I ordered for a friend's birthday
I had received this as a birthday gift during Covid and loved it. Needed to get a gift for a friend that was different and not just for the sake of buying a gift and thought, hey MicroBarBox. Ordered Gin Collection, delivered on time, easy order process and the recipient loved, loved it. Definitely more orders in future, great solution for birthday gifts.

We are very sorry for the delay with this parcel. I have looked into it further and it does appear there was a shipping delay with the courier which we can only apologise for.
I appreciate that it arriving a day late is not what you wanted. We have refunded the shipping cost in full as you didn't receive the service you paid for this time.
I see you previously placed an order in July for the delivery window of 12th-15th July. This was delivered on the 12th as requested.
Hopefully you can see this is a rare and one-off delay and is not our normal service level.
I also hope the birthday girl still enjoyed the gift despite it arriving one day late.

Delicious cocktails yum yum
I bought the small Baileys box for part of a friends birthday present. The packaging is very expensive looking and the products are packed neatly. My friend loved it. I was so impressed that I bought the larger August box. There was enough products on it to make 4 good size cocktails. Great idea and I will definitely be buying more.

Presentation is lovely however it's very misleading that you are only provided with 1x150ml Mexican lime soda when you need 6 of these according to the recipe provided. This wasn't cheap so I'm left feeling short changed. Wouldn't recommend or purchase again.

Thank you for your review. It seems there is a confusion here with the image on the recipe card. You do not need 6 x Mexican lime soda's for the Mojito, you only need the 1 can that is provided (6 cans would make a very big drink!).
However I can see where the confusion is. The image of the can has "6 x 150ml" on it simply because the can is from a 6 pack.
We will get these updated to remove that from the can image so we thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We can also assure you and everyone reading this that all boxes are supplied with EVERYTHING require to make each of the cocktails on the recipe cards. You do not need to supply any drinks yourself (either alcoholic or mixers).
Sorry again for the confusion but we hope you enjoyed the cocktails nonetheless :-)

Damaged box
I have ordered from Microbar on four occasions. On my previous order one of the boxes was damaged which would not have been acceptable as it was a gift, I flagged this up to Microbar and they resent a new set. Based on the fact they resolved my issue, I ordered another gift recently however the box was damaged Again! I flagged this up and they sent a replacement box. I have lost a bit of faith now. It's a fantastic product but someone is not checking the product presentation before its sent out. For this to happen twice now makes me think this is probably a regular occurance. Presentation is key when it's a gift and lets be honest, these sets arent cheap. I feel bad giving this feedback as they have a cracking product here. Come on Microbar, sort it out

Gift was sent on time but the gift message was from another customer’s order. They apologised and offered to resend the gift card but by the time it was acknowledged it was too late.
