It was an overall very helpful experience as the host were very welcoming and gave me clarity on certain things I was unsure about in the medical industry.However, I would have liked for some specific overview on certain jobs such as anaesthetics or cardiology just to have a deeper insight into the kind of jobs we as students want to do.This doesn’t have to be apart of the actual conference but it can be a separate one if possible. Get into Medicine Conference
I found the conference to be quite valuable to help me establish an understanding of the requirements to get into medicine.
I learned plenty of important information without which I may have struggled to find, and the people presenting did a good job showing how the process works with simple slides that weren't overly complicated and were clear in what they were trying to convey.
I also appreciated that there were medical students explaining how they went through the application process, as questions could be put to them to find out more about their experiences preparing for and following the medical application process.
Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend it to any aspiring doctors.

The Medic Mentor Get Into Medicine Conference was genuinely really helpful and informative! It explained the whole medical school application process in a way that actually made sense, especially things like the UCAT and interviews -which can feel overwhelming. What I really loved was their specific, detailed advice on how to tailor your extracurriculars and even your personal statement! The speakers were really honest, and their passion for the profession shone through. I came away feeling much more confident and clear about what I need to do next and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who’s serious about applying to medicine!

Brilliantly run session for young people considering medicine as a degree. All the speakers treated the students like capable, intelligent prospective doctors - and the session was incredibly informative, and the best I've seen of it's kind.
