Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 35 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, noting a significant decline in quality. Customers frequently mentioned issues such as hard, inedible pieces, powdery texture, and a lack of taste, leading many to discard their purchases and switch to alternative brands. I love these french fries as much as my two kids do! I do them in the air fryer and just ketchup and they are so dang good. I'm actually going to try and make either a chili cheese fry or try and make an animal style in n out with them next. I advise anyone to try these fries, you will eat them all of your kids don't.

So disappointed.....

I did my online shopping at Coles Bateau Bay NSW. I usually buy 8 Macain frozen meals because I'm on my own now and in 10 years have always enjoyed them. I had delivered a Ham and Pineapple Pizza I haven"t had one for years, cut it in half and it was like eating cardboard it had no flavour whatsoever I mean it had No flavour. 9 310174002528 is the number on the box ..I was so disappointed never again.

Appalling response to query

Purchased chilled fries to go and decided to freeze them without checking the package. As they sell same product but frozen, assumed it would be OK. Decided to defrost them and read that they are not suitable for home freezing. Contacted McCain and asked if they
were safe to eat. Replied they would not recommend due to quality. Asked again if safe to eat. Reply. Cannot guarantee the quality. No mention of safe to eat or not. An appalling response from a major food supplier. Surely they can answer simple question or are they avoiding the issue? Would never buy McCain products again. Do not know why they are so popular given the 1 star review rating!!

McCain Baby Beans

McCain Baby Beans. The packet advertises Premium Baby Vegetables. The packet I purchased contained mostly small broken pieces of the vegetable. I would not purchase this "premium" product ever again.

Disgusting McCain oven chips

What has happened to McCain oven chips. My favourite frozen oven chips now taste like cardboard. Utterly disgusting. I now have to find another manufacturer as I won’t be stocking my freezer with McCain oven chips any time soon.

McCain Air Fryer Chips - Ugh

Usually use normal oven chips in my air fryer but bought these as they were on offer. Cooked according to instructions. They were dry, had no flavour even with salt on them they were disgusting. Going straight in the bin. My advice - don't bother, even if on offer. Gimmick & a waste of money.

Bought a bag of crinkle cut fries

Bought a bag of crinkle cut fries, I certainly wouldn't call these fries, more like tiny end cuts, more than half the bag was bits and pieces. Never again, Walmart brand fries are way better, actual whole fries not floor sweepings.

Quality is inconsistent and laughable

Quality is inconsistent and laughable. McCains diced hashbrowns are a joke. They should be called potato niblets because they look like crumbs from a chip bag. They're so small they fall through the grates of an airfryer and are only edible by scooping them up with a spoon because they're so small. They just taste like crunch. So sad considering they're the only thing the grocery store seems to sell nowadays.
