My experience with Maxtra Technologies – Taxi App Development Project

In May 2024, I hired Maxtra Technologies to develop a taxi booking mobile app. The project agreement stated that the software would be completed within 120 days. I made the first payment through PayPal to start the development.

Initially, Maxtra Technologies sent a demo link and claimed development had started. Shortly after, I was pressured to make the second payment, with the explanation that work could not continue unless the payment milestone was completed.

After the final payment was made, progress became extremely slow and communication became difficult. Over the following months, and eventually years, there was continuous back-and-forth with little meaningful development progress.

Maxtra Technologies later claimed the project had been delivered and that FTP hosting and source code had been uploaded. However, key functionality was still missing, including the payment integration for the taxi app. Despite these incomplete features, I was repeatedly pressured to sign off on the project so they could finalize delivery.

Due to these issues, I opened a PayPal dispute. After the dispute was filed, the company suddenly became very responsive and requested that I close the PayPal case. It is important for other clients to know that once a PayPal dispute is closed, it cannot be reopened.

I am sharing this experience so that anyone considering Maxtra Technologies for taxi app development, MLM software development, or other IT development services conducts careful research, verifies references independently, and uses secure milestone payments before proceeding.

My recommendation is DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MAXTRA TECHNOLOGIES

They took $1500 from me to build an application, but they were unable to deliver it. We followed up several times, and now they are not responding anymore. Friends, do not work with this company because they lack the capability to complete the work, and once they take your money, they will stop responding.

They were supposed to develop an Uber like App. The App was a disaster. It was not ringing to drivers. It kept on searching and searching for the driver. It had no payment functionality. All they are good at, is getting money from you. I asked them to give me my source codes so that I can hire another company. They refused and eventually demanded that I pay them $1000 to release source codes, that's holding me to ransom. I want to put screenshot of my communication with them, but this platform doesn't provide for such. The App was not available on Huawei and Apple, they know nothing

Fist they require a down payment through PayPal . Working on the software and start with the branding at their surfer. They providing the link from their surfer so you can review. At the sudden they say now the 2 nd payment is now required and they start pushing telling you we need the 2 nd payment in order to proceed. As soon payment has been made.

More changes maybe required by the client at the sudden they sending a document which needs to be signed by the client . It stats they have delivered the software the work and ftp hosting has been delivered and uploaded to the client as well software code.

By fact. By our testing we said we provided you the hosting credentials and we are not able to sign the confirmation has we haven’t received anything .
Note we paid 2 payments already of each $ 500.

After days of back forth, and receiving massive pressure they always said just sign and we are going to upload the software. We decided to race a case at PayPal.

Gues what happen next .

They came back a guy called Tushar with the following number out from India +918744075752 started to come up please close the case at PayPal and we are going to upload the software immediately at your server. We can’t do before your are not closing the case.

Here comes the trap .

As soon you would follow his instructions they would go dark because if you are going to close a case at PayPal , you can’t re-open the case again.

We offered them just to upload the software respond to PayPal and the case is closed.

So either way , if your going sign the confirmation letter which they try to force to sign . They will go dark, as soon you race a case on Upwork or PayPal the would just submit the confirmation letter you signed.

We believe there are many victims scammed also integrates to app development’s.

Stay away from this scammers.
