My mother got scammed.
I don't know how these people got my mothers credit card details, but she has been getting charged 49,95e per month since the summer of last year. I assume it has maybe something to do with a audiobook subscription and maybe a fake login form, but i can't be sure. Anyways, the money is going a company called: [childofmad . club]. Saw some other comment also mentioning this company, so this might be part of some larger scam operation. Just noting this down, if anyone else has a similar experience.
Be careful when paying for parking!
As a previous reviewer stated, I stumbled upon this site while trying to pay for parking. I have no idea how I was re-directed there, but I entered my cc info and then realized afterwards that I wasn't the parking website. I called to cancel my card and noticed a pending charge from a company called fastpucin.net for $1. I know from previous scams, that $1 is always a test before they withdraw the big bucks. A google of fastpucin led me to Medianess so they are somehow connected.
2 fake charges to my account
On my bank statement I found two charges during the month of December by a company identified as Spacagepl.com. I tracked down their phone number and called them. The woman who answered identified her company as a third party billing company managing charges for streaming and dating sites. She found the charges to my bank account in her database and said they were made by a streaming service called Medianess.com. I told her I had never heard of that company and never knowingly subscribed to their service. She said she would cancel my subscription immediately and would refund my money with 3 to 5 business days. I will be watching to make sure that is done. Medianess is an obvious scam and I'm now concerned about how they got my bank information.
Awful
Awful. I’ve been asked for the credit card details, it’s been said it’s just for verification. The billing starts after 5 days free trial unless canceled. I’ve been sent the username via email, been trying to connect on all of my devices without any success. Every time I received “username or password is incorrect”. Support is not responding. Not possible to access the site and cancel the subscription to avoid the 49$ mensuel fee after 5 days free trial. Access completely impossible. I guess I’ve been scammed. Don’t repeat after me
Total Crooks and Cheats.. Stay clear of them
Like other people,, I got caught when downloading a QR app from gammaplay.com, and again they have a subscription with an already ticked box to pay 4.95 at the bottom of the page. Again like other I was charged 1 euro and then a further 1.95 euros but cancelled my card immediately.. Could not unsubscribe... Total Crooks
Medianess are crooks
Medianess are crooks! When you are creating an account to use Duolingo, you must inform your credit card and you are directed to a Medianess page for uploading of card info and IF you do not scroll all the way down (because it is not immediately visible), there is a previously box selected, where you are “subscribing for additional game browser for € 4.95/month”!!!
Total scam
Total scam. They have charged 133€ total in 7 different payments. I have not subscribed to anything. Tried to contact them and they said they will refund but now I know they are fraudulent so I have been told to go to the police and then the bank and visa will proceed to the next step. I will do everything that is in my hands to get my fricking money back!
FRAUDULEUZE MAANDELIJKS DEBET VAN 49,94€ + KOSTEN OP MIJN BANKREKENING !
Hello, my bankaccount has been debited several times from April to September for 49,95€ + bankcosts : Total = 274,97€. This amount is debited by my creditcard, but I do not know 'FASTPUCIN in America", and even not "AMAZONE" who is the real company behind these false monthly debits. I just want to tell them about my complaint and receive an emailaddress for contacting someonhe at AMAZON who can help me. I am now waiting since minutes for a temporary code OTP to get in contact, because they always ask my ACCOUNTNUMBER, but I am not a client, I dit never order or buy something. This is FRAUDE and I want my money back. If no answer I go to the police and my bank to help me ! Has someone an EMAIL-ADDRESS I COULD USE TO ASK MY MONEY BACK ??? Thank in advance. I gave a complete with all documentes as proves that I never had contact with AMAZON, I they can not even find my namen, my emailadress or my phone number ! The fraudulous amount of 49€ is normally a yearly fee for something, but I do not know what, somethings in other reviews I find something as "Premium", what this is or what you could do with this I DO NOT KNOW, and do'nt want is to know anymore. My whole complaint is in hands of my bank BNPPARIBAS, who found out since some months the new bankcard "DEBIT-CARD", which we had to accept after stopping general Bancontactcards. But the new cards are very nice, with the name "VISA" in big letters. Why, what does this mean, Visa is normally "credit", but on this card it is "debit" ??? Als the Belgian Police made up an Official Document, to start the research and trying to get my money back. My card is used dayly for BC-payments, and no more then a few times (or less) for "Creditcardpayments?" to maybe another company, and the card must be copied ore something ! The bank telles something that the 3-digitcode on the backside is important, but what can this mean, if it is printed the card !!! Everybody can read this ! But nobody can know my "secret-card-code". In the meanwhile my code is blocked of course. And I hope a friendly Misses Daphne in the Netherlands will help me solving this problem and repayment of my money.
Scam
Scam. Fraude. They just steal money from the account. In my case, 49€ followed by 1,95€. Only solution was to cancel the bank card.
The way I reached their “site” was when trying to activate my MBWAY: it seemed a legit platform and when I realized it was taking too long to finish, I stoped the action, but it was already too late.
It's an absolute fraud
It's an absolute fraud! They have tried to withdraw immediately 49 euros but my bank stopped the operation.
I have to cancel my card. It's the safest way.
SCAMMM
I´ve tried to cancel the subscription and in my profile it wasn't possible to do that.
When I´ve put the question in the support they just blocked my account, and don´t even let me enter the account in the "free five days trial".
Scammers
Same as most other people who have complained about this so-called company. I was redirected to their website as I downloaded RingGo to pay for my parking! Apparently only charged £0.85, but cancelled my card as realised very quickly the page I had landed on wasn't the correct one. Both my cards came up with a warning before preceding to the payment, but stupidly assumed it was extra security! Always think twice before putting in your card details. And TRUST YOUR BANK! Easier said than done when rushing...

I subscribed to this company while trying to subscribe to Amazon and was charged a total of 49,00€. On their page, they claim a free trial for 5 days but they charged 49€ immediately.
I never agreed to pay any payments in the first place. The screen clearly stated that the card details were only needed for verification purposes.
I sent an email to unsubscribe
Scammed to the site by a QR & Barcode…
Scammed to the site by a QR & Barcode Scanner app on Android, it has ad very deceiving next to original scanned link. I thought I was validating my benefit card with 0.00e payment but instead was charged 49euro right away.
Total scam
Yes, total scam. I am in Spain and scanned a code on a leaflet for Lidl for sign up to their loyalty card scheme. So far they have taken only two payments of 1 Euro and 1.95 from my account. I have cancelled my card and requested a new one.
Technically, I don't understand how all this works but perhaps the big supermarket chains should be warned.
SCAMMED BY MEDIANESS.CO
I scanned a carrefour QR code award & I mistakenly clicked on an icon which had appeared with it, then it led me to medianess.co. I was a bit confused but thought it was probably a partner site. I became suspicious when I was asked for card details but because I trusted Carrefour & felt card details was probably being asked for a reward, I filled the membership details as the details assured of no deductions except for purchases. It thought the card details was just to identify my location.
I became a bit unsettled then decided to check their online reviews. As soon as I checked their, realized they had no association with the carrefour website I was initially visiting and also saw they were not credible, so I immediately sent a mail for cancellation of the membership but no response.
Alas! I got deduction on my card of a purchase of 1.95Euro which of course I didn't make.
Thankfully it was a small amount but I had to cancel my card before they do worse.
This is my first online scam so I felt really bad.
Completely mysterious charge of 49 euros
They charged me 49 euros though I never signed up for anything.
I saw a credit card charge on my bank statement for 49 euros from strea-s.com, which I'd never heard of. When I called the customer service of strea-s.com, the rep said that I'd been subscribed somehow to medianess.co, which I'd also never encountered.
The rep promised to cancel my subscription and refund my 49 euros, but I have to wait and see whether it will really happen.
