Good morning, Mr Anderson.
Thank you for your valued feedback. We will take your comments into consideration to improve our processes and future customer satisfaction levels.
We are sorry you are unhappy with our service; you feel we have misunderstood the requirements regarding your scope of works, and our budget cost guidance was higher than you had anticipated.
After our initial call to discuss your needs, property location, construction methods and age, we reviewed your Architectural and Structural drawings before issuing a likely cost for the works. Your initial estimate including for a full Kitchen and Utility renovation, including structural steelwork, replacement of all services, structural masonry works, full Plastering, decoration, and cleaning. This budget cost information is normally provided to clients at the early stage of their planning to help them decide how best to proceed, and if they would like us to come and carry out a site survey before issuing a fixed price quote.
Normally if there is a query regarding probable costs or what work has been allowed for, I would call potential customers to discuss. Your email and review make it clear you wish to receive no further communication, so on this occasion regrettably we cannot make contact, discuss what has been misunderstood, and rectify. If you wish to contact us, please do so anytime day or night. Please use the email address or phone number you already have – I would be delighted to find a resolution for you.
Thank you for pointing out that this review is not a complaint about the quality of work or the service you have received during a construction project. The team at MCK have always strived to delight our clients over the last 13 years and we are disappointed that we have not managed on this occasion.
Hopefully any potential genuine customers will be pragmatic when considering this one isolated occasion of poor service, and will review our many unsolicited testimonials, reviews, and national awards online when deciding which Contractor to contact to guide them through their home improvement projects.
Best regards for the future and good luck with your project.
Tom
