Bogus and fake profiles

I had subscribed to this platform seeking a bride for my son. After going through the profiles, I tried to send the interest but I was told that I can only send to the profiles from India. The profiles available on the platform I was told by one of the call center members that it is "only there just like that" and I cannot do anything with that.

Such companies floating profiles that are fake with pics taken from the internet or elsewhere is only misleading people for money's sake. Please do not subscribe to this site at any cost unless you have money to throw around.

Looks like they are Scammers

Looks like they are Scammers! I registered with the matrimonialsindia.com from United States to find a suitable alliance for my son. I paid for 6 months platinum membership, but nothing happened. upon it's expiry they forced me again to pay for the expert services but i restricted myself for a same previous service by paying them for 6 months more. Just last week i caught their act red-handed while sharing one profile that is with someone else's photo on it. We found that same female picture reflecting on two different profiles and profile numbers, age and religion. When i highlighted what I have realized, the representative (Palwinder Kaur) coolly told me it has been created by someone else as a FAKE Profile which they are not aware of. when i told her it is a major fraudulent and I may complaint their act with police, she quickly hung up the phone and, she deleted her what's app messages sent to me earlier. At this time, I understood and realized it is a BIG SCAM that I am trapped in.
After this incident I immediately deleted my son’s personal details and photos from their website. The site asked for an OTP verification for it. Even-though I deleted my profile and picture it is still appearing on their website. This is another fraud thing they do retain deleted profiles on their website to impress and market their product to other customers.
I am going to lodge a complaint to the Indian Embassy in US against this company if they do not stop this fraudulent act and if they do not remove my son’s details and photos from their website immediately.
Beware!

They are a scam and use your profile and pics and privacy

They are a scam. Okay they took my money. I am a public person they keep using my profile for what???? They blocked me everywhere because i asked them to delete my profile. I did not even ask for money. Only to delete my profile. I swear to god and trust me, they will pay by the order of this universe of how hypocrite and a scammer they are. Avoid. Never use them. I swear to god, scamming is one thing but using our profile? Our picture to lure other people to buy their package? Ah thats how they lured me i remember, but hey remember, you are playing with the wrong persons guess why? The order of nature prevails, be prepared . All i had asked was delete my profile, be ready now.

Fake Promises and Committments by Silky Sandhu. Matrimonials India is a fraud company.

The Following email I had written to Matrimonials India and they are an absolute crap, fraud and Scam service. Pls register on Shaadi. com or Jeevansathi. com atleast they are better and verified in their services. they are highly professional.

Matrimonials india uses the same old unwanted data to sell and get people registered and they simply fool you, the following are the important points to be highlighted:;

Silky sandhu who admitted that they are not allowed to give complete and proper information to clients, just to make them register and get Clients hard-earned money.

1) Sikly Sandhu's Fake promises and commitments breached trust, so I registered. Otherwise, please deduct her salary and pay me because I am also working hard to earn money.

2) Silky played with my emotions by doing wrong commitments and giving wrong hopes to me, Silky never gave me transparent information that this is a basic services, alright, She had hidden it, so that with false promises I can register, and then later she revealed me about basic services and premium services. Ur customer service agent, did fraud to me just to get registered. It is a mental harassment to me

3) Silky called me every early morning to disturb me, until i registered on live call of 10 mins. that was a harassment to my personal time.

4) out of 150 contacts , watever contacts I viewed , 95% numbers not verified n non-reachable. *Poor quality lead so not point of viewing

5) Non- Verified roles with no substance

6) By just veiwing profiles u don't see their contact numbers. So viewing 40 contacts has no substance n logic to it when I actually dont view their contacts (again not verified contacts)*

7) I registered on 15th March, based on 3 months membership, it's not even 1.5 ..half of the membership

8) Wrong/ incomplete information by Silky..hiding the complete information of charges for Special relationship manager. And basic services difference

9) Does Company policy give approval to give wrong misleading information ? or right information. What Silky Sandhu told while registration, ( FYI- I have all the whatsapp chats) That is also against company policy

Note: Please don't declare it as a virtue, when ur customer service representatives give fake promises and cheat people by giving wrong information, alright. If the HOD wants to talk to me, let's have a teams or zoom video call meet with the Quality department. I also do have all the chats of silky and shalu on how they spoke to me, if you don't record the call, since it whatsapp voice (Non-recorded)

I dont want to post Whatsapp chats, which is very personal, but Matrimonials india and their customer representatives Silky, Shalu they all are scammers and fraud, Atleast Gurpreet from the Quality team was better, polite and helpful in giving solutions. I can appreciate Gurpreet but Silky Sandhu and Shalu, absolute crap and fake people with fake promises and committments.

I had criticized them last week

I had criticized them last week. But they did offer to refund my money and responded many times. While I think their database is limited, they are trying to help people as much as possible. I will give them a 4 if I get my money back. And their agent Nehhas is super responisve.

Avoid Registering

Do not register on this site. It's a scam. They charge exorbitant fees to contact matches and will relentlessly call and pester you. I made a huge mistake registering here. Any positive reviews are likely from their own staff, not from genuine users

MatrimonialIndia is an absolute scam

MatrimonialIndia is an absolute scam. They are only interested in taking your money, not in genuinely helping you find a match. Their representative, Rinki, called me constantly before I took the membership, making big promises and giving fake suggestions just to meet her targets. However, as soon as I paid for the membership, everything changed. I never received a call from them again. Whenever I tried to reach out, they either didn’t answer my calls or told me they were “busy.” After spending a significant amount of money, this is the treatment I received.

I've had the membership for the past two months and haven't received a single connection that matched my preferences. It feels like their only focus is on achieving business targets, with no real intention of helping their clients. They play with people’s emotions and offer nothing of value in return.

The entire experience was extremely disappointing. Before taking the membership, they promised personalized assistance and assured me they had suitable matches according to my preferences. However, all of those promises vanished the moment they secured my payment. I felt completely ignored, and it became clear that their primary goal was to meet sales targets rather than offer genuine support.

The lack of professionalism from their team is appalling. When I did manage to get through to someone, I was often met with excuses and delays. I expected a dedicated service, but instead, I received empty words and zero action. They lured me in with false promises and left me feeling frustrated and cheated.

If you’re considering MatrimonialIndia, I strongly advise you to think twice. Instead of wasting your hard-earned money on this platform, explore more transparent and reputable matrimonial services. Look for platforms with genuine reviews, clear communication, and no pushy sales tactics. Free or low-cost options like community-based groups, trusted family networks, or even well-known online platforms with good customer support might be far better alternatives.

Be cautious of anyone who pressures you into a paid membership with unrealistic promises. Do thorough research and choose a service with a proven track record of success and client satisfaction. Your time, emotions, and money are valuable—don’t let this company take advantage of them.

In conclusion, MatrimonialIndia is not worth the investment. They are only focused on their own business goals and have no real intention of providing meaningful support. I hope my experience helps others avoid falling into the same trap.

They are just after your money

They are just after your money, fraud scammers. Their service is extremely poor. They don't even bother answering your call after they have received your money and if they do, then they will tell you to pay more money then they will assist, which is also a fake.
They don't tell upfront any cost and are very expensive compared to other sites. Also, they charge in USD which is never mentioned until after you pay the $$$ and see your bank statement.
Stay away from them at all cost.
I asked to refund my money if they have any honesty or decency, but no response as usual. I will be reporting them to Fair Trading for sure and their site should be banned seriously.

This is a fraud web portal

This is a fraud web portal. I request you all please don't buy any membership here. They will call you and discuss hours to make trust but once we pay, they have nothing to do with your profile. Every profile is fake and it shows verified. They just know how to play with our emotions.

Scammer

Scammer! Alert! Alert!🚫🚫
Guys stay away from any Indian matrimonial. This site is totally a scam. The lady named Kajol and her team is a great scammer. They have been using few candidates photos for ages who are not real. They call ppl and talk so sweet until they get the money. Once they get the money they get disappear. They promise to contact you but will never contact. Rather they blame clients saying “you can not make time”. I have made some time from my busy schedule to give me a call (conference call). Kąkol never made any call at scheduled time. She said “we open office at 10am.” What type of professionalism it is especially when someone does business with overseas! I made my time according to her starting time. She still couldn’t make it! It is very clear that they are scammer! So ppl stay away from this ppl and their site.

Company name change

It appears, that they have changed their company name on Google.
I would not trust Google ratings to a certain extent on some issues like this, even if they say that they are the oldest company around. Some of the Indian matrimonial sites run under different names in guise on google with ratings most likely from their own staff
and friends.
I would not take any address for granted as some addresses could be virtual & some profile phone numbers could be virtual as well.
Previous review by another individual mentions about Pooja Khewal, it appears she is the same individual from Rishte Hi Rishte and Rishta on google.
To quote from another review:
"Starting with a call from Matrimonials India.com POOJA KHEWAL (Delhi Office),they asked for the fees $167 CAD in regard of fake promise that bride's family is interested in my profile. Secondly,I did not found profiles genuine.............". part of Quote from Tanmeet Singh from this platform.
They could go on instragram or Sulekha.com or justdial.com instead of Google to fabricate(fake) ratings, please take caution.
They provided me with a phone number that seemed to be re-routed and then, later blocked for one profile after sharing proof of my call to the said profile with them.
They took approximately $259.00CDN from me as well. They wanted more for "special" services but I declined to give.
Another review quote"For Austrailian audience"Especially Australian Audience, never give your sons/daughter profile to this fraud company. Any questions, you may reach me on 0410211163." End Quote from Dilip Srivastawa.
Take caution.
