Misleading and deceptive

I purchased two items (a woollen top and a winter coat) after contacting a representative named “Just Debos” to confirm sizing. I relied on the advice provided before placing my order.

When the coat arrived, it was far too small. I contacted them to arrange a return. Although the website stated the item was shipped from the Netherlands, I was told that to receive a full refund I would need to return the coat to China at my own expense.

They attempted to pressure me into accepting partial refunds instead — first 10%, then 30% — if I kept the coat. I refused both offers and followed their instructions to return the item to the Chinese address provided.

They specifically asked me to send the tracking number once I had posted the parcel. I did exactly that.

Shortly after sending the tracking details, their website disappeared and their email address stopped working.

I waited until the tracking confirmed delivery in China and attempted to contact them again, but their email remained inactive and the website was still gone.

At this stage, they had both the returned coat and my money. I therefore raised a dispute with my credit card provider.

Unexpectedly, I later received an email from the same individual (“Just Debos”) using a generic email account stating that they had “closed their store,” while questioning why I had initiated a chargeback.

I was told to withdraw the dispute in exchange for an 80% refund. When I refused, I was threatened with a prolonged dispute process, told I would lose, and warned that I would not recover my return shipping costs.

My credit card provider has since advised me to cease further communication and retain all correspondence, including the threatening emails.

The sequence of events — disappearance immediately after providing tracking, claiming the store was closed, and reappearing only after a chargeback to pressure withdrawal — raises serious concerns.

Please exercise extreme caution before purchasing from this website. Research thoroughly and verify return policies and business details before ordering.

Misleading company on Facebook

The company trade on Facebook as Mary Anne Boutique in Dublin but the contact number is in Vietnam and the physical address is a house address in the Netherlands. They claim the clothes are good quality and on a sale and will be send within 2 or 3 days after you order it. It is then send from China and is just clothes than you can buy for half the price or cheaper from Temu or Shein. They claim you can send it back within 14 days but you have to pay for the returns yourself. The photos of the women who owned the store as well as the happy customers are all fake. I reported them to FB and they just blocked me and are now private. There are numerous other similar "stores in Dublin" with different names but same stories that are advertising on FB. Make sure you look at the fine print and see where the clothes are shipped from and what the return policy are before you spend your money.
