Worst McDonald’s experience ever – avoid this location!

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this McDonald’s in Amsterdam.

The fries were soggy, tasteless, and clearly undercooked. The place was dirty, especially the bathrooms — one of us couldn’t even use them due to the terrible hygiene conditions. To make things worse, we were charged €0.70 for a single straw, with no prior notice, no visible pricing, and no explanation whatsoever. This hidden surcharge is dishonest and unacceptable.

We submitted a formal written complaint to McDonald’s Nederland. They completely ignored it — no reply, no apology, no refund. Just silence. This shows total disrespect toward customers.

This is not just poor service — it’s an unfair commercial practice that violates consumer protection laws. Since McDonald’s Netherlands failed to respond, the case will now proceed through the appropriate legal and consumer protection channels at both national and EU level.

For a global brand like McDonald’s, this level of negligence is shocking. Avoid this location entirely — they clearly do not care about food quality, hygiene, or customer rights.

horrible service

horrible service, the service is slow and when I get served, the employee gives me 100 pickles. I didn't order that. the staff is straight up rude.

Good tasty food

Good tasty food, unhealthy and very expensive... fix the prices and portions please! Maybe become more healthy too, fix the menu!
