Overpriced Products and Terrible Service – Avoid!

Title: Overpriced Products and Terrible Service – Avoid!

We have purchased multiple items from Maxima for our business chain, but their service has been nothing but disappointing. Their products are significantly more expensive than competitors—sometimes up to 30% higher! We recently discovered that one of their products is available from a sub-supplier at 30% less, yet they refused to price match.

To make matters worse, the fridge we just received had a dent on the side. We reported it within 10 minutes of delivery, clearly stating that the external packaging was intact, meaning the damage must have occurred before shipping. Despite this, Maxima is trying to avoid responsibility instead of resolving the issue.

If you’re looking for reliable service and fair pricing, I highly recommend choosing another supplier. We certainly will in the future!

HORRIBLE !! just escape from them !

I tought I could trust with company.
But just a shame !!!
Their double FRYER is dangerous. The levels of oil are indicated in 2 different places, but they are not correct !
So if you fill the oil, following the 1st mark, it shows you that there is not enough oil to reach the minimum of the 2nd mark. So you fill more. Result?? Bowling oil splashing all over ! and going into the electronic components. So machine is dead. And they REFUSE to garantee it. OK, I send it to the technical center : yesterday, They sent it back to me.... The button of the temperature, before, was close to the body of the machine. Now it's like 3 cm higher !! So any liquid can now enter the electronic parts without any effort !! A SHAME !!! How do you recruit your technicians???? How can they send back a machine and say "it's ok i'm satisfied with my work". It's a pity I cannot put a picture; i would have done it with so much pleasure!!! Just go away from this company

Nous sommes vraiment désolés que vous ayez eu cette expérience avec notre service.

Nous avons examiné l'élément chauffant que vous avez renvoyé et avons conclu qu'il y a une oxydation à un endroit où cela ne peut pas être causé par un débordement d'huile (bien au-dessus du réservoir). Nous avons également partagé ces photos avec vous. Cette oxydation a probablement été causée par un nettoyage avec beaucoup d’eau.
Concernant le niveau d'huile. Si vous remplissez l'huile entre les lignes min et max, l'huile ne doit pas dépasser ce niveau.

Concernant le bouton légèrement en avant, cela s'est probablement produit pendant l'expédition, nos excuses pour cela. Vous pouvez facilement repousser cela vous-même.

Good prices, bad assistance

Good prices, but they are destroyed by much expensive costs of delivery.
About reparations and warranties: very very bad assistance, they don't consider the item crashed in a few week.

Prompt delivery of a Maxima 7 liter…

Prompt delivery of a Maxima 7 liter mixer on December 13. Since its first use, the device during kneading has a recurring squeaking sound which the technical department's evaluation downgraded. I completely disagree with their response. It is unacceptable for a device that is advertised as quiet to produce such a strong sound and for the technical evaluation to consider it normal. The delivery of a device that proves problematic from its first use requires its immediate replacement.

i need help, someone contact me!

I have bought some products from this company before and everything went amazing. But now i want to resolve a problem that happened with a purchase i made recently and i don´t get a single reply. I bought a planetary mixer that i want to cancel to buy a more expensive one. they told me they will send me the price difference so they can replace the mixer i paid for. But for some reason they send me the full price for the new mixer. And now nobody is answering my emails or phone calls. i´m affraid of them sending me the mixer as i don´t want it. i need help!

Everything went wrong with the vertical…

Everything went wrong with the vertical freezer.
We have a small tavern in the Central part of Portugal (@tavernadesantar) It is always super important to properly administer time and resources.
Recommendation from our experience: Always make the transport company open the box of large equipment before leaving. I did not, and received a vertical freezer in super bad conditions. Although I informed Maxima about a visible, veey beaten and broken part, I did not open all the box, waiting for correct handling to locate it in our tavern.
When I finally opened everything, I was sad to find out that the damage was more than I could imagine. Immediatelly sent pictures.
Since then, I am struggling for MAXIMA to do what should be the logical and proper solution regarding this problem.
I have already lost sales and will lose more. As I already have frozen products inside the freezer, they say I first need to return it to receive a new one.
So I would lose all the frozen products and would not be selling any while I wait for the new one (the tima they write on their sales page is not true...it takes x3 time)
Also, they do not want to pay for the handling of returning the broken freezer (although it works, the light is broken to pieces, many of the internal plastic parts are in pieces and the outside beaten and deformed in several parts). If they had technical support in Portugal, I would keep the freezer but they do not have any!!!
Also they wont respond for the handling of re-locating the new one. I had to pay 3 people to handle it with care. That is why I did not open all the freezer at once. To protect it. Never ever imágenes the bad state of the freezer.
So, I am suppossed to lose a minimum of 1,500 euros in products and lost sales and 200 euros for handling.

I hope MAXIMA understands and responds considering all these issues and that usually all their customers are bussinesses that cannot afford closing and losing products, sales and time. Specially in Christmas and New Year!

Our data shows that we have already been in contact about this. Our logistics department offered a discount at the time, together with the necessary spare parts to replace the defective parts. In addition, an exchange of the entire machine was also offered.

We fully understand that you opted for the discount on the article at the time, given the fact that you could not do without the freezer. This is an option that we often offer in these types of situations. Due to the distance of the delivery, this was a practical solution for you. The parts and the compensation were then processed and sent to you.

We later received a new message from you stating that the machine did not work properly after "turning it on" and that in this case you wished to exchange it. This is of course still possible. Colleagues have already sent you an e-mail about this with further details.

It is important to note that the previously awarded compensation must be refunded, as in that case we will proceed with a 1-on-1 exchange. However, we first pick up the defective equipment at your address, once the defective equipment arrives at our warehouse we will send you the new freezer.

We have not yet received a response to the previously sent email, which means we have not yet been able to continue this process.

We would like to receive your response to the previously sent email, so that we can pick this up for you and initiate the next steps.

Unfortunately, we cannot change the shipping time, as this is done via the logistics process and the travel time depends on the transport planning.
We hope to hear from you soon, so that we can handle this further.
