So I added the cal king gray comforter…
So I added the cal king gray comforter to my pillow order and it took two months to arrive after the pillows. The company was amazing with communication and kept in contact with me the whole time. They were out of stock of the cal king gray but stayed true to their word that it would be shipped. It finally arrived last week. I wanted to wash all my bedding and get my house fresh and clean before unboxing. I took it out this weekend and EVERYONE has enjoyed this comforter. It is so comfortable and soft. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. The dogs, the cat and my son crawled in my bed to sleep with me and even went to bed early last night so they could snuggle up with the comforter. I don’t usually share a blanket with my son but this one is so huge that there is enough for both of us and then some. It was only $70-$80 to add it to my pillow order! Worth every penny. So luxuriously comfortable. Wish I had a reason and more beds to buy more!
I gave the pillows as I ordered as gifts to my parents, my sister and one for myself. My family loved them so much that they ordered a few for their vacation homes and other family members.
I see alot of people complaining about the customer service and that is just not what I experienced at all. They responded immediately and I was patient about the comforter. They told me it would take time because they ran out of stock. Offered me a full refund but I decided to wait. Completely worth the wait! I love the pillow and the comforter and it did not have a smell that everyone keeps mentioning. Smelled like packaging or cardboard but nothing foul or chemical odor.

I knew the first night I didn't want to keep this pillow. It's akward, slippery, uncomfortable.
I should have read the return policy, a $15 return charge AND you have to return it in the original packaging. Have you ever tried to put an air bag back in the sterring wheel? They know you can't return it in the original packaging.
It would go a long way if they would follow the mattress companies and ask you to donate them.
Falling apart after 8 weeks – Support offered a coupon instead of a fix
I’ve had this comforter for exactly two months and it is already pilling and developing holes. I haven’t even washed it yet, so this is purely from sleeping under it for 8 weeks. For a product at this price point, the fabric should not be disintegrating this quickly.
When I contacted customer support, they refused to honor a refund or replacement, claiming this was "normal wear and tear." They had the audacity to offer me a 20% coupon to buy more of their defective products.
Under the implied warranty laws in my state (Ohio) and their home state (California), a product must be fit for its purpose. A comforter that fails within 60 days of normal use is clearly defective. If you’re looking for quality or a company that stands behind its materials, look elsewhere. This was a complete waste of money and a headache to deal with.
Poor Customer Service
Although I enjoyed the fluffiness of the Mellow comforter, upon washing it (as directed, in the gentle cycle), the stitching came apart, with stuffing falling out. I emailed customer service and they were of no help, saying it wasn’t due to the manufacturer. I tried sending pictures, expressing this wasn’t the first time I had washed it (previously no problems). They still deemed it “my fault” and expressed their “sincerest apologies.” Being that it was a first time purchase, just over a month ago, I was hoping for a better solution. I sadly won’t be purchasing from them again.

Despite repeated attempts to contact, I was unable to as I could not get past the are you a human screen. No matter what I did and how I followed the directions, it kept saying your answer is wrong. I ordered a pillow 2 weeks ago and have not received any product or communication and they've not responded to the one time I was able to send them an email.
Never received the order. Customer service is useless!
My order never arrived and their customer service won't respond to me. I had to file a complaint with the BBB and work with my credit card company to get a refund, even though I paid for the shipping insurance! Their customer service is the WORST! Don't even know if the pillows are any good, but no longer wanting to find out!
An Absolute Nghtmare!!

I ordered 4 cloud pillow cases, 2 mellow pillow cases, 1 adaptive pillow, 1 king comforter, and a weighted sleeping mask. Paid about $180. This was 03/29/2026. I received the eye pillow, 1 of the 4 cloud pillows cases, the sleeping mask, and adaptive pillow. Immediately contacted them and began trying to fix the issue. They've asked for photos, photos of the box it came in (a week after my initial contact so it was already gone), and all of my patience.
It is 04/26/2026 and I have still not been made whole. There are, at least, 30 emails between us with several even feeling accusatory that I am untruthful about what I've received. I've been asked to send my order confirmation, photo of my received items, and order details to them several times! And each of these requests were separate, mind you. Incompetence at its finest. Also, to date, never received my king comforter or my Mellow Cooling cases x2. Never offered compensation, refund...
And after all of this, the adaptive pillow is mid. The weighed eye mask is wonderful!
Save yourself time and your peace of mind and look elsewhere. I will never support a business who made me feel like I was getting over on them over a few pillow cases!!

My order (Tracking Number: TBA330112400599) shows as delivered, but I NEVER received the package. Since then, I have sent multiple emails (at least 4), and no one has properly responded or resolved my issue.
This is very frustrating. It’s unacceptable for a company to mark an order as delivered and then ignore the customer when there is clearly a problem. I have followed all the instructions, checked around my property, and confirmed no one accepted the package on my behalf.
Customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful. At this point, I feel completely ignored.
I would not recommend Mellow to anyone. Poor communication and lack of accountability when something goes wrong.
Never shipped, terrible customer service
I only received part of my order, the other half was never shipped. Customer service responded to my first email saying they would have it shipped within 10days. After that timeframe was not met I emailed them again and they never responded. I emailed them a third time asking for a refund and they never responded, and the order has still not shipped. I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company.
Never Received My Item
I ordered a comforter 23 days ago and it still hasn’t shipped. I’ve emailed them multiple times and only ever get generic responses. I asked to cancel my order but they said they can’t “until inventory is confirmed”, which makes no sense. Will be disputing this with my bank.
Misleading promotion and unresolved order issues
I placed an order on April 4th after seeing a promotion that advertised receiving two free hotel pillows on orders over $100. My order met the threshold, but the code would not apply.
I reached out the same day to ask for help. Support later acknowledged that the promotion may not have been clearly communicated, but ultimately refused to honor it, stating that the pillows needed to be manually added to the cart—something that was not made clear at checkout.
Since then, I’ve followed up multiple times and have either received delayed responses or no response at all.
To make matters worse, it is now April 23rd and I still have not received the full order.
Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. The promotion was unclear, the issue was not resolved despite multiple attempts, and the order fulfillment has been slow with limited communication. I expected better customer service.

Mixed experience – delays, decent resolution, product not for me
I purchased a CloudAlign pillow and MarshMellow Comforter from Mellow on March 17. I did not receive any order updates, so I contacted customer support on March 31. I received a response apologizing and stating they would investigate, but there was no follow-up. I had to email again on April 1 and April 2 before receiving a more detailed response.
On April 2, I was informed the comforter was on backorder and my entire order was being held. I was offered several options (wait with 15% off and a free hotel pillow, or switch colors for a partial refund). I chose to wait for my original color but did not receive confirmation until April 11.
Items arrived in multiple shipments:
CloudAlign pillow: April 7
Hotel pillow: April 16
Comforter: April 18
While the communication and follow-up were not great, I do appreciate that they offered compensation (15% refund and a free item).
As for the products:
All items had a noticeable chemical smell initially (it does fade, but it’s still worth noting)
The hotel pillow is extremely thick and not usable for me
The comforter is soft and fluffy, but color options are limited, no good dark choices. I’ll need a duvet cover, which defeats the purpose of the soft comforter fabric.
The CloudAlign pillow did not work for me (too tall and too firm despite selecting their recommended “High” option)
The return policy is also a concern. Items must be returned in “like-new” condition and original packaging within 30 days, but the products arrive highly compressed. It seems unrealistic to repackage them to their standards, and with return fees and shipping deductions, it’s unclear how much refund you actually receive.
Overall, I do not recommend the CloudAlign pillow. Buyers should be aware of potential shipping delays, limited color options, and restrictive return conditions.
Also worth noting: I was not provided a way to leave a review on their website, which is concerning.
NEVER RECEIVED WHAT I ORDERED
I ordered a pillow and a gray/white comforter. The pillow arrived but I heard nothing about the comforter for WEEKS. I reached out SEVERAL TIMES. They apologized. I said if I don’t get a tracking number I want to cancel after reading other horrible reviews. They finally sent me an email offering me a free hotel pillow for the inconvenience and I can wait or switch to the white and get it sooner. I CLEARLY stated I could NOT have white because my decor is gray AND I have dogs that sleep on the bed so gray has to be on top. They SENT ME THE WHITE!!!! They refuse to send me the gray/white unless I pay for the return of the white MYSELF and then when they receive they will refund my shipping (YEAH RIGHT!!!!) The only way to get the gray/white is to REORDER which then places me at the BOTTOM of the wait list which has already been over a month! HORRIBLE customer service for a HUGE mistake on THEIR PART!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I were ordering a new blanket. She wanted to try something new, we were using Ugg comforter and it was awesome. We received the comforter the first day, and one of the reasons we got the comforter was because of the ability to clean it in your own washer machine at home. However, we cleaned the comforter as soon as we got it, and air dried it. After cleaning the comforter there was a tear in the comforter. We contacted customer service, and they asked us for all this info about it, almost like an interrogation. We gave them all the info they wanted, and it seemed like they were phishing for info to disqualify us for a refund. They said after like a week or 2 of emailing back and forth, that they wouldn't give us a refund because it wasn't washed in a commercial washer. Like, we got the comforter from an ad that advertised being able to wash it at home in your residential washer machine. I wouldn't recommend this customer service or experience to anyone. I have had nothing but problems with…
I have had nothing but problems with this company. Not only do their other products not fit or feel as advertised, but their comforter is advertised as machine washable at home — their own marketing asks “tired of going to the laundromat? Do it at home!” — but it does not fit in a standard home washer. I have to go to the laundromat every single week because of this false advertising.
I also have an item that was ordered on March 7th that has still not shipped as of April 21st. When I reached out for updates, they completely ignored the question and just repeatedly sent me care instructions for the comforter instead — over and over again, never once addressing the missing item.
They promised me a refund and then went silent. My emails have been left unread for weeks. No follow-through, no accountability, just false promises and deflection.
I am now being forced to file chargebacks through my bank — for the unshipped item and for the refund they promised and never issued. Do not trust this company’s guarantees. The only thing that gets their attention is a bank dispute.

My experience with Mellow Cloud Pillow Company.
This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company! I was extremely discouraged to find that I fell into the category of a "late" shipment. I saw the warnings regarding them, but I thought I would try anyway. Once I finally received the product, it was NOT all all like it was advertised. It was not all tall as the company stated, along with it had a massive chemical smell! I thought well it's been squished inside this tiny box and bag for who knows how long so maybe it just needs to air out. So I tried to use it the following night I received it, but just a few hours in, I threw it in the floor and got my old pillow! The smell was so over powering it gave me a headache. And my bad, I did not check out the return policy prior to ordering this pillow, I wish I had, because I would have NEVER ordered this product, due to the fact that this company keeps $15.00 of YOUR MONEY! So that makes me believe this product only cost this company $15.00 to make, but yet you get charged $50.00 - WOW WHAT A COMPLETE RIP OFF!! Then when you go through the process of returning the product you are NOT allowed to type your own response of the reason you are returning it. You are forced to pick one of the company's pre-written answers for your return! Sounds like somebody doesn't want to hear the truth about their crappy product! I truly hope everyone does their research so they will not have to go through!
