Meeting Tomorrow's refund/cancellation policy needs attention

Since I wrote this review, Meeting Tomorrow decided to refund what I feel is a more correct amount. I do appreciate that they finally did the right thing, so I am going to change my rating to four stars to reflect the way they operate normally and to integrate their acquiescence to my request.

I have used Meeting Tomorrow before; their service was great and It appears many agree. However, I wonder how many have had to cancel their order.
That happened to me this week. I do contract support for a company that was recently bought by a multi-national. That company requested that I get equipment for a meeting they were to have on November 17th, so I did so on November 11th.
Yesterday, November 14th, the company decided to cancel the meeting. I contacted Meeting Tomorrow Event Support on the evening of the 14th as soon as I knew they wanted to cancel.
Their refund policy says they will refund 75% if they are contacted within three days and 50% if contacted within one to two days of delivery.
Now Meeting Tomorrow says that while the meeting was for the 17th, the equipment was scheduled to be delivered on the 16th, making my cancellation within the two day window, not three as I see it,
So they insist they are only going to refund 50%. OK, I don't agree but I guess it is what it is. However, they are still keeping their 50% of the $89 delivery charge (that they never incurred) and 50% of the taxes, which is, in my opinion, very creative accounting.
In general I feel this entire policy is excessive and does not reflect, in any way, a fair accounting of the costs incurred by Meeting Tomorrow for a cancelled event.

So, in summary, if you ever need to cancel a delivery, expect to pay for a percentage of FedEx delivery charges that Meeting Tomorrow never incurs and a percentage of the taxes that are never appropriate, Also, if possible, cancel more than three days in advance of the non-delivery date (not necessarily your meeting date, and certainly not if you are actually "meeting tomorrow").
I did mention all of this to their accounting department. Instead of taking it as a customer complaint, they said they "welcomed my feedback". What a slap in the face! That just isn't good customer service. No attempt to resolve the complaint. No attempt to offer any accommodation whatsoever. How much would it be worth to them to handle this fairly and get a good review instead of this. I will never, ever, use them again. I will never ever refer another person to them, as I have several times in the past.

Excellent product and even better customer service!

From the first call I made to meeting tomorrow the experience was nothing short of perfect. I needed to rent a few iPads and stands etc for an event. The account rep was very informative and got the equipment to me quickly. She even walked me through the many questions I had on getting them setup. Pricing was great too.

After my event was over we realized there was some info we needed still on the iPads. I sent one email and they were on top of it! The next day everything I needed was in my inbox. :) Saved my day and kept my clients happy! Thanks to Tierney & Laura for such wonderful service!

Excellent Service + Quick Response + Competitive Pricing = SUCCESS!

Audry was absolutely amazing to work with! ...I sent out request for quotes to 3 different companies and she responded within hours of my email. Not only was she attentive about our needs and training, she made recommendations and suggestions that made Meeting Tomorrow the EASY choice for our equipment rental.

Laptops arrived on time, well packaged, and ready to go! ... training was a success in large part to the ease and quick response of Audry and her team. Pre-printed labels, zip ties and cases made for easy return as well! (they even included mints!)

We will definitely be using Meeting Tomorrow for future events and training. Looking forward to it!

Great Customer Service & On-Site Staffing

I have been working with Meeting Tomorrow for about two years for National and Canadian events. I trust their team and equipment and have always had a positive experience.

Meeting Tomorrow continues to provide excellent customer service prior to events, knowledgeable on-site staff and the best AV equipment based on the event needs.

Always Reliable

Hello,

I have used Meeting Tomorrow for many focus group/taste tests. I usually order around 30 laptops and have them couriered to an offsite location. Sometimes we need the laptops at our office and in those cases, shipping works fine. However, when I let my Rep, Tierney Edwards, know what I wasn't comfortable with shipping (after a fed ex disaster!) with the last project, she found a way to have the laptops couriered to my location. This has made all the difference for me, stress wise and project management wise. I can always count on Tierney to make my part of the process as easy as possible.

Great Experience

While designing a permanent Town Hall AV solution for my customer, multiple important Town Hall meetings occurred that needed an extremely fast and successful turnaround. I had major reservations about helping the customer through a temporary Town Hall AV solution. Meeting Tomorrow made it extremely easy; Tierney was amazing as the Account Manager. I've experienced the service twice so far; my customer, and therefore I, was extremely satisfied.

Moonshot event project? Give Meeting tomorrow a call.

We recently engaged Meeting Tomorrow to support our equipment needs for a multi-city tour. We crammed in about 12 cities in 30 days. Often there was just one travel day between events. This project posed a huge logistical nightmare - delivery of computer equipment being a particulary high-risk element.

Blake Rose and the Meeting Tomorrow team were incredible. Quick, attentive, and flexible during the planning and specification phase, but then accurate, commited, and agile on the fulfillment end.

There wasn't ONE failure on the computer logistics end of this: stuff showed up on time, stuff went back on time. With the number of cities we had and the "just in time" delivery schedule - I fully expected a failure. Happyt to say I was disappointed - all went flawlessly, 5x5!

This wasn't the first time we've used Meeting Tomorrow, after this experience, they are on our preferred supplier list for sure.

I wouldn't hesistate to recommend them to be added to anyone's bid list.

One of the best vendors we've worked with!

Our non-profit organization needed a set of laptops for a tech driven fundraising campaign. I called Meeting Tomorrow and reached the person I needed to speak with (Talia) on the first call.

Talia and her team have been efficient, responsive, and very professional. They got us everything we needed and ultimately Meeting Tomorrow has proven to be not just a great company, but a generous community partner. This is evidenced by the fact that they ultimately agreed to sponsor our computer needs for this campaign!

Reliable staff, quality equipment, quick response times, willing to work with your budget.

I have worked with Meeting Tomorrow on a large national tour that's covered 12 cities and each time they've performed above expectations. They're staff is always on time, they work within your budgets, they can handle VERY last minute requests and always maintain a positive attitude. Not to mention, I get a call from their customer service department directly after each install to make sure that their staff did a great job and that I was satisfied. I'd highly recommend Meeting Tomorrow for any small or large requests.

Reliable professionals, quick turnaround, and great outcome!

I called on Meeting Tomorrow with a list in my hand of A/V specs for a last-minute PR event that was happening in 1.5 days. In a panic, (and having little experience in the A/V arena), I was crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. All I can say is that their customer service/account management team was incredible! They are experts, assured me they had everything we needed, and made sure that we weren't missing any necessary items. Their team showed up for set up the next day as promised. They worked efficiently and were super thorough. They were patient as we asked them to change equipment locations and test everything, and even stayed a few minutes more than required to make sure everything was correct. The event was executed perfectly, and the technicians were excellent under pressure. We will definitely use Meeting Tomorrow again!

If I need it tomorrow, I would ask for Meeting Tomorrow

Meeting Tomorrow (MT) is an excellent company and their offering and support definitely have helped get me through the audio and video portions of meeting set ups. From providing things like projectors and screens to a full laptop classroom set up and more.

I will continue to use and recommend Meeting Tomorrow for all my audio visual and tech rental needs.

Meeting Tomorrow is a very organized and thorough company, which makes my job very easy.

Working with Meeting Tomorrow is a big convenience for me, and it allows me to make some extra money outside of my other endeavors.
