Better than the paid for sites/services. I have been using Matts Match Betting Blog since it first arrived, I was already a seasoned Match Bettor by this point but still Matt's site had everything there for FREE! Brilliant calculators/offers advice stuff other sites charged a fortune for.
I wish exchanges had continued supporting Matt more though, as Match Betting draws to a close it's a shame free sites like Matts were not more encouraged.

This is strictly based on my experience U need a small amount of money as a new customer with new sign up offers both at the bookies and exchange to make decent profits upto £7 and more per matched bet with small stakes and liability exposure!..If u are lucky and early enough with placing your free matched bets u will see your profits at the end of same day!...However With the reload offers it is alittle bit different,U need much bigger bank roll both at the bookies and exchange to make profits of £2 to £3.50 per matched bet!...I'm talking bigger bank roll e.g say u want to make profits of £2.50 u need a stake amount of £25 and more and if u require a big stake amount then u will require a bigger liability backing at the exchange to place that matched bet!!...Also with reload offers u are not able to use all your free bets on the same day with certain companies..IF u are willing to put in the work for small tiny profits £2-£3.50 with a much bigger bank roll both at the bookies and exchange with the reload offers then this is definitely something u will enjoy!!

It sounds like you may have missed something with the sign up offers. You mention that there is a ceiling of £7 profit to be made from them, but many of the sign up offers enable you to make profits of between £15 and £25.
Generally speaking, the more offers you want to do at the same time, the more funds you need to place your matched bets. People tend to work through the sign up offers one at a time, which means they don't require a large bankroll.
With so many reload offers available each day, you need a bigger bankroll if you want to do multiple offers at the same time.
My Matched Betting Academy is structured so that you build your bankroll up whilst completing the sign up offers, which then allows you to complete multiple reload offers on a daily basis.

Matched Betting Blog is the Good Standard
I've been using Matched Betting Blog for a number of weeks now. I started small and just taking the welcome offers but once they dried up I needed to expand into the reloads. Matt at MBB has up to date and easy to understand instructions on where the offers are and how to go about taking them. The site is easy enough to understand and the tools are really simple to use once you get your head around how matched betting works.
Since making detailed recordings of my winnings I've made £310 in 5 weeks from reload only offers. There's been a few other perks along the way in terms of lucky hits on the casino offers which puts me closer to £400 profit.
Matched Betting has its risks and its important to check your bets thoroughly before staking. Not reading the T&Cs could result in your choosing ineligible bets. And make sure you've laid them off correctly.
