Absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service and repair. Have sent my laptop in twice for repair under warranty with the same issue and has not been fixed. They have had it for 3-4 weeks at a time, and still not fixed it, while saying they have. Have not been given any whatsoever detail of the diagnosed issue, and the only responses I have received are copy and pasted emails with spelling errors. Their website does not work at all either. Do not recommend to anybody.

Scammed me.

Scammed me.

I sent my laptop in to fix the charging. They tried to charge me £750 to fix the motherboard, which was so sketchy. I told them I'm only paying to fix the DC port and ended up paying £150. They took my money and then sent it back without fixing anything.

THEN, I send them an email, there's a back and forth and then they tell me they'll fix it again free of charge. I'm happy, they 'send someone out' to collect it, and then no one comes. I email them again, and the email 'failed to deliver'. This has been going on for half a year, and my laptop is still broken.

I checked the repairs receipt today and it says they fixed my motherboard too. It's like they take the laptop, write whatever they want on the invoice, do random 'quick fixes' that will break again after a week (stuff you didn't ask for), and then send it back and cross their fingers.

It all seems very illegal.

The One star is infinitely more then they deserve!

This Company is so Incredibly dishonest and bad, that It caused me to writhe the first review I've written in over a decade!

They Delivered a defective product, via an intermediate. This was reported to Medion within a month of delivery. then they hassled for over 2.5 years. Constantly not replying, making me pay over €100,- in phone fees for them to never get clear answers.

After 2.5 years they say, owh well you can return it to us, we will look at it. Then when you do so they say, we can repair it, but you are to late for factory error returns, so you need to pay us 60% of what the laptop had cost. Which now was nearly 3 years ago, for them to "repair" it. With both repair options to anyone with half a brain, would not be sufficient. At least not to solve all the problems, as the main functionality problems weren't adressed by their suggested "repairs".

And now they say, if you don't trust our fix, that you'll have to pay for, will work. Than we will just destroy your product. Pocketing the money for the sale adnd for the phone fees and therewith screwing over the Charity for whom it was bought.

The One star is infinitely more then they deserve!

Whatever issue you have with your…

Whatever issue you have with your product, never take it to Medion to get it fixed!!! This company’s policies are a joke to them. The period that they claim to get things fixed is a lie. They took my laptop for 1 and a half months to get it fixed and made me pay 720 euros for the repair and when i received it back my laptop was only half fixed. They changed the entire motherboard and still my laptops screen was glitching all the time, freezing and not allowing me to properly use it. They told me I have a one year warranty on the products they replaced and now that I want to take it back to get it fixed they tell me that they cant help me anymore because they don't work with Lenovo anymore eventhough the warranty on the products is by them. A complete joke company, with extremely rude costumer service that will interrupt and scream on the phone. I dealt with both Medion Netherlands and Germany. They should not be in business!

Medion can not offer service to repair at home

Medion can not offer service to repair my dishwasher in my place or take from my place they're expecting that heavy machine should be carrying from me to UPS so i have to bring there that heavy machine which clearly impossible to carry from my house to post office!
I offered them to keep machine but get refund they immediately rejected it.
You're selling that machine directly to my home delivery but when is broken I have to carry to post office!?
That's not really costumer friendly idea it's not a computer it's a heavy machine! I have back problems and I could be an old person who lives alone or handicapped!
You should provide your service at home for heavy devices or refund!

I thought medion was a costumer friendly company but now I'm careful if I want to buy something from there!

Update:12 Kg is quite heavy to carry so I'll fix this problem with ombudsman clearly!

Hello Mehmet,

I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to send the product for repair.
For some heavy devices we offer an on-site service at your place.
There is no on-site service for the dishwasher you have bought. Because the dishwasher itself weighs about 10-12kg.

We called you today and left a voicemail message regarding this topic.

Desktop PC broke very quickly

Desktop PC broke very quickly. Warranty process was confusing. Service reps seemed clueless. PC got repaired in the end so fingers crossed. Communication about the repair and return shipping was very poor. I wish I had 3 thumbs because this deserves 👎👎👎. Never ever again for me. Almost as bad as HP 😂

Yes, Medion I would like to send you more information. Please let me know HOW I CAN GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU? Unbelievable how you treat your customers.

Medion PC/Tablet - PIECE OF JUNK - avoid at all costs

Hello,
This is the message I will be sharing on any message boards I am able to:

I have bought Medion computers for the last 20 years. I'm typing this on a Medion Akoya PC now.
I bought a Medion PC/tablet about 4 years ago.
[Product: CNB E3213 MEDION MD60986 NL ] [Serial No.: 30024070100167B00663 ]

This Medion tablet is the worst piece of junk I have ever bought!

I started having major issues immediately.
I had 4 major issues within the 2 year guarantee period, for which I had to send the tablet back to Medion for repairs.
With it being away so much, I got to use it maybe 6 months of the 2 years.

They refused to replace the tablet with a new one even after 3 major issues because they said only 1 of the issues was hardware and the others where (their) software.
This has been the WORST customer service of any product I have ever bought.

So after the 2 year guarantee ended, of course I continued to have major issues. But Medio refused to answer my complaints.

For example, the hinges where the tablet opens and closes all broke off (I've never taken the tablet out of the house). But I have opened and closed it about 25 times.

And another is that the keyboard no longer works at all. So my PC/Tablet - only works in tablet mode now.

Yet another is that when I start the tablet, I will get a gray screen with stripes - I then need to shut it down and start it again and hope I actually get a working (touch) screen.

I am now looking into buying a new replacement PC - one which will NOT be a Medion.

AVOID THE MEDION PC/TABLET AT ALL COSTS!

I will never buy a Medion again. All I asked is that they replace or refund a defective product - and they refused both.

got scammed by Lenovo customer service…

got scammed by Lenovo customer service (actually it is Medion, the outsourced repairing company by lenovo)
I sent a email via its support website, with the picture attached to describe the problem of my laptop, they told me "its under warranty, so repair and transport are all covered", so I sent it to them.
2 weeks later, they told me "no, its not under warranty"...if I want it repair, pay 1200 Euro, otherwise, pay another 50 Euros for the returning cost. well, with 1200 Euros, I can buy a new one with upgraded configuration... why do I bother to have a repaired one.
so now, I have to pay 50 Euro to get my laptop back (un-repaired).
let me quote the email:
1st email:
Thank you for contacting Lenovo Support. I understand there is an issue with the temperature of the device and after opening the device you noticed there was something detached regarding the heatsink. As the device still has warranty we can setup a repair to have the depot check the failure and replace the parts.
To be able to set this up I would like to check the following data:

2nd email:
Can you please let me know in a reply if the information above is correct or needs altering.
If all is well I will setup a repair for you, which means you will receive an email with a voucher which you can print out.
Pack you unit for transport (orig. box or good alternative) and put the voucher on the box.
You can bring this package to an UPS delivery point in your neighbourhood (I will include a link in the mail so you can find one).
Transport and repair will be done under warranty and will therefore not be charged to you
I hope to have helped you sufficiantly with this information and I wish you a very nice day.
----quote end----

but in the live support chat, that guy never admit that "it is under warranty" and telling me it`s repair center`s call to decide whether under warranty or not.

ye...what can you do? my laptop is in their hand, they will not return it unless I pay the transport cost.
---------------
advice: stay away from it.

Avoid Medion totally

Avoid Medion totally, total waste of your time. Mismanagement of their websites and they don't have a clue of customer service. Medion offers on various price comparison sites a bread baking machine for around €45, but if you want to order it, the link does not work and the product is nowhere to be found. So, I tried to contact them and ask. No telephone number to be found on their website. To be able to mail them, you first need to open an account with them and type in and provide way too much information. So, I clicked the Facebook button on the site and messaged them weather or they live up to their own offers. The German headoffice of Medion replied I should send the message to their Dutch branch with the forementioned mandatory account opening. Ofcourse I asked them to forward my message to their collegues, they refused several times. Appaling website mismanagement, fraudulous offers they do not live up to, worst communication and total lack of customer service. Parties like this should not be in the market wasting customers time!
