Absolutely terrible app to use

Absolutely terrible app to use. Constantly freezes, some options like "Add to bag" does not work. Half the time I order through the app for delivery my order can often take hours because of no driver's?? Why let me order delivery in the first place.. just one big mess of an app. You'd think with such a big brand they would have a half decent app. Burger king can produce better 🤣

I ordered 3 meals 1 of the quarter…

I ordered 3 meals 1 of the quarter pounder meals i said no cheese 3 times. Instead of leaving the cheese off they left everything else off and left the cheese on. Im allergic to dairy so my tea ruined. I called them direct 4 times and all 4 times I got cut off every time after waiting. I tried to complain on the app but all I got was a machine telling me I was few hundred miles away even though gave them the lye location B63 2RG kept saying i was too far away and it started all over again. Very frustrating. No wonder i gave up going as about a year ago it happened then only went today to treat granddaughters.

Not worth the bother

What's the difference between a correct McDonald's delivery and the loch Ness monster? The answer is that some people have actually seen the loch Ness monster. Hands up if you've actually ever had a correct McDonald's delivery. Items usually missing. Contact the store and they tell you to contact the delivery service. Go on to the app and try and upload your receipt because it helps them and they don't allow you to do that and then they try to find your location and that doesn't work either. There should be a button on the app for instant access to a customer service person who can refund you. The whole system is bloody useless

Incompetence by design

The app seems to work mediocrely at my house however when I get near the store it completely loses all functionality. Won't load properly, won't let me sign in, won't function in a useful manner. It's weaponized incompetence because this isn't happening with my Taco Bell, Subway, or Carl's Jr apps, just McDonalds. I've left McDonalds three times in the last 10 days to go spend my money at In n Out because of the app failure. McDonalds clearly hates money.

App is simple and engaging to use with…

App is simple and engaging to use with relative ease however you gota spend so much to get little points back from a multi billion pound company that capitalises on cheap takeaway produce. I gota keep using it as a regular, though I will reduce going more, to Macdonald's but management can give better points rewards surely.

I'll never using that app for delivery

The all app it's one joke. Today I made order, usually I trying to not do that because always missing something from the order and I want to check before take my order to at home. But today I did it. I order from the McDonald's app and my order didn't arrive. When I opened the app I saw is ready delivered 5 minutes ago from UBER to the wrong address.
I saw some picture with some clock on the wall. Definitely that isn't my house.
The biggest problem come when i tried to resolve that issue. YOU CAN'T!!! Nobody can't. I tried to contact McDonald's i went there but nothing they can do. The all problem is 1 time if you see your order you can't go back to see the uber details. From the app you see only how they did there job well and order is ready in the past. When try to contact someone they want order number , you can't see that number. You can find UBER number but again it's send you to the app and there want order number and again and again I been in one circle for wasting my time and money.
I'LL NEVER USE THAT APP FOR DELIVERY!

The location off of 242 in conroe 77385 had me waiting more than 10m for a breakfast sandwich and I ordered via mobile. I order mobile so it can be ready when I'm there so I won't have to wait much time. I'm a driver so time is precious to me. I talked to the owner who was there and she said she would talk to them but I didn't feel convinced and I felt like she was in her own thoughts and was trying to brush me off. This McDonald's have to be out of there minds to expect paying customers to wait long for food. They will spend their money else where. So this is unacceptable. Bad business practice.

Absolutely appalled by the service I…

Absolutely appalled by the service I have just received on the McDonalds app just ordered my son and I a meal and when it got delivered it was delivered in a Sainsbury’s bag not an insulated bag the food was cold ! When I complained to customer service I was told after looking into this it was delivered in the time slot and will not be getting a refund even tho it was delivered in a Sainsbury’s bag and not the proper delivery bag that is insulated I have proof of the messages that was sent and even more disgusting is that she agreed that not putting the food in a proper insulated bag would have an effect on temperature I still would not be getting a refund as it was delivered in the time slot !!!!! It was delivered by uber

AWFUL

AWFUL! Honestly I have used my app a fair few times recently when I input my address it appears 5 roads away from me. The driver won’t bring it and will say oh it’mcndonalds and they say vice versa. I would actually love trust pilot or someone to look into this because the customer service is clearly horrendous. But McDonald’s try to keep you with points which actually then give you free stuff but is amounts to nothing because they actually end up paying more?? And then there is no one to contact when it goes wrong. Basically use uber or Deliveroo. It is not worth it.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I ordered food using the app, I was waiting for food over 1.30 min. And nearly after 2 hours my order was cancelled. Ridiculos. Now I have to wait around 15 days for refund. If dont oay me back after 15 days contact with MC Donald. Terrible

App will steal from you account

Ordered a delivery £26.03 they have took 4 separate payments of same amount app live chat is useless telling me contact Uber but it's not Uber who took payments it's McDonald's now I need wait until Monday until it clears ask my bank clear it will be deleting app!!! Over £100 took from by account.

Never order off the McDonald’s App

I am working nights for the NHS so I ordered off the McDonald’s app for myself and my family. I used my NHS 20% discount. They took the payment and my order was cancelled before they even accepted it at the restaurant. I’m now down £48.96. The customer service electronic assistant is useless and very frustrating as it is not tailored to individual needs. I called the restaurant and they were very dismissive and just said it was not their problem as I ordered on the app. Do not order from McDonalds using the App. They will scam you.

I arrived at McDonald’s in Walkden…

I arrived at McDonald’s in Walkden yesterday lunchtime to place an order. The app was so glitchy I had to manually input the code. When I sat at the table to await the arrival of my order I noticed that my previously earned rewards had vanished from my account. The staff didn’t want to know referring me to the online help. What an absolute joke I simply went round and round with no answer given.

The app won't go to my payment method…

The app won't go to my payment method so I can change it. I have tried everything they told me to try with no success. This is the worst app I have ever tried to use.
I know the corporation has heard of thousands of problems experienced by users, but apparently just don't care enough to fix it.
