First class service! Sent them 7 medals to mount via special delivery on a Thursday & unbelievably received them back on Saturday! They were finally mounted professionally & look amazing , after years of previous amateur attempts by friends. Don’t avoid putting off a professional job & get these guys to sort out your medal display! Appreciate that the turn around is subject to how busy they are at the time but cannot fault their work - fully recommend!!

My request was for my father for a miniature set of his medals seeing they were either lost or stolen at a meet-up. It's a surprise and without a doubt he'll be very grateful/happy with the results.

Fantastic service. The turnaround time for a set of miniatures was the quickest I have ever encountered from any tailor. I placed an and they were court mounted and dispatched the same day, arriving the following morning. Very pleased with the quality of work too.

I recently completed a four‑year journey researching my late grandfather’s Second World War service, sourcing replacement medals and gathering his cap and uniform badges with the goal of having them professionally mounted and framed as a gift for my father.

After speaking with an ex‑serviceman in the picture framing business, he strongly recommended The Mess Dress Ltd - even preferring to send me their way rather than take on the work himself. He told me they had mounted both his own medals and his father’s, which was all the reassurance I needed.

From my very first email to Alex at The Mess Dress Ltd, I knew I had chosen the right company. I sent over photos of the medals and badges along with a detailed record of every theatre of war my grandfather served in. Alex was genuinely enthusiastic about the commission and treated the project with care and respect from the outset.

After receiving the items, he put together a selection of design options and even took the time to call me personally to discuss layout ideas, mounting choices and frame options. His attention to detail was exemplary and the final proof he produced was perfect.

Today I received the finished frame and I am absolutely blown away by it. The craftsmanship, the presentation and the respect shown for my grandfather’s service shine through in every detail. In fact, I’m almost reluctant to hand it over to my father because it looks that good!

My Dad would have absolutely loved them and they will take pride of place mounted on a beautiful velvet Light Infantry cushion, this will sit nicely on top of the Union Jack draped over his coffin.

Amazing service ! I am completely gobsmacked how quicky my medals were sorted. Sent off 7 medals for mounting (and a 7 x ribbon bar request as well) last Friday, would not have arrived earlier than Sat at Mess Dress HQ, work completed and sent back Monday..arrived Royal Mail today (Tuesday) meaning a 4-5 day turn- around...and peak season too with Remembrance coming up. Prick by is very reasonable and would recommend. Finished product is very good!

Knocked one star off as they unfortunately incorrectly done two of my medals and put them on the wrong ribbon. Therefore had to pay to send them back to be fixed

Excellent and unbelievably fast service ordered replicas of my Grandads medals yesterday morning (05 feb). Arrived before 1300hrs today (06feb)

We took my grandfather's WW2 medals and photograph to be framed. They offered plenty of advice and showed examples of completed work. The job was completed in only a few days and is beautifully finished and highly professional. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner, thank you!

Quick and efficient, arrived in plenty of time

I have used messdress.com for years and have always found them faultless. I turned up this morning needing a medal mounted and they did it in 45 minutes.
Very friendly, very helpful, great service, would highly recommend!

Shop looked closed however on trying door and entering I was greeted and welcomed.

I presented my medals and the assistant immediately recognised them. He had extensive knowledge and advise. I agreed to have them mounted . What a super job. Would highly recommend Mess Dress.

I have recently discovered all of my miniature medals that I purchased from messdress.com came from china and are an extremely poor quality. They are also the wrong size. Do not buy medals from them, you will be disappointed.

Like previous reviewer I am astounded at the service received. Posted my grandfathers medals Thursday morning and received them back fully mounted and cleaned before midday Saturday. Was recommended to use this company and wasn’t disappointed!

I don't normally leave a review of companies I use but the speed of service I received from this business was exceptional!
