Everything about Mastering.com is amazing! TRE is so helpful to understanding different aspects on making music and promoting. I love how they help you learn to enjoy your work as well as helping you find a way to make income too. If you join TRE you learn the process backwards but it makes sense when you do it(so cool). MP101 is great for starters who want a feel for mastering, mixing and production. The mentors are so helpful and talented no matter where you go. They are always so kind! The community is one of the best communities I’ve ever seen as well! It’s like family and no matter what you are struggling with or want to learn about they will help you the whole way out. The people that help them out from behind the scenes are also amazing too. They do side events which help you understand more of something or gets you into trying something new. This has been one of the best things I have ever done for my career. The program is pricey but if you are really looking to hone your skills in music engineering this is a solid place to start. The community alone is worth the ticket and mentors are amazing and it’s only getting better. My only regret is not diving in head first when I started the program and utilizing all it has to offer. I am heading into my 2nd year with Mastering.com and couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made and the things I never knew I didn’t know prior to the process.

Expensive but no regrets. I’ve been in the program about a year and the improvement I’ve seen in the quality of my work is huge. I’m not yet where I want to be but I have no worries that the team won’t help me get there in time.

The mentors are all approachable, knowledgable and cover a wide range of preferred genres. The community itself is also incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The coursework itself is detailed, and thoughtful, as well as revised and expanded all the time as the mentors cover more ground or improve the delivery of older content.

And constant access to mentors is simply huge. Just yesterday I was struggling on a track. I was able to jump on a call with a mentor within a few hours of deciding to get help, share my work and receive detailed feedback and advice to unblock me.

Finally the team is constantly following up, keeping you accountable to your own progress, but still patient and encouraging.

The only thing I would say is that this is not a magic bullet. You have to be both willing, and able, to put in the time, and practice the concepts and techniques they teach.

Great program I'm in! I'm really excited! I have now got a plan how to start and finish my mixes and masterings. Not endless tries and errors...nearly one shot and mixes/masterings are done. Thank all the mentors so much to give insight of their workflows! I'm looking forward to the production module :-)

Have learnt a huge amount from both the free online content and the paid course but the real value comes from the mentoring calls. Even if it’s just listening in on feedback from others’ submissions, there are tonnes of valuable insights to be gained. The threads on the app are also super useful and questions are answered quickly, with lots of contributions from both the mentors and the community. Massively recommended

I’m just a hobbyist who just took a trial to see course content.
And I must say that it’s by far the best course an aspiring producer can get.
Whether you are a beginner or advanced, you are surely upgrade your knowledge on music production.

You could go through youtube videos. But at mastering.com you have professional industry grade music producers who teach their craft via well structured video courses.
Further more, you have the opportunity to get on a coaching call with them and get tips on how to improve your music production.

I honestly expected a mediocore course, but was suprised by the quality content that this community is offering.
Totally worth the monthly subscription for such content.

I first heard about this program from an advertisement on youtube. I liked what I heard but I am generally skeptical of targeted ads. About a year later I had done more research into this program as well as other programs and decided to go with TRE. They had just started a program for beginners called Music Production 101. It taught all the basics from start to finish (production, mixing, & mastering). Our final project was to start and complete an original song applying what we learned.
After completing this program there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to sign up for the full-blown TRE program to truly hone-in my skills. I have been in the program for about a year now and am halfway through. I have a decent amount of other things going on in my life so the work at my own pace structure has helped me. The price is also a plus. It is substantially cheaper than an official degree but I feel like I am learning the same things. If anything it cuts out the noise of a full blown school because I am learning the straightforward skills without a lot of extra filler.
If you are looking for a program to learn how to do everything you need to write, mix, and master your music at a very affordable price, this is for you.

I have been in the TRE program of Mastering.com for just over a year and do not regret my investment in myself one bit. I went from a lot of guessing and attempting to implement tips from YouTube to following a structured, sensible approach to learning how to get professional sounding results.

The community supports each other and the mentors and mentor review calls are all fantastic as well!

The staff and community are beyond helpful, and I would recommend TRE to any aspiring music producer, they truly want you to know the WHY instead of just what to do

I have been part of the TRE program for just over a year. It is by far the best investment I have made in furthering my aspirations in the music industry. Before you invest in more plugins, more “quick fix” programs or watch hours of videos on YouTube promising easy steps to success, check out mastering.com.

The mentors and management team are focused on providing the best online course material and learning experience available anywhere. Material has been added and updated on multiple occasions during the course of my year in the program. This was done to clarify or improve lesson material in response to students questions or confusion in the forums and mentor calls. Speaking of mentor calls, the weekly call schedule has also been updated and refined multiple times in response to student needs and suggestions. The mastering.com team has even revised the programs that are available to the net benefit of the existing members.

The constant attention to what the community needs and the integrity, willingness, and commitment to look for ways to improve the value that is delivered makes this a truly peerless program.

But then there's the community of peers - I joined a couple of other programs before TRE, but the combination of excellent mentoring skills and their engagement with the members leverages the value of a community of like-minded people. This is truly a value-add and is an unexpected benefit I've gotten out of being in the program.

In recognition of the value the community brings to the program, the leadership team even took on the work of coordinating and scheduling multiple, live, in-person events. I was able to participate in the first live event (for an additional cost) and it was the experience of a lifetime for someone who would have never had access to famous studios and recording engineers. And meeting the mentors and community peers at this event cemented my love and appreciation for this program.

Okay, I'm gushing, but I'm being honest - this program has been INCREDIBLE and I'm so glad I chose to invest in myself here.

TRE has gotten me out of the YouTube rabbit hole, completely changed my mindset on so many levels for so many things when it comes to engineering, and provided consistent mentorship from real industry professionals to help fill in the gaps. Truly the program to be in for music lovers who want to become an audio engineer!

I have learned so much from these wonderful, talented people. As someone with little experience or knowledge about the music industry and the various steps to professionally making music (i.e., mastering, mixing, and producing), I can already tell this is an amazing start. I'm a year in, and it has been rewarding throughout.

Beyond the knowledge and wealth of tools in the course, the mentors truly care. They have crafted a welcoming, supportive community that wants to see you succeed. Continuously adapting and upgrading to the needs of the students AND the music industry standards, T.R.E. has been the perfect grounding for my personal growth as a musician and aspiring professional.

I cannot recommend them enough. Yes, it is an investment, but it is up to you to make that worthwhile. It's go-at-your-own-pace, and you have help every step of the way. If you're on the fence about this, trust me, you want in!

I think what makes it stand out are the mentor calls. The feedback has helped me focus on the areas that I need to improve.

Literally the best and only audio program you'll ever need. I was "pretty good" at music before coming into this but I knew I wasn't achieving a professional sound and Mastering.com helped me do exactly that.

I have been with Mastering.com for a year. The courses are well crafted, flow well, and are regularly updated. Which can be challenging to step back and finish in a timely fashion while working a regular job. Yet, the community of students and mentors are extremely helpful when asked any question. I have taken audio engineering classes in the past. Mastering.com's classes have broadened my approach towards everything in audio engineering. I value the experience tremendously and recommend Mastering.com for anyone who is looking to start a career or expand an existing career in audio engineering, production, and most of all, mindset.

Mastering.com was a lifeline for me! My background is in composition and when it came to the engineering side, I was lost. I had taken other classes, participated in other groups but was never able to truly understand this side of the industry. I stumbled across them on YouTube while desperately searching for help with my DAW, and I've been with them ever since. Where I was then to where I am now is a world apart. I'm no longer intimidated by the engineering side. In fact, I actually like it! My confidence has grown and I'm a better composer because I have a fuller understanding what the possibilities are to create music. Best decision I ever made!!

This program has changed and grown so much even in the year I have been using it. I feel like the mentors have their students' needs in mind as they continue to shape the program to better help everyone. One of the many new perks is lifelong membership, which is great not only because we are always learning, but because members with years of experience can mentor those just beginning their journeys. The community has been a great place for me to get my basic questions answered and meet others learning along side me. I have found the live sessions with mentors very helpful, and they are available pretty much whenever you need someone to go over your work. I am checked on regularly by Lucy, who makes sure no one slips through the cracks. I also love that certification is available at the end of the program, although I don't like that it costs extra. It also costs extra to join the record label, which I feel should be included given the cost of the program. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants a solid course in music engineering.

One of the best decisions I've made. I'm a year into the program, I joined initially to improve the quality of my own music, but a year in I've started mixing and mastering professionally with a few satisfied clients under my belt and an awesome journey ahead. TRE is worth every penny if you are willing to work hard and engage with this wonderful community.
