Very quick response to questions. Information given is 5* selection and prices 5* but one drawback is that you have to bulk buy . To make it worthwhile for 1 or 2 persons I will fill my freezer when it next empties. Joy

Customer care very efficient and helpful
My delivery was delivered to the wrong address by the courier who were not very helpful if im honest but as soon as I contacted meat supermarket customer care they sorted it out with no fuss whatsoever and will send me a replacement delivery on the new date I requested. Thank you for your efficient friendly response!

Disappointed
Tbh, a little disappointed with the caveman steaks. Cut them in half and fried in butter (we like our steak rare). The taste was ok, but there was so much sinew in them, we had to give what we couldn’t eat to the dog! Delivery was good. We will try the rump steaks later.

A proper Father’s Day centrepiece
Ordered the Tomahawk for Father’s Day and it was excellent. Beautifully cut, well-trimmed, generously marbled and exactly the sort of steak you want when you are making a bit of an occasion of it.
We dry-salted it overnight, reverse-seared it slowly, then finished it hard and fast, and it came out tender, juicy and full of flavour. It fed a small gathering very happily and felt considerably better than the usual supermarket offering.
Delivery was straightforward, the meat arrived well packed and in good condition, and the quality matched the photographs and description. Will happily order again for a proper barbecue or family meal.

Absolute disgrace I’m afraid to say. The parcel arrived in a most unacceptable state. Totally soggy, battered and bashed about. The immediate response of meat supermarket,
“If this ever happens again, please refuse the delivery if you're able to.”
From my perspective it is most unlikely to happen again for one very obvious reason.

This is absolutely not how our orders should arrive, and I completely understand your frustration. As a long-standing customer, you’ll know we take a lot of care in how we pack and despatch our products, so it’s very disappointing to see it has been so badly handled in transit.
From what you’ve described, this does appear to be courier damage during delivery rather than anything at the packing stage. Unfortunately, once parcels are with the courier, we have no control over how they are handled in the network, but that said, it’s still not the experience we expect for our customers.
