Well the product is hugely overpriced for what it is and doesn’t work well at all! I bought the mermaid hair blow dryer and styler I think it was about $150 Australian dollars plus add in postage ect to NZ. Anyway it has very little power to blow dry hair dry when people have a lot of hair. My hairs not thick in terms of strands just the amount of hair I have and it’s about five inches past my shoulders. It takes about an hour with this very low powered blow dryer to dry my hair with it and then try and use the brushes to style it. It’s not easy to use to get the styled look that looks so easy in the videos. And as for straightening it forget it it just ends up all frizzy when I try with it! My hair isn’t overly frizzy or anything normally. I saw the same Dort of products on Amazon for about $30 that look the same and I’m sure would be similar so I feel completely ripped off with this cheap looking product that’s just using its branding to sell at this price. When the comps not asked for a review by email I scored it badly. They did offer that I return it which they didn’t use the words we will happily refund or pay the price to send ir back to oz from nz which would prob be expensive. But I presume they meant it would be refunded. But it wasn’t put in a very pleasing way and they just said my very normal hair probably wasn’t suitable for it. Which I think means many people would strike similar results. I declined the return offer as I can not get to the post office in work hours and paying for return sending back for such a heavy item ( it’s bulky and not light ) would be expensive and also I’m paying on afterpay which would be complicated to sort. I expected some sort of response maybe addressing a few of these concerns so I could send it back more easily so maybe it would be worth me skipping away from work for a bit to send it back but no. They sent two e sails where they obviously hadn’t read my response and then nothing when I reiterated it again. I mentioned to them in the last one I will decline sending it back due to those reasons yet again and write an unfavorable review which here it is! Also found the mermaid hair look tool rubbish too it doesn’t work like the videos either and made my hair look silly. It’s tricky to use to get good results. Save your money and buy something cheaper from Amazon that’s the same! If it works for you great but if it doesn’t no big financial loss like these two terrible products!
