Once you receive the report we provide an aftercare which will provide the builder with relevant information to elaborate on the defects mentioned. We look forward to assisting you with your property inspection needs. We provide a report containing photos with a description to help illustrate the defects. Thermal imagery is also included (depending on the time of year*) the radiators are also checked that they are heating correctly. Defects from decoration to a thorough roof inspection, if it's there we will find it to help you have peace of mind. Our inspectors hold relevant qualifications and have experience such as contract managers in the industry, also having the backing of the industry bodies, staying up to date with the industry standards/ building regulations and good practices.
I instructed Matthew to go snag my new home prior to completion, communication with Mat was easy and straightforward from the get go. Matthew was recommended to us by our friends, and we could tell why. Matthew helped us with snagging our new build home in early April this year. He spent around 3-4 hours outside and inside of the house. He used drone inspections and thermal imaging to find issues which would otherwise be overlooked. He has good knowledge of NHBC guidelines as well as general good building practices, which not only helped us find a lot of snags but to push for one of the fixes we wanted from our builder. He was also available after more than a month from the inspection for a telephonic consultation on one of the snags. I recommend him highly!
