I came across Bedelia a few months before getting married. We were potentially interested in having a pre-nuptial agreement but didn’t know enough about it to know whether it was worth the trouble. I had read a few articles online to get a sense, but the Bedelia app allowed me to have a conversation with the AI and ask clarifying questions. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of detail on the basics of a pre-nup it was able to provide. After the conversation, I received an email with all the details, which made me mentally more relieved.

After talking with the AI, Bedelia even provided some local lawyer recommendations for the next step that were within our budget. We reached out to one of our local lawyers that had a flat rate and we heard back within 24 hours to schedule a call. The lawyer walked us through the whole pre-nup process in detail and answered all of our questions including whether or not it made sense for us to have a pre-nup. We wanted to keep most of our assets separate in the event we divorced with a few exceptions and we learned that California automatically assumes 50/50 in all things if no pre-nup exists. We felt good rapport with the lawyer and for us it made sense to get a pre-nup so we decided to move forward. The email I received from Bedelia provided some basic information that we could pass on to the lawyer as well, which was helpful because it pulled some of the same financial information/had similar questions.

Once we provided our info to the lawyer, they pulled together an agreement quickly and was able to go over each term in the agreement with us in detail via video call. The whole process was more seamless than I expected. The easiest part though was getting it notarized at the end! I’m thankful that the process was pretty streamlined and relatively stress-free given we were wedding planning at the same time.

In the age of AI, Bedalia does an excellent job in connecting you with what you need. It's often challenging to find out where to start, but Bedalia makes it easy. Sol provides excellent follow-up and support as well.
