ME-GR is both immoral and unethical in their business. I will go as far as to say they are professional scammers.

We generated a 'free' QR from them. We went through their site and it reflected it as free. However they sneaked this 'All QR Codes with Ads' all the way at the bottom of the pricing.

We didn't realise this at first when we did numerous tests on their QR code over a few days. It was fine without ads. After one week, when we had delivered our marketing materials with our ME-QR codes in it to our client, and after our client had already shared the QR in their marketing materials to their partners, the ad-pop ups started showing.

These were not small ads but FULL SCREEN Ads covering the mobile screen. I have to click on a button at the bottom to be directed to the actual site. Ads is one thing, but to cover the entire screen and to embarrass the users and holding them ransom and leaving them with no choice but to pay for it is really disgusting!

There are numerous negative reviews here on ME-QR with low rating expressing disgust in the way they run their business. For all those reviews, ME-QR's reply is 'We already have that in our pricing' and as such the absolve themselves of any responsibility. This is what they will reply to this as well as could be observed from their response pattern.

If they know this is a problem, wouldn't they update their site to reflect it clearly upfront? The worst and disgusting part of it is to not show ads when we first use it and add that later, and a large ad covering the page!! -- FORCING users to pay for their subscription -- this is simply unethical!

I am rather shocked by how many positive reviews they have. However, I believe most of them are fake reviews as I noticed most cover customer service and hardly about the product, features or function.

Furthermore, it is very evident they are buying positive reviews as could be observed by the exact same review being provided by 2 different people. Case in point being the review on 3rd April 2024 where the same review 'The experience was nice. Got knowledge about first aids' was shared with 5-stars by 2 different users (I am sure they will remove these reviews by the time anyone reads this). Moreover, what has this tool has to do with 'first aid' -- this shows these are rubbish comments.

This simply reflects that they will just buy positive reviews to drown the genuine negative reviews.

Prompt service. I had opened 2 accounts, one free and one paid and hadn't realized. I went into the free account and noticed all my QR codes were missing!! I had saved them to my computer but they were not in the me-qr system to track them (so I thought). I immediately went to the chat to see if I could upload them back in somehow. I was helped right away! They moved all my QR codes to the correct account without any issue.

Biggest pile of nonsense I've ever seen.
Hyped by influencers (because of the referral program), it generates QR Codes that leads people NOT to a link, but to me-qr, where they have to see a AD, then have to click to see the link you are trying to link to.

NOT FREE. The ads are awful. When you scan it takes you to add a page instead of your URL and it does not auto-transfer the page to the URL. You have to click on the invisible button. This service is not worth it. It's expensive and free QR codes are with ads.

Unethical Practice of baiting customers in under the pretext of offering the QR codes as free and then fill the screen with their Ad once the QR code is scanned. It also doesn't show up initially as well and, as such, tricking users into getting it and getting stuck -- thus forcing them to pay for the subscription and keep paying it as long as the QR code is used.

Yes, they did write a note that the free version has ads, but average user wouldn't have guessed they would go to that extent, considering there are other platforms offering the static QR codes for free.
