Very disappointing quality. Wooden shelf brackets were inconsistent and not at right angles, so the shelves would have been uneven. Screw holes were off-centre which would have looked messy. (Unfortunately I can't upload photos here to demonstrate.) These are supposed to be good looking brackets - they were not!

Returned before use – had to message twice to start the return. Then they could not find the brackets after return – may have been lost in post, or lost in warehouse. Did not get a refund. Very poor experience all round.

We needed glass shelves to display precious pottery. These shelves were perfect and easy to install using the stainless steel brackets. Also delivery was prompt.

Ordered two pairs of chrome brackets for a 1.5m glass shelf. Needed to confirm some details for suitability.
Telephone answered promptly with minimum 'menus' and a very helpful and knowledgeable lady staff member gave me the answers.
Brackets and shelf now in situ. Looks great. Happy to recommend Mastershelf.

Lydia at Mastershelf was fantastic to deal with. I’d ordered a shelf but for some reason it hadn’t arrived. Fine, these things happen. It’s how the business deals with it and responds that counts. Lydia was spot on. She replied immediately, looked it up, accepted my description of the issue, sorted it straightaway and the product arrived next morning. Perfect. I’m a very happy punter and it was a pleasure to deal with a proper human being who replied in a normal, friendly helpful way and not either a bot or a person trained to behave like a bot. So full marks. Oh, and very happy with the product too!

I've recently been setting up a simple home cinema in my lounge, and I've been looking for a nice floating shelf to hold the projector behind the sofa. I found the perfect thing on Mastershelf - their 115cm walnut floating shelf kit (which is amusingly called the Big Boy on the german packaging !) Anyway, I'm over the moon with my new shelf. I ordered on Sunday evening, and it arrived on Wednesday morning. The quality is excellent - the shelf itself is made of chipboard with some sort of veneer, which obviously makes it much lighter than a solid lump of wood (only 4kg), but it looks lovely and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. Fitting it was a doddle once I'd located a suitable wooden beam in my plasterboard wall, and the shelf slides onto the steel brackets really snugly so there's no wobbling.

I really wasn't sure what to expect for about £35, but I'm very very pleased. Will definitely use Mastershelf again. Thanks :)

I ordered a floating shelf from Mastershelf aka "TOP SHELVING LTD" via B&Q's website on 24/06. I received an order confirmation email, payment had been taken via Paypal, and the next day an email saying my order has been dispatched.

Job done, or so I thought. A week went by and I have not received the delivery so I went to check the tracking via the link in the dispatch email. FedEx has no record of it. I logged into my B&Q account, there is no record of my order. So I called B&Q customer services to chase it up, only to be told (after almost 20 minutes on hold) I need to contact the 3rd party vendor as they are the ones responsible for fulfilling my order.

On the dispatch email from 25/06 there is a tiny orange box which reads "Contact Seller", how did I miss that? Upon clicking the box, I am taken to a message which tells me the shelf I ordered is out of stock. So I've been twiddling my thumbs for a week waiting for a shelf that was never going to arrive. No communication from either company since the "your order has been dispatched" email. It was only after I responded to this ridiculously concealed message that I was refunded. Seems they were happy to keep my money indefinitely, despite not actually having what I ordered in stock.

A simple email saying "sorry the shelf you ordered is out of stock, here's your money back" would have sufficed but instead I've been sent on a wild goose chase by two companies without a crumb of decent customer service between them.

I would like to say a big thank you for an excellent product excellently packaged excellently delivered.
The packaging in particular has been very well thought out. The end of the uprights package looked worse for wear upon delivery but because you have packaged it so well with 'cushioning' at each end there was no (expected) damage whatsoever to the goods.
I will not hesitate to recommend your company. Of all the deliveries I receive I think yours stands out a mile.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Don’t buy anything from them. I ordered a shelf and waited two weeks. In the meantime, I canceled the order. The shelf didn’t arrive and was returned. Then they sent me the same shelf again. I still haven’t received a refund. It’s been a month already.

I ordered my shelf drawers but had small problem with my receipt. Got straight in touch spoke by message to a lovely lady who sorted it straight away. My order came the next day and the packaging was brilliant no chance of anything being damaged. Would definitely recommend this company.

Ordered four floating shelves. Really good quality. Changed my order for one shelf last minute, no issues at all and shelf arrived the next day.
Customers service is excellent, kept me updated on the shelf that had to be ordered and swapped it with no issues.
Emails answered within a day and easy to get through to on the phone.
Will definitely be ordering from Mastershelf again.

Bought a pair of floating shelves at a good price. Arrived very quickly, despite ordering over Easter weekend. Really well packaged. Great quality German-made shelves that were straightforward to fit (clear instructions and correct fixings included). Shelves look great and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended supplier which I would definitely use again.

I've been looking for a very specific shelf bracket and reached out to them via their online chat. Lydia was incredibly helpful - she measured the bracket for me and even went out to measure other models to find a well fitting one for me. Overall I've been very impressed and will definitely purchase from them in the future.

I was looking around for a flexible, modular shelving unit to fit a specific space in my house. I came across the Boon range from Mastershelf which looked like just exactly what I was after. From my research it appears the original manufacturer of this range is a Germany company called Regalraum, but they have many reviews online criticising their poor packaging and products therefore being damaged in arrival. I chose instead to order from Mastershelf as they're UK based.

I spoke to them a couple times before placing the order to confirm some details and found them friendly, helpful and extremely responsive. Pricing was competitive.

The order arrived quickly and I have to say, the packing was excellent. They put extra reinforcing around the corners of the boxes to prevent damage of the components inside - needless to say it all arrived in perfect condition.

I'm very happy to recommend this small family business and wish them all the best for the future.

Following my purchase of 2 sets of shelf brackets Master shelf did not acknowledge my order after I had paid for it. Because Mastershelf also used the wrong address it is now stuck with the carrier Fed Ex , a situation which I am now expected to sort out. Looking back over my email history I see that the one time I previously used Mastershelf they were two months late with the order date they promised.

I was very pleased with the speedy dispatch of the brackets I had ordered. They were extremely well wrapped and are of a really good quality.
