Three beautiful gifts....
I received the 3 knives in the mail. Im very pleased with the presentation boxes as these are to be gifts. I haven't used any of these because of the reason I bought them. They seem very nice, super sharp and feel well in hand.

I "Looked" at your knives, you sent me 2!
I "Looked" at your knives, but decided against ordering until I could review customer input. I was then forced to spend 5 days in the hospital and upon my discharge, I found a Package with not 1, but 2 knives. I am, of course asking for a refund, but this is a very poor way of getting customers.

Be extremely careful with the returning and the products…
Be extremely careful with the returning conditions, they are just not acceptable: it is required to keep the original packaging, it is entirely unacceptable. The packaging in question is merely a thin bubble envelope which cannot realistically be opened without tearing it, and which most people would naturally discard immediately. I therefore cannot help but note that the return conditions appear to be structured in such a way that returning any item is effectively impossible, thereby ensuring that no reimbursement ever has to be made. The customer is in any case the looser.
On the cutting board, this is particularly regrettable because, returning to the initial issue, the Matsato advertising claims are misleading. The cutting board is clearly not resistant to scratches as advertised and, as a result, it creates cross-contamination. Over time, this is leading to health hazard and concerns, as particles of metal are incorporated into the food and subsequently ingested.
In addition, regarding the knife, I have observed that the handle has noticeable play with the blade, which suggests a likely deterioration of the knife in the near future and further reinforces my concerns about the overall quality of the products.
In conclusion, this situation about the cutting boards and the knives, has been extremely disappointing. It has significantly undermined my confidence in Matsato and has resulted in a financial loss on my side as return with such system is just not possible in any case it is rejected. Congratulations for this clever system that prevents any return, I guess Matsato had never to refund any customer.
A very disappointed customer.

Not what I was expecting, but it looks good
When the package arrived the box that the knife comes in was crushed on both ends, which is a shame because the box adds a nice presentation to the overall experience. As for the knife itself I believe that it's over hyped for what it is, blade was not that sharp compared to a lot of other kitchens knifes I own and the wood handle was rough to the touch, so much so that the corner actually scratched the palm of my hand as I was putting it back into it's box. I'll probably just put it in the back of my kitchen draw with the other knifes I don't use. It is a pretty looking knife though, to bad it doesn't live up to all the hype on social media
