I joined Masterschool with zero tech background but within few months, i'm able to do a lot when it comes to coding and projects. I'm really happy to be a student of this great institute.

The extended classes they offer just make the most sense. Especially for people who come from a completely different field. If you truly want to learn something completely new, it is going to take some time. Their employees are transparent, honest, and very supportive. Compared to a lot of offers I got from different educational services, Masterschool made the most serious impression and offers the most sustainable learning experience on the market.

Embarking on my path into cybersecurity through Masterschool Online University has been nothing short of a transformative experience. Some very good exercises to learn SE from the scratch. Tutors do a great job in supporting the students!

I had one of the most efficient Career Service Advisor, who kept on working closely with me frequently to ensure I achieve the desired success of landing a Job. Along the way, we had career boost sessions, where HR’s were invited to speak to us about what the job market looks like and what companies are most interested in, we also had multiple training sessions as well as vouchers for major industry relevant certifications. I am happy to say that I got hired on my first interview ever in a country (Finland) where I don’t speak the native language yet with the help of Masterschools dedication to my process. I highly recommend that interested candidates should reach out as I am a testament that you will be in great hands.

Sebastian has been really helpful while I applied for a Bildungsgutshein. Even if I didn’t get the financial support I needed to start a career in IT, he dedicated his time and experience to guide me in the application process. I really appreciated his friendly tone and helpful tips!

I’m very happy with my experience at Masterschool. I am about to complete their 8-month Software Engineering program with a specialization in Backend Engineering which was well-structured and packed with valuable content. We also had fun (and demanding) events like the two Hackathons or the Carreer Sprint.

The program followed a self-study model, but with regular live sessions that really added value. The teachers in these sessions were always knowledgeable, helpful, and motivating. I also had a dedicated personal Academic Success Manager (someone like a personal mentor) who supported me throughout, answered all my questions, and was always there when I needed help.

One thing I particularly appreciated was how Masterschool actively listened to feedback. My cohort shared suggestions and criticism - and the Masterschool team took it seriously. They made real changes to their processes (for example the structure of the live sessions) based on what we shared.

Overall, I highly recommend Masterschool to anyone looking to start a career in tech. It’s a well-organized, supportive, and responsive learning environment that truly empowers its students.

The study experience at Masterschool has been intense but rewarding. The curriculum builds a solid base in Python, SQL, and AI, with hands-on projects and great support.

Highlights for me were the hackathons and the career sprint – both practical, fast-paced, and full of growth. Some AI content could be more up-to-date, but if you’re motivated, you’ll get a lot out of it.

The 1:1 CV and LinkedIn session with Charlotte was anything but cookie-cutter – personal, precise, and spot-on. She helped shape not just a technically solid profile, but one that truly reflects me. Her eye for detail, combined with a sharp sense of what actually works, made the whole experience feel incredibly tailored. This kind of support is what sets Masterschool apart.

I had the pleasure of working with my career coach during the Career Sprint, which was one of the most valuable parts of the experience. From our very first session, they brought a perfect balance of encouragement, honesty, and actionable guidance.
Every session felt focused and motivating, and I always walked away with practical tools and a clearer mindset.

Masterschool has excellent and dedicated instructors and career coaches who will support you in launching your tech career. I started with no technical knowledge or background, but after six months of studying, I've already acquired the technical skills in the Python programming language, a professional resume, and a professional LinkedIn profile.

I’m really happy I chose to study full-stack software development at Master School. From the very beginning, it felt like the right decision. The entire experience has been thoughtfully designed and well-organized for a digital learning environment, yet it never feels impersonal — quite the opposite.

What stood out most for me is the human element: although the program is online, you always have real people to connect with. One of the highlights was the support from the Academic Success Manager (ASM). Coming from a very communicative career background, having someone to talk to regularly about progress, challenges, and next steps made all the difference. It gave me both clarity and confidence throughout the journey.

The curriculum itself is strong and the sessions go deep into the practical aspects of learning to code. But what impressed me even more was the career preparation. Beyond technical skills, Master School helps you prepare for real-life interviews, polish your personal presentation, and build confidence through mock interviews. In my case, this part was incredibly well executed and gave me a strong foundation to move forward professionally.

All in all, I felt guided, supported, and equipped — both personally and professionally. For anyone looking for a serious and human-centered online education in tech, I can truly recommend Master School.

The people there really help you and do their best to get you a spot in the program. It is really organized and you can just ask questions whenever you want to your private contact person.

Demanding program with potential, but not for everyone

I completed the 7-month Cyber Security program at Masterschool. My overall impression is positive, but I’d like to honestly share my experience - this program is definitely not for everyone.

If you already have some IT experience, this course can be a great way to transition into cybersecurity. However, if you're starting completely from scratch, the reality is that after 7 months of intensive learning, it's very difficult to land a job as a Cyber Security Analyst. The program provides solid fundamentals, but anyone with no prior IT background needs to be prepared for a massive amount of self-study.

In my case, I was studying 8–10 hours a day to fill in the gaps and reach my goal. Eventually, I succeeded - I signed a contract as a Junior System / Network Admin (Fachinformatiker). It’s not a cybersecurity role (yet), but it’s a solid step in the right direction. Without this program, I wouldn't have had any chance to break into IT, and for that, I’m truly grateful.

🔍 Some constructive feedback:
There should be a selection process for applicants - currently, the student group is very mixed in terms of skill level and experience.

The program lacks solid networking fundamentals - in my opinion, CompTIA Network+ should be mandatory before CompTIA Security+. Instead, we had the Google IT Support course from Coursera, which unfortunately isn’t well recognized on the job market.

The program’s length (7 months) is simply not enough to comprehensively cover everything - hands-on practice is very limited due to time constraints.

✅ On the positive side:
The community - I met amazing people and built friendships that are still going strong.

My mentor - Weekly meetings with my mentor provided real motivation and support throughout the program.

Career support - Help with CV writing, interview prep, and job applications was very professional and well-structured.

🌟 I especially want to highlight the value of the paid internship at Webeet, which was offered at the end of the program.
That internship was a real gem - it gave students the chance to build practical, real-world skills in a real company environment. For someone who completed only a 7-month bootcamp, hands-on practice is absolutely essential to become employable.

Without that internship, it will be extremely difficult for many students to land their first cybersecurity job. It's a huge disadvantage that this internship program has now been discontinued - in my view, that’s a significant loss for future students.

👏 And I absolutely must mention Craig Taylor, who was our Head of Security during the internship.
Craig is someone with incredible knowledge, deep experience, and an outstanding approach to teaching. He was able to explain complex topics in a clear and approachable way, and he created an environment where students genuinely wanted to grow and learn. Thanks to him, the internship was not only valuable, but also dynamic and truly professional - I’m very grateful for that.

🧩 Final thoughts:
If you treat this course as a starting point, are ready for daily hard work, and understand that success won’t come automatically, then Masterschool can be a great stepping stone. But if you're starting from zero, don’t expect miracles after just 7 months. This program has potential, but without practical experience and a solid technical foundation, the journey will be very steep.
