We are a small Plumbing and Heating company, we take pride in doing the job properly and delivering what customers want. We are Gas Safe, Oftec and MCS registered, so our primary work is heating but also carry out repairs for the smaller plumbing jobs and Bathroom installations. We are installing a lot of high quality Heat pump systems now and are very proud to be able to deliver this service and can also obtain the Government Grant for customers through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.

Fast response and helpful
Came back quickly to fix an issue after first time fix didn't work. This was not a straight forward problem as it was not 100% clear what was happening. It is now fixed. This involved removing a tile from the bath which was done with care which was much appreciated to save further cost. Will use again.

We had a number of radiators changed and a larger hot water tank fitted as well as changing our hot water system to mains pressure fed. The work was carried out while we were away on a break. The work was carried out professionally and to a high standard. Everything was completed on our return and you would hardly know that anyone had been in our house. The work had been undertaken with great respect with everything being left clean and tidy. Thank you Matt and your guys!

Emergency call out - efficient & fair
I’ve used Mcghies several times over the last 10yrs in relation to my oil fired heating boiler. They have always been reliable, trustworthy and fairly priced.
Recently after coming home from 5days away over new year, I found the boiler failed to ignite and the house around 5deg. Matty was onsite within an hour of my call and replaced a capacitor on the motor within the hour. The bill was fair to be honest.
Can’t recommend them enough.

I fully recommend this company
I contacted them with an urgent need to mill an existing concrete floor for the laying of underfloor heating pipes. They understood the situation and everything to accommodate me the following week. On the day, the job went perfectly, no mess, and the contractors were communicative and helpful. I would use them again.
