Be careful if using this website. They refuse to give refunds, even if it is for an item they can no longer supply. Instead you must choose an alternative or accept a credit note. Items which are sent barely resemble those shown on the website and, despite many assurances, they have failed to complete my order, placed in November, but continually fob me off with assurances they are diligently working to rectify the situation. The words scammers and thieves spring to mind. I have sent numerous reminders during this period, but have dated my review today as I have still not received the outstanding item.

Order a brown and black pocket book back in December 2025. I received two brown ones. I have been trying to get a 15% refund and all I get is the runaround. I guess I this company is a scam. Please do not order any thing from this so-called company. They will not send you any refund.

If you paid via Paypal claim a full refund, I claimed a 60% partial refund on 2 orders totalling almost £200 as all 9 bags were counterfeit, synthetic material and not leather, I also refused to return the bags due to the cost as its not a London company but is Shanghai China, Paypal found in my favour, I am now claiming a further 40% full refund.

This is fraudulant behaviour, total fantasy story retiring London based handbag business. The delivery took over a month, via China! Stating the bags are made of leather. NO - its plastic. Cheap and nasty. They should be discribed as "vegan leather". On the plus side, the designs I chose are nice though! One bag has Ding fung on it which probably means you've been had!!!

We received some ads on social media from MernesLondon. My spouse thought that the prices are two good to be true, but took a chance and ordered a purse she really liked the look of. It was only around $50.00 CDN all in, so we should have known it was not going to be made of leather, if it arrived at all. It did arrive, and it was so obvious that it was made of cheap plastic that a child could identify it from the real leather. The bag is in the pile going to a charity, and the total investment was a scam and a waste of money.

I should have checked reviews first because the ad was good and mislead me to assume quality from craftsmen. Absolutely cheap quality vinyl rather than the leather I was lead to believe. Very very disappointed with product and tracking was poor at best. Buyer beware.

This is a fake company with fake products. I ordered two bags and when they arrived they both fake leather. I then requested for a refund and received an AI generated email response. Strong warning, DO NOT order anything from this website. You will 100% regret it and lose your hard earned money. Avoid them at all cost.

Received my handbag finally after long wait and after several emails I sent. the quality was poor to say the the least tassles on zips fell off do not use or buy from this site !!

Ordered a bag for myself as going on holiday and it was Christmas.Complained about non arrival they said it had been shipped, they took the money out of the Bank twice,questioned it, wanted photos,done that but they say that according to their office it was what I ordered, it was not. want me to sent them back or give me 30% off a further order or post them back to Hong Kong at my expense, I don't think so. They said they are a purely legitimate company, they are not, they are a scam and cost me £118 they should be investigated and I am stuck with 2 bags which I do not want and do not even like, they are not what I ordered.

I realise after seeing reviews that I am not alone is being Scammed - I too Thought buying from British Couple who were retiring. Bought for Christmas present arrived 11 January - took 32 days - obviously from China Item a hard Plastic piece of TAT - "leather be dambed" A complete scam - usually not taken in??
But was this time - suppose my loss.

Actually ZERO stars. I fell for a scam. 52€ down the drain. A stinking plastic bag. Arrived almost 2 months after ordered and since it was not from Europe, I had to pay tax according to the 'leather’ description of goods. A scam. Don’t buy.

I ordered a bag in Nov 2025. Till todate I have not received the item. I have been e mailing and reply keep coming saying, it on the way, but today I wrote again asking for the status of my bag and to my shock, the reply say, it been delivered. Very bad! I checked but no item delivered. Please dont buy from this company.

Mernes is a scam and a Chinese dropshipping company. Despite negative reviews, I thought to give them a try to see it for myself and i can now confirm that (1) it took months for the item to come (2) only partial items arrived and (3) the items arrived were not the ones I had ordered.

If there was a zero on Trustpilot. I would have given that.

This site is a scam. The product is shipped from China and not from a shop in London. The product is not what is advertised. I was told I could not cancel my order but could seek a refund once it had arrived. I was then told that I had to send it back to China at my own expense in the hope of getting a refund. Whilst I was stupid enough to buy from the site in first place, I am not so stupid as to trust them to give me a refund after I have paid the costs of shipping to China. Please do not buy from this site.

Ordered near the beginning of December as my Christmas present, my 'leather' backpack arrived in a scruffy sellotaped package on December 30th.
it was nothing like the picture online, not at all the '100% genuine leather' described, and as rubbishy inside the parcel as outside. There was no paperwork at all, I had received no information about the arrival of the order....no returns sheet.
The website should be closed down, I doubt if the company ever existed.

I wouldn't give them any stars. This is a scam, its terrible that they are allowed to get away with it. I ordered 3 bags on the belief that they were leather, well how wrong could I have been. They took ages to arrive which made me suspicious if I would receive them. Well when they came I could not believe the quality of the bags, they are not leather but cheap plastic. No point in sending back and asking for a refund as I have now seen other reviews that state they tried and got no where. This should be taken down from all sites. I just hope this review helps others to not make the stupid mistake that I did.

Doesn’t need anymore said does it? I’m another normally vigilant person who on this occasion wasn’t. Knew it was a scam as soon as I tried to cancel 5 minutes later once it dawned on me. Wasn’t even drunk!
Got one of the two bags ordered today. Absolutely rubbish.
