I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from Marstons. As a young, pregnant woman, I’ve never experienced anything so distressing. I received a £2.50 fine from Dartcharge, which was a mistake on their part and shouldn’t have been issued in the first place as I had already paid to go through. I provided receipts as proof, yet the bailiffs showed up demanding payment. They completely ignored the evidence and threatened to forcibly enter my home where I was alone at the time, take our cars, and seize our possessions within 30 minutes unless I paid a fine that had somehow ballooned to £500. The stress this caused me, especially being young and pregnant, was absolutely disgusting. I shouldn’t have had to deal with this, especially when I had already paid a fine that was never my fault. This company’s behaviour is beyond unacceptable and disgusting.

Dart charge paid with receipts and letter from Dart charge themselves to say account was fine. Marston arrived and bullied my daughter who was 7 months pregnant and did not care into paying a fine despite all the evidence. Threatened forced entry and to remove cars. Absolute disgrace. Mark the bailiff how do you sleep at night did not care about my daughters wellbeing. Am seeking legal advice and will not stop until this company are closed down.

Long story short....unknown to me I received two £5.00 Dart Charges for a hire vehicle. I was then abroad and had never received any communication from the hire company. The first letter I received was from Marston saying I had an unpaid debt with crazy charges added. I explained all this to Marston and obtained advise. I received an email from Marston confirming my account was on hold and I appealed via Dart Charge (TEC). Zero communication later from either Dart Charge TEC department or Marston and a bailiff turns up at my old address!!!!
I am still abroad and there is not any outcome to my appeal at this stage and this company send even send any follow up email at all and then behave like this! I don't know the outcome yet of my appeal and my account should still be on hold.
The stress they have caused me by their totally unethical approach is a disgrace. I will be finding out the status and then taking legal action about their conduct.

One star is too high. They claim to offer many ways to communicate but do neither. All my calls cancelled unless I pretend to be calling to pay.
Why if 97% agree they are so bad, do they exist ?
Has anyone taken them to court ?
I am going to do just that.

I paid a overdue parking fine that I forgot about a few months ago and all of a sudden this morning I had a bailiff at my door trying to seize my assets or I had to pay him the money that I had already paid with interest. Someone messed up down the line and I have the bank statements to prove it’s been paid yet they didn’t want to accept that as a response.

I’ve now paid double the fine because someone didn’t document it properly and I’m having to dispute it.

Scum bags! Somehow got hold of my phone number and put a sticker on my car one day with no name no info just demands to call and pay lol pay for what and who should be paying this unicorn payment??

They are so rude. They ask for money even after it has been paid and threaten to come to my house to take my things. They are absolute liars.

This company should be looked at the reason being it is run by gangsters reasons for saying this as follows.
1.they are rude on the phone.
2.if your in difficulties they send a bailiff to your house and put £225 on top of the bill you couldn't pay in the first place.
3 I explained I would be late on payment as I'm having to go to food banks to feed my family as I had a major operation and couldn't work.There reply was you must have family to help you absolute disgraceful company they have no compassion company has to be looked at.

These onanists have sent a bailiff to my home address whilst I was on holiday.
The imbecile bailiff has not dated the document he hand delivered, his name is Peter Regan Latham from Burnley.
The person to whom the letter is addressed does not nor ever has lived at my property.
I have told this imbecile this by phone message as he failed to answer his phone.
I have contacted Marston Holdings by e mail and attempted to buy phone but struggled as I have no account with them.
I have contacted HMTCS who have instigated this in the first place and have returned documents to them " not at this address".
All three have ignored me.
Utter mooncalves who I hope our God will deal with appropriately.

Absolutely vile company. Full of bullies and extortionists, driven solely by ensuring misery to any that have the misfortune to cross their path.

Absolute parasites, lowest of the low who get enjoyment of seeing people suffer who are already suffering for their financial benefits.

ruthless evil company with extortion fees and very bad behaviours of stuff. they can all go to deepest spot of hell.

So these people are the folks that our parking issues are outsourced too. So all the parking on double yellow lines, zigzags etc it's down to these clowns to deal with it.

However they have no real interest in dealing with it. They won't issue penalties to anyone unless their "enforcement officers" witness it. (Imagine the police having that philosophy)

Doesn't matter how much photographic evidence is provided, clear breaches of law they won't act.

Well, I never thought in a million years that I would be writing a 5* positive review for this company, but here goes.. I had received a letter giving me 2 weeks to pay 2 fines for the Dart Charge (this was the first I'd heard of it as I had moved) Phoned Marston's explaining this which they confirmed and tried to set up an arrangement. The RUDE BULLY I spoke to was demanding me to pay the lot over 2 months at £177 pm which I said I couldn't do and explained that I have bi-polar disorder and therefore am a vulnerable customer and wanted to be put through to their welfare dept. She wouldn't have any of it and said if I don't pay then they would be round to take my stuff, so I had no choice to pay. This left me in a state. 3 days later I called them again as I hadn't been sleeping and was spiralling, I was ready for another bully, but a really nice and empathetic man called Hamzah answered and he was a star. He apologised for the way I had been treated and logged a complaint for me. He also took me through the procedure for vulnerable clients and put my case on hold for 30 days pending medical evidence and also time to appeal my case directly with Dart Charge. I cannot tell you how professional and sensitive he was. He definitely deserves a promotion. I felt instantly better. Thanks Hamzah

Absolutely livid

I’ve logged a complaint for reference L047911 nearly 3 weeks ago because I never received the first notification and have had no proof of any offence. I’ve had no acknowledgment of my complaint but had just had a new letter come through my door, delivered by hand, with a massive increase

When I tried calling proper to my complaint I reached an automated service that cut me off after several minutes.

Hopefully no one has the displeasure of dealing with this company. My daughter didn’t receive the letters so when MR MGARRY the bully turned up she had no clue who he was. He wanted £395 there and then so made sure to threaten to take her car and up the payments by 500 if it wasn’t all paid. She offered 300 then to pay 95 in 9 days so she had money for food but he wouldn’t accept it. She is 14 weeks pregnant and ended up hyperventilating due to this bully. This company needs investigating as the next vulnerable person they deal with might end up trying to find another way out due to their bullying behaviour!

These people are absolutely evil. £2.00 Mersey flow as you can’t pay like you can at normal tolls as I was unwell forgot and paid 7 days later yet £382 demand or I will come into your home and take your belongings yet I has no letters nothing. Looking in my car which is via mobility ain’t mine to take absolute evil humans, the world has gone mad innocent people who are unwell and rob them of what they have don’t care about anyone and not even a court order, no ID legally can’t do it but they prey on people and don’t care, I am unwell over all of this.

Hand delivered and written letter shoved through my door. Didn't even knock. The qr code on the letter isn't even linked or legit, takes you to broken foreign link. Trying to get me to pay a statute barred debt. Yeah right bye then ! Bunch of clowns

So I've apparently been done for littering in Newcastle, had somone called Mrs Maidstone contact me saying there's a warrant for forced entry to my old adress and one for my new one. I apparently owe £697.. Absolute appalling company couldn't give me any information towards the wine and kept saying "were not obliged to give that kind of information. no reference number no official paper work. Email etc... but contact off a mobile number... very unlawful and absolutely absurd

Absolutely disgusting organisation.

I had not paid a Bridge Crossing (£2.00) the next thing I know there is a bully at my door saying if I don't give him £389 he will be taking my car. I explained that I'd had no paperwork from a court or anything. "You've had it" was his blunt retort, though he couldn't prove it. When I insisted he prove it he showed me his tablet which didn't show much at all. I asked how I could verify the legitimacy of things but he grew impatient, became aggressive and put a clamp on my car, threatening to charge me another £110.00. When I went to get my angle grinder to cut it off, he called 999.

These people are bullies. Sometimes mistakes happen, sometimes paperwork gets lost. The man in question had no interest in clarifying anything, he came to throw his weight around. He thought he was "well hard" but was a little comical as he looked very much like Peter Kay when he plays Max the Bouncer. So because he's shaved his head and grown a goatie he things he's Tyson Fury. He started going on about my attitude as though he were a police officer and I think that these people are, after all, people who never made it into the police or organised crime but still want to shove people around. When I relayed this to him, he seemed to think he was doing God's work saying he would often chase paedophiles and rapists for money. I doubt it somehow.

That this individual acted as he did
is no surprise really. Who watches Can't Pay, Take it Away and thinks "I'd like to do that". And the organisation who employs these power hungry people is doubtless less than wholesome. However, what I would say is that I'd seriously question the ethics and professionalism of any organisation who hires Marston. Organisations such as Merseyflow!
