Karen is an incredible conveyancer!

In a nutshell, Karen is an absolute superstar at what she does 🤩 I honestly can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me throughout my LONG property journey (7 years!) - Karen looked after the purchase of my apartment in November, but this was actually the third time I worked with her, after two previous purchases fell through (2020 due to the covid mess and another last April).

During the April purchase, the sale collapsed after 9 weeks due to the sellers and estate agent not having the required documents - a situation completely outside of Karen’s control. Despite that, she still went above and beyond to try and move things along for me, stepping far outside her remit and doing absolutely everything she could to get the sale over the line. Her dedication, persistence, and genuine care during such a frustrating and disappointing time meant more to me than she probably realises.

When it came to my (FINALLY) successful apartment purchase in November, Karen was once again incredible from start to finish. She was proactive, meticulous(!), and always one step ahead, while also being so approachable and patient with my never-ending list of questions 😅 Her communication was excellent - clear, prompt, and reassuring, and she took the time to explain everything in a way that made the process feel far less daunting.

What really sets Karen apart is how much she genuinely cares. Buying a home is one of the biggest milestones in life, and Karen truly understands that - you feel it in every interaction with her. She treats you like a person, not just a file, and that makes such a huge difference.

I genuinely can’t rate Karen or the team at M D O’Loughlin Solicitors highly enough (shout out to Norma who was always so lovely when I called 😊). Karen, please never change careers because you are exceptional at what you do and so many people are lucky to have you in their corner.

If you’re buying a property and want someone who will fight for you, guide you, and truly have your best interests at heart, do yourself a massive favour and go with Karen. A million thank yous, Karen 💜

Untrustworthy Solicitor

Used Mr O’Loughlin Solicitors to conduct the conveyancing on a property purchase in 2018. Conveyancing completed without issue, however O loughlin submitted the application to the PRA and it was rejected with Admin errors. He failed to resubmit an application after repeated chase ups. He repeatedly lied to me stating that the PRA was the reason for the delay. It was not until May 2023 after I made a formal complaint to the LSRA that an application was submitted.
He was found guilty by the LSRA of providing unsatisfactory service and I was awarded €1000. My deeds i subsequently received.
A Misconduct Committee also found that he failed in his duties and ordered he take remedial customer care courses.
In my opinion he is a lying, untrustworthy, arrogant and deceitful solicitor.
I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole
