Just want to say something about my experience with Medlands real estate agent and the staff that works there,
First of all my name is Charlie, and I was looking to buy a villa in the Costa Blanca around Torrevieja,
Six months before I moved over to start my viewings, I was on to a Girl called Jessie, who was from the same country as me, Ireland. It was great to have someone in Spain working for Medlands and from Ireland.
From the first day I was talking to Jessie, about my request she was so helpful to me and my Wife everything Jessie sent me about all the new Villas that were in my Budget really helped me to make a decision on what I wanted and what area in the Costa Blanca I wanted to live in.
Like anyone moving to Spain you need someone like Jessie to talk to and someone that knows all the areas of Spain she was the best.
When we finally got over to Spain we made an appointment with Medlands to view all the villas Jessie sent me over the past 6 months.
On Thursday 7th of November this was the day we had to view 6 villas.
At 9am we got picked up by a man called Niclas that spoke English as well. It was great.
It was a long day looking at all the villas and Niclas just took his time to make sure we made the right decision on what villa we would end up living in.

I honestly have to say that Jessie and Niclas were very professional from the first day we got in contact with Medlands.
I hope that this will help someone in the future.
PS Spain is wonderful place to live.

Very pleased with the standard of service received before or trip and during the trip we found our dream apartment with absolutely no pressure to buy.

Renzo was extremely knowledgeable and really put us at ease with what is a big decision . A professional service.

All the way through it has been an easy and pleasurable experience. We worked remotely with pre-sales for a few months to create a short list of properties then traveled for a 4 day viewing trip. We got to see all our shortlisted properties and more. By day 3 we settled on a property and on day 4 we got all the formalities done before flying home. Very happy indeed.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A very friendly experienced agency if your looking for new build unfortunately I didn’t realize that so didn’t have resale properties to compare with so depending on what you are looking for they could be the agent for you good luck finding your NEW home

My personal experience during such journey seeking the desired dream property was quite an interesting, however stressful process. I believe it's human nature to imagine all sorts of doom scenarios when you are about to invest a high sum of money in foreign real estate. Especially when you are not familiar with all the rules and regulations of that country. Even more myself being a security consultant professional sometimes makes you over vigilant and alert.

It was the introduction video of Medland which perfectly explained the entire buying process from start to end and impressed me most, but also gave me the trust I needed to stick with the first real estate agent I introduced myself to. Of course I was surfing across the internet and found several other agents. However, looking back from the start to end I am very much convinced dealing with multiple facilitators would've only made the decision making process much more difficult. Simply because, you as an individual need to process the enormous bulk of information in a relatively short amount of time, where you actually don't have time to make a well-considered/informed decision due to the craziness surrounding the Spanish housing market. The property you've taken an option on might be seized by another customer if you've waited too long. Also because there are just too much options, lots properties to see, but you will never manage to see everything, and even when you do, your decision making will not become more decisive, rather less. Then it is also very important to set you maximum budget and make sure your add the 14% tax and lawyer costs to total investment.

Long story short, despite the six months delay during the construction phase. I am now very satisfied and happy with the end result. I would like to emphasize that I've received impressive support from Medland staff around the various phases. But every buyer must understand you are not in your own country and the answers to your enquiries might take a bit longer. Be patient and have trust in the construction process. I've waited two years, which is a long time to wait for something you are very much looking forward to. Nevertheless, in the end it was worth while waiting, and finally receiving the keys of my own dream property which meets with all my personal desires. After you've decided to buy a property you will be introduced to a trustworthy lawyer and notary's office, where you will see many foreigners/expats walk in and out as new clients.

Great team who showed me apartments that absolutely corresponded to my requirements and also showed me and discussed the area and points of interest when living there "for real".

The sales consultant was very knowledgeable and attentive. She listened to my requirements and concerns and had some good advice.

Office and ground team have been absolutely fantastic in helping us find our perfect property in our preferred areas. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy.
