Great support from a knowledgeable team to achieve your fitness goals.

I have been training with MHR Fitness for 4 years and wouldn’t train with anyone else!
All of the trainers are very supportive, push you to achieve the best and have created a friendly community of like minded people.
I love the fact that I am able to train alongside my husband twice a week with a training plan that is specific to our ability, health and goals needs. We feel stronger, healthier and fitter.
So thank you MHR and especially Mark for supporting us on the start of our fitness journey and the support and encouragement that you have shown us to achieve great things.

MHR Fitness- client centred, dynamic and fun

I have been training with the lovely team at MHR fitness since 2019. First in the small group training and currently on a one to one basis with Mark.
As someone who always felt intimidated by the gym environment, they were welcoming and put me at ease from day one. I had never done strength training before and with their support, knowledge, expertise (and patience!) I feel I have gained so much confidence and ability to train safely and effectively.
The atmosphere in their private gym is always so positive and there is a real sense of team spirit, togetherness and fun.
The team at MHR work flexibly with clients. I personally have found that they tailor exercise goals and nutritional advice to the needs of the individual.
If you are thinking of starting (or continuing) on a health and fitness journey and need a highly professional and welcoming team to support you - I can’t recommend MHR fitness highly enough.

MHR Fitness Family

I have been training with MHR Fitness since 2019. Having weekly 1:1 PT Sessions with Mark and also attending Small Group Training Sessions. It is a fun environment, we are an amazing supportive and encouraging team and always very welcoming to new people joining. The studio is private for MHR use only which is great especially for people who are nervous about using a gym maybe for the first time and there is a good range of equipment used within the sessions.
Whilst waiting outside for your session you will always hear laughter and words of encouragement. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs to keet your goals etc with regular check ins to make sure you are in track as well as offering advice if you feel a little lost or looking to change goals etc. I can not recommend MHR Fitness enough, we are a great team.

MHR Fitness is motivational & fun!

Joining the MHR family was one of the best decision I made. My one small group training session each week is now part of my schedule and routine and I look forward to it each time. The training programmes are varied and challenging with highly experienced trainers who support you through each session. Not only has MHR helped me achieve my fitness goals, I have also gained nutritional knowledge to help better support my diet and lifestyle. The extra bonus is the lovely ladies who work out alongside me, they help keep each session fun and always have words of motivation and encouragement.

MHR fitness

I have been training with MHR for 4 years doing two small group PT sessions a week, booked at the same time every week and so easy if you need to change to another day. The trainers are amazing and come up with a new plan with different exercises on each day every month.
MHR is so much more than just a place to exercise it’s like a family, the ladies in the groups are all great fun and encouraging.

Highly recommend the MRH training family

I have been training with MHR for 4 years, taking part in two small group training sessions per week. I had joined many gyms before but it never felt right and I never achieved what I wanted to do regarding weight loss or fitness. With MHR I look forward to my sessions - the trainers are inspiring, knowledgeable and supportive of you and your goals; the other ladies in the groups have similar goals and provide encouragement and support - I have met some amazing friends! You really are made to feel part of the MHR family.

The sessions are varied and challenging - the monthly challenges add a fun element and competitiveness. The facilities are first class, with all the latest machinery and equipment.

I would highly recommend MHR to anyone thinking of improving their fitness or looking for support in starting a new training plan.

Great community feel !

MHR Fitness are excellent....fantastic knowledgable PT's who have a genuine desire to help you achieve and maintain your personal fitness goals.

Ive been a member of MHR since March 2019 and I attend 2 Small group sessions a week and 2
2-1 sessions a month.

The group sessions are varied with the programme changing monthly to keep it really interesting. The people I train with are fun and we are really supportive of each other. A great community feel.

Very friendly. Knowledgeable PT Team. Totally Recommend!

I have been having weekly 1-2-1 PT sessions at MHR for the past year and can highly recommend.

The instructors listen to what you are looking to achieve, make the sessions interesting, relevant and challenging. As a result I have seen noticeable improvements in my strength & power.

In addition my PT sets me a program to complete separately each week which compliments the work we do together. This keeps me focussed and targets areas that I want to improve. It also means that my whole week of exercise is structured, helping me to stay consistent with my training.

Additional benefits of a smaller private studio like this, as opposed to a big commercial gym, is that there is no wasted time waiting around for equipment or the need for the PT to adapt if it isn’t free. The gym is quieter with no other users simply 'wandering around' and allows for combinations of exercises (and equipment) to be put together as supersets or circuits, making the sessions more fun and which often large gyms can’t facilitate. Always plenty of parking too!

I recently participated in MHR’s fund raising, which was really inspiring. Not just the tireless energy, commitment and drive that the MHR Team bought to it, but also the way that the community they have created came together to support them. It really is a very friendly, caring environment, which in itself is inspiring to be even a small part of.

MHR Fitness - Reasons to Join

I recently moved into the area and after looking at a few local gyms, I selected MHR based on their instructors and the services they offer. They are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable and the members are all very welcoming.

I attend bootcamp twice a week and a Small Group Personal Training session once a week. The groups are small and therefore the instructor is able to monitor each individual on their technique, ensuring that each session is safe, effective, fun and we work to our maximum ability.

No two Bootcamp sessions are ever the same and the Small Group Personal Training session is changed every month. During the month we are actively encouraged to increase the weights we lift, with technique always shown. The sessions are always a mixture of weights and cardio with a monthly team or individual challenge involved as well.

I look forward to going to the gym, rather than going because I've paid a membership and am stronger and fitter.

MHR Fitness is brilliant

MHR Fitness is brilliant. I do the small group PT sessions and they are the best way I’ve found to enjoy exercise in a fun and friendly environment, stay interested and receive individual help and advice when needed. I’ve recommended them to a friend who is now also loving the classes and I would recommend to anyone looking for a better way to stay fit, reach personal goals and meet great people at the same time!

MHR brings consistency and fun

MHR has been the place to bring consistency into my exercise regime. I attend 2 small group pt sessions a week and having those booked in at the same time every week keeps me accountable. The trainers are brilliant, every month we get a new plan with different exercises on each day and we chart how we progress through the month. The ladies I train with are so much fun and as I train with the same people regularly it becomes really social. I have improved my fitness loads and enjoyed doing it and I also lost 9kg and kept it off thanks to MHR.

Great service from the whole team

Great service from the whole team. I have been coming to MHR for years and find everyone to be supportive, friendly and motivational. Thanks for helping me achieve my goal of fat loss but most of all for better understanding my nutrition and fitness.
