Buying process was great. Shipping process was a disaster to Canada. I paid the shipping as per the quote provided by Metalbound. Bed was stuck in customs for a month because no customs was set up by shipper(metalbound) and Corey was impossible to get ahold of. After an unexpected $1200 customs bill the bed finally showed up. As a welding inspector I was disappointed in the quality of the welds used on this bed. One stringer bead used shows evident lack of fusion and welds were not cleaned up properly prior to coating causing sharp edges which are never ideal on a BDSM bed. Got bed put together and it’s out of square and no bed slats supplied so another cost to the buyer. Wish I had saved my money and not bought this bed slats

We really love our bedroom sets from MetalBound, absolutely fabulous stuff, ultra high quality, practically indestructible. You will never run out of ideas for how to enjoy these creations. I LOVE my new bed! It's beautifully crafted and very sturdy. I chose a sparkly finish, and it came out even better than I'd hoped -- it's subtle until the right light hits it and suddenly it's a rainbow riot. I have definitely already gotten attached to it. ;-)

We ordered a completely custom bed from Corey at Metalbound and are thrilled! It's important to know that quality custom work does take time so as long as you go into the process with that in mind, you're going to be so happy with your choice.

Corey was very involved and up front about the costs and process of custom work. I sent multiple reference photos for what I was hoping for and he made that a reality that was both beautiful, functional, and met our specific needs. He was responsive via phone and text throughout and sent photo updates of the build. Delivery was secure and the personal phone support during assembly was helpful.

Overall a wonderful experience for a luxury item that I know will last a lifetime and bring so much joy and fun into our lives.

I am the owner of two exceptional beds from Metalbound. The first serves as a functional addition to our playroom – a custom King Size canopy bed that exudes luxury and sophistication. My wife and I were so pleased with it that we decided to also purchase a Queen Size version for our guest room to use on Airbnb.

The second bed has a more straightforward design, with a block pattern, and it features candle holders on the headboard. We consistently receive compliments on this bed, and its craftsmanship is unlike anything I've come across before. These beds are truly one-of-a-kind, well-crafted, and real attention-grabbers.

Throughout the process, Corey was incredibly helpful and responsive to our many questions. The overall experience was excellent. We're confident that we'll be enjoying these beds for many years to come.

Overall fantastic experience. Great and frequent communication and customer service. Extremely high quality product that exceeded our expectations. Corey clearly cares about his customers and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase something from him again.

Manufacturing and shipping was a little slower than we expected, but the bed itself is perfect. The craftsmanship and quality is evident in all the details. Communication between the company was also great and put my mind at ease during the waiting period.

Let me start with the fact that they promised 12 week delivery and I got it delivered about 28 weeks later.

Then continue with the fact that the delivery company delivered the bed broken.

I contacted the owner and his solution was to wash his hands off the issue. Asked me to send the broken piece back and WAIT who knows how more long to get it repaired (instead of simply sending a new piece) or I could send the whole bed back for a refund. Of course, I'd be paying for everything and lose about $1000 and be left without a bedframe.

The delivery company hasn't paid for the damages. The bed was sent with an insurance that only covers $2500. Not even the entire value of the bedframe.

So basically, I am stuck with a broken bed and unpaid for damages.

Awful company, awful service, won't be buying from them ever again.
