DO NOT Loan from Microclick... horrible customer service

I began receiving harassing emails, text messages, and calls falsely claiming that collection proceedings were being initiated against me for non-payment. I want to emphasize that I have not missed any payments, and my account remains in good standing. When I attempted to call the number listed on their website, the person who answered was barely audible. They redirected me to the collections department, but they never answered my calls. After finally receiving a response to my emails, I requested a call from a supervisor and am still waiting for that call. This company operates as a predatory loan provider, and their tactics should not be tolerated.

Worst Possible Experience - SCAMMERS

**DO NOT BORROW FROM THIS COMPANY; THEY ARE SCAMMERS!**

I borrowed money from them and then lost my job. I was always very upfront with them about my situation. After some time of going back and forth, they agreed to a settlement amount. I was paying them biweekly to pay off the loan, but during one of those biweekly payments, I made only half of the payment and missed two other payments, fully aware of the 2 NSF charges. I was going through a difficult financial period, and they were informed about everything as well!

I kept track of every single payment made, including the half payment and the two NSF charges they added. I repeatedly tried to confirm the remaining balance of the loan, but they never provided it. Instead, they quoted me a ridiculous amount—over $250 more than what we had originally agreed upon. These people are scammers!

**DON'T BORROW FROM THEM!**

Trust pilot says they are US company

Trust pilot says they are US company, if true, they have zero legal authority or rights in Canada. All loans in Canada must follow Canadian laws and regulations.
This company also runs Loanrush and likely others, and are total scammers. After completely paying $518 for a $300 loan, they have harassed me for 3 months using illegal tactics, violate Canadian consumer protection laws, and hide their names and numbers like cowards. This is the type of emails you can expect
Notice the lack of details in the email,
Not addressed to anyone
No name in the body of the email,
No legal business accreditation in the body of the email which is required by lending laws in Canada
No name or employment title in the email
No details or credible evidence of debt owing.
This is what frauds and scammers do to export money.
Report them to the consumer protection agency of Canada
File a police report and give as much information as possible.
Change your bank account immediately!!

This is a final demand regarding the overdue payments, which remain unpaid. Payment must be made today, without exception. If payment is not received by the end of today, we will immediately initiate legal action to recover the amount owed, without further notice or correspondence.

This matter is now time-critical. Send proof of payment immediately once completed. Failure to act today will result in formal legal proceedings.

DO NOT BORROW!

DO NOT BORROW!! I was illegally threatened and harassed because they claimed I was ignoring their emails. However, I had emailed them 5 times in the two days prior to the incident with absolutely no response. One of the threatening emails was literally a reply to one of the five I had sent. Terrible customer service and extremely rude/unprofessional agents. Would give a 0 star if I could.
