I purchased 2 laptops and 1 coffee machine from Media Markt. I never had any issues.

Regarding laptops, Media Market's price can be some 50€ or 100€ less, for "intermediate" laptops. But... not always.

Ordered a TV which was never dispatched. I was then contacted to say that they wanted to send me a used ex-demo TV instead as they had run out of stock. I queried how much a used one was and was astonished for them to state it would be the same price as a new one. ex-demo TVs are left on all day every day so have had the equivalent of many years worth of standard use. They stated the price was fixed and there is nothing they would do about it. When I looked around I found that another company was selling a newer model for cheaper so I sent Media Market the link asking why they were trying to sell me a used TV for more than what I could buy it new. They didn't even answer the question and responded b by sending me some links to two other TVs that were not only twice the price of the one I ordered but looking online most other places were selling the same models cheaper!

Considered buying 2 aircondicioners 599€ each, installation costs 219€ for each unit! That is almost the cost of one unit. The income of certified Portuguese installer is up to 9€ is Mediamarkt telling me that an instaler takes 24hrs to make a hole in a wall for the exterior unit and 2 little holes in room wall to hang the inverter plus fill R32 Floride? On top the kit they sell has a hose of 3 meters (totally useless) most places need hoses 5 meters and above, therefore another €s. This indecent unacceptable!

Worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Stay Away!

They sell the same TV for €99 on regular days and €169 on discount/promotion/sales days.

Failed delivery even with multiple calls prior to give them both home number and mobile, they used a cheap courier who has no contact service for clients, meanwhile other services are delivering to us fine.
I will now have to wait 14 days to possibly get refund on 700€ item. Complete incompetence when trying to resolve and get redelivered. I will no longer purchase anything from Media market on principle and shop at their competitor Fnac who has always managed to deliver to us. Terrible company, we learned to shop with Portuguese company instead of this German trash.

I have bought three items. Only one got delivered a week later. Most e-commerce stores deliver your products within two-three days, but MediaMarkt in Portugal takes a long time, and also fail to deliver all products at once. I contacted customer care and they told me the shipping guys committed an error and it would take another week to deliver the missing products. I am not willing to buy any products online from this store again. MediaMarkt online e-commerce is pretty amateur.

Bad client service, do not trust the client. We bought a machine 700€, the machine had 2 problems in 4 months, we waited 2 times more then 1 month to have the visit of a repairer, without being able to use our drying machine. They call center of Ariston call us to say that even if the product as a guarantee they will not come back to repair it, that they never come more then 2 times. In addition to this, we could add that even if we bought the machine in June for a delivery in July, we received it in August (they sold the machine that we first selected in the shop) and we had to wait more 2 weeks to receive it. Can not be worst, 1 star is even too much.
