This is a scam company

This is a scam company. They sign random people up for their "medical surveys" and in order to get off their mailing list, you have to make an account. They don't have a customer service department so all emails you send trying to get yourself off the list will be ignored. They will not pay you. Don't waste your time.

Do not sign up to this company

Do not sign up to this company. They advertise themselves on professional job websites as a way to earn money by completing medical surveys. I have been signed up to them for a year or so. They send you constant spam emails to sign up to surveys and access your rewards when they do not give you the opportunity to do so and their website and appt is completely broken. I have sent repeated emails about this, I get a reply saying they will be actioning the issue with urgency but of course I don't hear anything back. All I want to do is remove my profile from their system but I'm not even able to do that. It's actually a bit of a data protection issue and if they don't respond to my latest email I will be taking further action.

You do the whole survey

You do the whole survey, which could take you 20 minutes and at the end they say if they have enough answers, there's wasted your time and they don't pay you. They have a gazillion qualifying questions. They should know they're gonna eliminate you at the beginning. They're a bunch of fraudsters they take your info. They probably get paid for it and then they rip you off.

Charlatans will waste your time and you won’t get paid

Again as all the other reviews-
I waited over 3 months for last ‘review’ of my very long survey.
I am now waiting over 2 weeks for verification of my most recent survey.
I phoned the number (from the UK so charges went to me) and went right to voicemail saying their Mailbox was full (didn’t even have the company name as greeting) am now waiting on a £40 to make up to my £50 which is the bare minimum they will let you redeem.
Their online customer request/contact us replied ‘error’ on 4 occasions on the same request which is as below:
‘ Hello,

I am still awaiting payment for the following survey, which currently shows as “Pending Approval”:

Date: 26/02/2026
Survey ID: 11910
Survey name: Healthcare survey
Honorarium: £40

As it has now been over two weeks, I would be grateful if you could confirm the status of this payment and when it is expected to be approved.

I have previously experienced delays with payments on this platform, whereas surveys completed with other panels are usually processed promptly, so I would appreciate an update as soon as possible.

Many thanks’
I don’t expect to ever see this money.

Not worth the time

Not possible to redeem honorarium if it is less then 50€. There are during a year several questionnaires that you fill out, but never "qualify" at the end.
So you never make it to 50€. Then after a year the oldest honorarium expires.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. They take forever to pay you for your service, and thats if you ever actually even see the payment. i did a pretest interview with a moderator worth $165 and they have completely ghosted me and never paid. No one even responds to my numerous inquiries regarding payment. Dont waste your time. This business needs to be investigated and closed down.

SCAM. They don’t pay you

I used their platform and spent a long time doing surveys. They never pay. I would complete surveys and then after completion they would get flagged for “quality review” and I received no compensation. I escalated this up to their customer service and they just sent me generic responses and would close my ticket before asking me if they fixed the issues. They would find every excuse not to pay. I would not recommend this company. Use Sermo instead. They actually pay health care providers for their time.

Same as all the other complaints

Same as all the other complaints, this company is extremely shady. Like everyone else, I spend time taking medical surveys and the company finds every excuse to not pay. The last thing that happened was I inquired about a survey I completed, titled "Medical Reversal- When Guidelines Change". I waited the 6 weeks they tell you to wait for the honorarium, and they never credited me. So I inquired about it in email, and they responded that "that particular campaign was conducted solely to collect information and was classified as a non-payment survey, meaning it was not associated with any honorarium. As a result, it has been removed from the "under review" status, and no credits were issued for participation." However, I still had the email that listed the name of the survey, and the ID number. They actually *changed* the name of the survey AND they changed the survey ID number to get out of paying it. I wrote back to "customer service" and called them out on their LIE and shady business practices. I want them to let me redeem my $20 that I have earned, and close my account, as I will never spend my valuable time with this company again, and I will warn everyone else to stay away. I filed a complaint with the BBB, as many others have done.

Absolute scam! AVOID

Rarely any survey, they don't pay for most surveys under false pretences, you can't withdraw under 50$, I'm waiting 6 months now for may payment and then they send emails that your credits will expire if not redeemed... Absolute scam - avoid!

Absolutely a waste of time

Absolutely a waste of time. 95% of surveys I do not meet the requirement, but you do not usually find this out until you have already answered some of the questions, then you are repeatedly messaged day after day about the same survey that you are not suitable for. I finally did meet the requirement today, spent 30 minutes going through, answering very detailed questions, only to not be paid at the end of it. Absolutely disgusting to treat busy medical staff in this way.

Absolutely unethical website

Title: Repeated Non-Payment and Unreliable Practices – Avoid This Company

I’m a licensed physician who has participated in multiple surveys with MD for lives over the past few years. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been overwhelmingly negative.

Out of several surveys I completed—often with detailed responses and time investment—I was only paid once, about four years ago, and that was just $50 of the $200 I was owed. Since then, despite completing additional surveys and following all required procedures, I have received no compensation whatsoever.

Communication with the company is equally poor. Support emails are rarely answered, and when they are, the responses are vague and unhelpful.

It’s disappointing to see a company that targets healthcare professionals operate in such a dishonest and unprofessional manner. Based on my experience, I strongly advise other physicians and medical professionals to stay away from MDforLives.

This is not a reliable and ethical website
