I was a little cautious as I read the reviews a few months ago but then Mavis came in highly recommended at the same time by a friend who had secured some funding a few years ago so far they have been really helpful especially as there is so much confusion between charity,cic,ltd they have given me a lot of guidance so far and we going in the right direction

I worked for this company between November and December 2024 and faced significant delays in being paid for my work. I was repeatedly given timelines for payment that were not met, and the final amount was only settled in November 2025.
Throughout that time I dealt directly with Mavis, and although we discussed the delays, the situation remained unresolved for almost a year. Others I know who also worked with the organisation experienced similar delays in receiving payment.
After the final payment was made, there was no apology or follow-up communication, which to me indicated a lack of care. Since posting my review, I have been contacted multiple times by the company and by Mavis asking me to change or remove it, which has felt uncomfortable.
This is an honest account of my experience, and based on what I went through, I would not work with or recommend this organisation.

I think we need to get both sides as the funding arena at the moment is so hard with the cost of living too, i have wrote my own funding applications and its taken me 3 years but finally we got something in the end

After asking you for my monies back very politely.

You have left me no choice but to actively pursue continuous search for my money including damages.
come what may i gave you the opportunity even after falsely replying to me on WhatsApp that you responded when you didn't.

Unfortunately the Marvel Business Group has not paid me for freelance work carried out. The business has changed hands now, however the new business has not been in touch to pay the outstanding debts of the Marvel Business Group. There a many members of the team who have not been paid.

It took a year, but Mavis helped us secure £99k to run our youth project and it was worth the wait. The service was initially just okay, but once I built a strong relationship with Mavis and her team, everything started progressing in the right direction. Their expertise and support made a huge difference. Thank you for helping us achieve this milestone!

SHE IS A SCAMMER, UNTRUSTWORTHY & FULL OF IT!!!! Very Bad company to work for, she doesn't pay her bid writers. It is a scan please do not fall into the trap.

Applied for funding as far back as last year Nov 2023, a very slow service. Changed bid writers twice! Very little communication. All comments are turned off on socials so no one can comment on how terrible the service is!
