With a heavy heart that I must post disappointment in m b caravans of dunstable. I bought hobby 720 qmc on the 7th March this year. Two weeks ago the heating stopped working with e507 code , which I have found out that it is gas flow to the boiler. I have text and phoned martin six times trying to get through to him !! He is even ignoring my phone number or he doesn't believe in honoring any warranty on a caravan that cost 28.000. So potentially if you are considering buying a caravan from M B Caravans DON'T. I have had the van repaired now at my own cost . It was a faulty valve on the bulkhead of the caravan.

I bought my caravan coming up to three years ago. Brand new. Delivered to my home. Perfect, or so I thought
After care was awful. The guy is a cad. I had a snag list of issues, plus I had a major internal door that was coming off the track. There was a design fault. The kitchen units were all out of line and the central heating pipes were squashed behind the kitchen units and couldn’t be used as they were damaged. He failed to respond to any of my emails. I had one or two responses from one of his part time occasional work colleagues who felt his hands were tied as Martin/Patrick Berry were only the ones able to make the decision. I ended up having to pay out £900 for a new internal door myself. Once he was your cash he isn’t interested in helping. Oh and he isn’t an official Hobby Dealership. After going to Hobby Direct they couldn’t help me.
Please, please please DO NOT buy any caravans from this person. It’s not worth the money. Go to a reputable dealership. There are some official Hobby dealerships in the UK.

After being let down by a dealer when trying to buy a new caravan a friend put me in touch with Martin Berry the owner of MB Caravans, Dunstable. I am so glad he did. Martin is a true gentleman. Yes such a person still exists! He makes time for you and he is very patient. He understands that buying a caravan is a big decision. His knowledge of the caravan business is second to none and if he can’t answer a question he has a team around him that can. No bull – just the honest truth. He supplied me with a brand new (LMC) Lord Brilliant 700 at a fair price and he bent over backwards to have it delivered to my seasonal pitch at short notice and in time for the May Bank Holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending MB Caravans and I would give him 10 stars if I could. Just pick up the phone and speak to him and you’ll see what I mean.
