I did not want to have to do this.. since things were going well all these years.
As a small business, our ability to function relies heavily on prompt and reliable payment processing. We are extremely dissatisfied with the length of time this is taking and the resulting impact on our operations.
After writing a negative review on here and Google, the team then decided to support our needs after 2 weeks without a resolution.

First time using and my client paid three invoices at the same time. The two smaller payments were deposited within 24 hours, but Melio held the larger one for a week, and getting any information from support was impossible. 8 days after the payment was made, they marked the third payment as failed and refused to give me any information as to why, so a week later I had to go back to my client and look like a complete fool trying to figure out what happened with the payment. Complete garbage service.

Avoid Melio at all costs especially if you are a small business! I contacted them with concerns over my account bc I was receiving income for the first time. The past five or so years I only used them to send money. After receiving my very first payment and having talked to and exchanging personal emails with a rep, the funds cleared. The very next morning they cancelled my account, reversed the funds sending me negative on my clients project. And a week has passed and not a single reply from melio, the rep or customer service! THEY ARE NOT SAFE FOR TOUR BUSINESS AT ALL! BEWARE! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Melio has held my funds for an extended period of time without clear reason or timeline for release. Additionally, I opted for an expedited payment and still have not received it. Support has been horrible. I have been given false information, and they have failed to respond effectively to my requests to gain access to my funds, which has still not been resolved. Additionally, escalation of my case has been inconsistent, contradictory, and unresponsive.
My overall experience with Melio has been terrible. They have been reported numerous times to the Better Business Bureau for their poor service and withholding of funds for unknown reasons, among other issues causing significant financial problems.
Melio is an untrustworthy company with poor communication and support. I have reported Melio to the Better Business Bureau, and I will not be using their services again nor will I recommended their services to anyone.

Be sure to verify companies like this who defraud customers and hold onto deposits with their anonymous mall cops and little men in black or probably algorithms as the justification to shutting accounts and running off with money for an indefinite period. Many of them are recruited from retail on minimum wage. Like parking inspectors, most would be unemployable, they have found a niche, a sheltered workshop, in banks with absentee management who don't give a damn and shelter behind a thick wall of automated bots and flunkies.
More bad CEO hiding behind fake, glitzy adverting and lies.
I've found WISE to be good and so is Chase (after you go through a raging hassle for corporate accounts), but they do actually work and don't randomly kill accounts.

I sent a $25k payment to a contractor to start work on an investment property. The payment was supposed to be received the same day, but the next morning the contractor had still not received payment. When I went to login to my Melio account, I was notified that my account was suspended and I couldn't get access to check the transaction. One week later I'm writing this review and the payment has still not been received and I have a $25K charge. The worst part is no one from customer service has responded to any of my requests. I'm mainly writing this in hopes someone will respond to help resolve the issue.
