if you had any problems with Microsoft just leave it , they will never help you it has been 200hours wait and every support agent keep promising me 24hrs to be solved , for the past 8 days i still didn't get any response and they all play me TO AVOID as a service as a support as a platform to advertise

all I got was a runaround that took me over an hr to get a live person on phone. Please hold the line while we transfer you to a support person after 4 transfers got a message sorry were are closed hung up on me. wouldn't give them a one-star, but your site doesn't show a blank

Dificult getting in touch with a human.

Got charged on my credit card for a subscription that I dont have. Tried to talk to a representative for 3 days, it seems that they have only bots working for the company now. Finally I talked to someone after I asked the bot to "let me speak with a human" and they said to call the bank as they dont know why the charge occured.

Do not buy Windows 10 under any circumstance

Windows 10 will not open programmes, continually freezes leaves odd bits of text and media on the screen that can not be removed until shut down, other times it freezes with no option but to turn off with programmes open. The computer is only 3 months old and this has been going on from the first day I purchased it. I have sent message after message to Microsoft, tried phoning, used Microsoft Support Facebook page to communicate, left online reviews but absolutely No Support, No answer of telephone, No answer to chat. Nothing. Once money is taken for windows 10 computer there is Absolutely No Support from Microsoft whatsoever and cannot take back to Store without waiting in queue for hours and then only to be offered more of the same

BUYERS BEWARE OF MICROSOFT PRODUCT & SUPPORT

WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I AM EXPERIENCING WITH MICROSOFT CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPORT!!!
MY SURFACE PRO 7 PURCHASED IN DECEMBER 2019 IS MY ISSUE. I FINALLY STARTED TO USE THIS PC TABLET AROUND APRIL 2020. TRANSFERRED ALL MY PROGRAMS,MUSIC,DOCUMENTS IN SHORT EVERYTHING.
THEN THE SOUND STOPPED WORKING AFTER A MICROSOFT UPDATE. TROUBLESHOOTING IT WITH AND WITHOUT SUPPORT DID NOT WORK. I WAS ASKED TO SEND IT IN FOR A REPLACEMENT BEING THAT IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. I SENT IT IN AND I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANYTHING BACK.

MICROSOFT SUPPOSEDLY SENT IT WITH FED EX WHO IN TURN LEFT THE PRODUCT ABANDON IN THE HALLWAY OF THIS 89 APARTMENT BUILDING. I WAS ASKED TO DO THIS AND THAT WITH FED EX BY MICROSOFT IN ORDER TO FILE I CLAIM. NOW I AM BEING TOLD TO FILE A THEFT REPORT WHEN THEY ARE THE SENDER NOT ME.
NOT TO MENTION I WAS OUT OF STATE FROM AUGUST 26,2020 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 4, 2020. I SENT THEM PROOF YET THEY KEEP GIVING ME A BAD TIME FINALLY THEY STOPPED RESPONDING. IT HAS BEEN WEEKS SO NOW I HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT FOR MY SURFACE PRO, COURT FEES, A PROCESS SERVER, LOSS OF WAGES, AND ALL THE STRESS AND AGGRAVATION THEY HAVE PUT ME THROUGH DURING THESE PANDEMIC TIMES. THEY NOT INTERESTED IN REPLACING MY ITEM NOR REFUNDING ME. THEIR OUT OF COUNTRY SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES ARE A JOKE. i REQUESTED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR A MANAGER TO CONTACT ME IT NEVER HAPPEN. THIS HAS ADDED GREATLY TO WHAT MY FAMILY IS EXPERIENCING AND ENDURING DO TO COVID-19 AND THE PANDEMIC.

I SENT MY LAST REQUEST FOR HELP AND I CONTINUE TO BE IGNORED. I NO LONGER WANT A REPLACEMENT ONLY THE COST FOR THE PRODUCT AND ALL ADDITIONAL FEES. I WILL NO LONGER BUY MICROSOFT PRODUCTS. CONSTANT ISSUE WITH PAYMENT PROCESS ERRORS!!!!!!

Constant, ongoing issues with "can't process payment"! Trying to purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription online lead to be wanting to throw the computer, Xbox and everything else out of the window in sheer anger and frustration!
The subscription for 12 months costs a meer £49.99 - hardly going to break the bank! For some reason, Microsoft makes the decision to flag that as "suspicious activity" and put a block on my account. There was absolutely no reason for this. No apology and no notification. I had to spend tedious hours trying to get a response from "support" and a very frustrating phone call from an Indian girl telling me I had to patient and it would take another 24 hours to be un-locked!
I should point out that none of my cards or banks were at issue - THIS WAS A MICROSOFT ISSUE! IT IS THEIR RIDICULOUS SOFTWARE!

ERROR CODE BELOW - BEWARE IF YOU GET THIS, YOU WILL BE LOCKED INSIDE A CYCLE FOR OVER 72 HOURS OF CONSTANT FRUSTRATION!

PURCHASE A PLAYSTATION!!!!!!!

Excellent Microsoft Live Support

I had an issue getting Windows Updates for my Windows 10 pro. I tried a couple of programs SpeedyFix and Reimage, neither of these fixed the problem, even though both boasted the problem could be fixed using their software.
So I contacted Microsoft Live Support and advised them of my problem.
They took my phone number and a Technician rang me from the Philippines
I could not fault the technicians efforts in fixing the problem. After approx. 4 or 5 hours my PC was completely fixed. I cannot thank Microsoft Live Support enough they give an excellent and friendly service
and would not hesitate to recommending them to anybody.
They stayed with the problem even though on my reckoning it was about 02;00 am in the morning when she finished. She even called me the next day to confirm that everything was OK. This is what you call Customer Service.

Im not satisfied on your support! Your support is not helpful and harassing customer! You cannot be called support if you cannot help customer to resolve problem on their product. Please make sure that you will take a good and better support! Im very not satisfied about your support!

Good evening,

I write with deep disappointed about my experience with Microsoft.
I recently purchased surface pro 4 on the 22/09/2017 and received this on the 26th of September.
I required this as I have recently started collage and needed something to be able to help me with my work.
To my surprise my brand new surface pro decided to switch itself off and not turn back on again on the 27th of September. While in class taking notes the surface pro began to heat up and decided to completely shut down and would not come back on. I decided to put it on charge thinking this would help.
I have lost my work that I had completed on this and had to start again.
The surface pro had completely let me down when I needed it.
I contacted the customer service department on the 27th of September and was told to return it to them and they will refund this and I was told to buy a new one.
Now to hear that was a complete shock as you expect something at £1651.31 and a brand so big and important like Microsoft to be reliable.
I could not afford to buy another one and wait for a refund I needed the surface pro to help with collage.
I was told I would have to return it to them and wait for delivery for a new one.
So posted the surface pro back to Microsoft on the 28th of September. I couldn't believe it I had this for under 24 hours and was having to return it.
I had to wait 7 days for a replacement. To say I was angry was an understatement.
I have always used Microsoft products and gadgets and never expected this and to be told to buy another or wait 7 days for a replacement. I'm sorry but I do not have another £1651.31 to spend. I was offered no compensation for loss of my work and time I needed to have this to help with collage.
I would like a reply to this within 30 days. If you require any further information please contact me.
I feel that there could have been some sort of compensation for the poor customer service and the time wasted with delivery. There has been nothing and I will not be purchasing any further Microsoft products. I have completely lost all faith in the products.
So far the replacement had been working. There is still an issue with it over heating but it hasn't switched off. Yet!
I use surface pro approximately 6 hours per day. I feel this is nothing for such an expensive product.
I look forward to your reply.

They try to trick you, is completely incompetent, and hangs up on you!

If I could give zero stars I would! They lie, and they hang up in the middle of my conversation with them. Afterwards I try to contact them again, and they just won’t answer. Finally when I get to speak to a new person, she can’t even speak the language! The person is completely incompetent. She does not have a clue what to do and sits quiet on the phone looking for answers to a simple question for 15 minutes while I am waiting… They are supposed to help people with their problems, but I know a lot more about PC and software than this person…
After I got windows 10 and new Office Prof 2016 the problems began..
Outlook spamfilter does not work at all. The blocked senders keep coming into my inbox. And it seems that Microsoft is aware of the unsolvable problem, according to other websites. It’s just that Microsoft support are not aware of anything at all!
I have the 2016 Professional and not the 365 day Office. The Microsoft lady tried to trick me into getting into an Outlook.com account instead of the one I have. Just like other people have experienced here. They try to trick you to use their online service / 365 Office and take control of your account and private settings.
If I could downgrade to Windows 7 I would. My old Office 2003 worked better than this!
This is the worst company ever!

The company outright lied to me

The company tried to scam me over the phone. First of all, they put me on the phone with some guy that was a complete idiot and could barely speak English. Second, they told me I would have to buy $300 of extra software that I didn't need to fix the problem with my computer. I was having trouble installing a new OS on my PC, they told me that I needed the Retail version instead of the ODM version. I went over to Best Buy and for $7 they successfully installed the ODM version of Windows 10 on my new PC. When I went over to Best Buy, I couldn't believe it. Microsoft, a company I trusted for years, just outright lied to me over the phone. Never trust Microsoft customer support. I would give their customer support a zero if I could.
