Very unsatisfied with the app at first everything is normal but now i recorded a clip i cant find it in the folder and cant delete clip i keep click delete nothing happen
And it's making me mad
Repair mode do nothing and happen for weeks now

Like 3 times, Something amazing happened just for me to check a few minutes later and the clip is GONE. NO TRACE, this started happening recently and it's just pure bs, considering moving back to outplayed

I submitted a ticket to request the addition of an old game from my childhood, and it was added in a few days (it would have been even faster if I remembered I'm supposed to reply to the emails I get :D ).

A very useful application

Very helpful staff, responded quickly. Overall I've had a decent experience with Medal bar some minor issues here and there.

Worked fine but could not uninstall. When I went to uninstall it, it just removed it's uninstaller, then continued opening itself on reboot. Also uses Electron which mean it opens a whole browser in the background. I just used OBS and Replay Buffer instead.

Medal is an amazing app which allows you to save, save and post your best moment with whit your friends (i wich i add more) it also have a veary supportive support team that help me solve problem i could't solve by my self!

I've been using Medal to record my gameplay for going on over 2 years, I use it for long form recordings mostly of Arma 3 operations in Mil-Sim units for Warhammer 40k communities. Recently I had a bug begin plaguing me causing recordings to not appear in my library but would appear in my clips folder for Medal. I contacted support and with their guidance we happened upon a solution and they even comped me a week of Premium without a second thought. I greatly appreciate their solution to my issue as well as their quick and quaint responses.

a great balance between recording and social features

i love this app. it's extremely to use, with few bugs there and then it's never been a dissapointment. i've joined their QA team recently and it's been even better to work alongside them

the customer support is kind and patient, their moderation is sweet and the medal team is one of the kindest people i've ever come across.

I've been using this app since December 1, 2024, which was my birthday.

I'll list everything wrong with this app based on my experience of using it for a year, and why I recommend against using it or buying anything from them.

1: Medal will force you to use your main storage to store your videos (C:\Medal\) instead of using an external storage. For example, I want to use my external storage for storing videos (D:\Medal), but even if the storage isn't close to being full, it'll switch back to the C drive out of nowhere.

2: Requires an account to use Medal. Yeah, sure, you need an account to upload content, but why do I need one to use the app? I'll update this part when I find a recording app that doesn't require an account.

3: Medal is one of those places where they associate the heck out of Fortnite and Among Us. I would rather not use or support platforms that support this new-gen brain-rotting garbage. To the people who think this isn't a problem, including those who think the Roblox Team is doing the best updates ever, I hope you accidentally stub your toe on a rusty nail and get tetanus.

4: Keep auto-upload off if you haven't already. Go to settings (gear icon), under 'Cloud & Storage', go to uploads, then check 'Never' so Medal won't auto-upload videos to their server. I'm telling you right now, keep auto-upload on and save a clip that contains any form of content that breaks Medal's community guidelines will kill your account almost immediately. I was banned until August 3 for not knowing I had this setting on the whole time, and now I'm permanently banned for submitting a ban appeal regarding this issue. The moderators just want to kill people off their platform because they think they own the world instead of giving a simple solution.

Until the Medal moderators reinstate my account, I will be using a different app better than this garbage, or I can just use OBS.

It is really good clipping software + a support team that responds immediately

I have been using medal for about two years now, it is a great program with an awesome community. Specifically as well, any time I have had errors or bugs, they are quick to respond (usually within 24h) and they do not let it go until it is solved. Great company as far as a I can tell.

Great customer support, and Medal is just very useful to capture clips of your games.

As the title suggest it is an excellent app for recording your games. Im using the session recording and i havent seen any notable fps drops,and i dont even have that crazy of a pc. Anyways the recording itself is good, clipping is nice, editor is often overlooked by me too, but its nice to use when shortering clip length. The customer service is awesome they reply quick and solve problems in no time. I dont really knwo why people drop so many 1 star reviews, clearly hating because of one thing that they didnt like. To be fair i dont even notice the ads on the desktop app i just go to album to review my clips. It gives them money and i just live with it, its fine. So yeah i mostly didnt have any problems with the app and i recommend it when looking for gaming recording software. ;)

I started using Medal years ago, clipping a variety of games. Simple and lightweight ones, to ones that'd force my PC to work harder. In the start, my PC was genuinely terrible. Yet, I never once had an issue with Medal that'd affect the quality of my games AND clips. Even if on paper, an app recording your screen 24/7 until you ask it to take a snippet out, seems that it'd be extremely heavy to use, I found out that it really wasnt.

Do I know how it isn't? No. Do I like it? Very much.

Note: I don't know what 'Date of experience' means. My first clip goes back to 17 jan of 2024, and I can't select it.

auto clipping doesnt work anymore for weeks, I tried everything possible, I doesnt work

Everything is acceptable except for the editing, it is HORRIBLE, you cannot revert mistakes in the video for example if you cut somewhere you didn't mean to, it is irreversable, the only thing you can do is to restart the whole procedure FROM START.
