The small double ottoman bed was…
The small double ottoman bed was exactly what I was looking for to fit into our smallest bedroom. It looks good, the price was very competitive and on arrival was a good sturdy, well built bed.
Not only did I get a great bed, I was able to order a made to last mattress with it too.
Next time I need a bed, Midas Beds will be where I buy it from.
Thank you Midas for making the process so easy from ordering to delivery and the delivery men bought it upstairs to the bedroom room. Excellent service from start to finish.

Awful Experience
Awful Experience. Do not buy from this company.
Ordered bed in fabric choice. No call to say delivery was on way, yet had been told a time slot. They turned up just as I was leaving for school run. Could not get it delivered into room of choice due to this and they made me late for pick up.
Noticed straight away bed was not the right material. ‘Naples dove’ shown as a neutral beige/stone flat in colour material. Arrived as a grey crushed velvet like material.
Called them same day and asked for fabric samples as the bed itself is exactly what I need and was hoping to do a quick exchange. Son now without a bed frame and entry way to house inaccessible due to location of the bed delivered.
Was told by David Higgs the samples were sent and would take 5 working days. It has now been 3 weeks of back and forth with David continually lying to me. Samples been sent. Royal Mail failed to deliver. Samples sent again. And then asked for my address and postcode which was given originally when ordered samples & if he’s sent that many samples surely he would have it logged. Been sent another email today 3 weeks after the initial send out of samples that the samples have been sent again.
My son coming up to a month nearly with no bed frame. Believed the company would help and be of assistance to address their failure to provide accurate information on their own website.
Absolutely gutted at the horrendous service. Not a cheap bed. Worked my arse off to buy this for my son. And been incredibly let down. I have asked for compensation and have been entirely ignored. I will be taking this further unless resolved this week. I am also logging this as they have a 30 day return policy and their failure to execute this exchange with a customer who genuinely wanted their product is the reasoning this has gone on so long. And may surpass 30 days.

There were no instructions on the…
There were no instructions on the assembly of the bed and headboard. Also the staples and cloth keeping the drawers secure were incredibly difficult to remove. We were otherwise satisfied with the bed and its delivery.

The build quality and quality control…
The build quality and quality control on these beds are terrible. The bed had to be returned which was easy enough however it shouldn't have come out like that. Then when I get the new bed I try to fit the head board to find two of threaded inserts were lose so could not be tightened. If the issues above didn't happen it would be a good product.

"the worst thing we've ever bought" and no customer service
To quote my wife "this is the worst thing we've ever bought".
I have never left a one star review before but I have sent Midas 3 emails, left two voicemails and tried to call countless times since receiving this bed and no one will offer me any solutions. One person called me back and promised someone else would call me to make it good but no one ever did. I hope this review prevents anyone else making a mistake with this company. Mistakes happen but it's how you deal with them and this lot aren't dealing with them.
I bought a bed from Midas, one of the more expensive ones in their range, and a headboard to go with it.
Delivery was absolutely fine and relatively prompt. The team put it into the room without issue and the packaging was solid.
The bed looked fine and the headboard looks quite nice.
However:
1) the metal holes for the gliders were full of wood so they couldn't be inserted.
2) one of the drawers doesn't open regardless of effort and prying. It's completely stuck. Still is, I have no idea what to do there.
3) there are no instructions at all, not even a courtesy piece of paper.
4) it's not clear where the headboard screws go into the bed at all so you're presumabt expected to make a hole in the fabric of your brand new bed to hopefully find the nut.
5) the headboard was missing half the screws and washers. We needed four and only had two of each
6) the headboard prop is the wrong width for the nuts so doesn't go on smoothly at all
7) once the feet are on the headboard prop is too short for the bed so it's got nothing taking the pressure at the bottom. It looks and feels like it's a matter of time before it breaks
8) I paid for the heavy duty bed as my mattress alone is close to 100kg and it does not feel heavy duty at all. It's just a cheap divan frame.
Avoid this company.
Edit: I see Midas have replied asking me to email. I have. I also added my order details here before they replied. How many customers have this experience that they can't tell who I am?

Delivery guys were great
I had booked for my old bed to be taken away however did not realise I had to dismantle the ottoman base. The 2 delivery guys were brilliant and did it for me which I was so thankful for. I was kept informed of updates regarding delivery and was able to select a convenient delivery slot. I also made a mistake when placing my order and ordered a double bed but a single headboard. The error was picked up quickly and i was able to correct it easily. i would definitely use again.

I’m sorry to say, very disappointed! My bed arrived, Divan with 4 drawers. No instructions but I put it together. On completion I cannot open any of the four drawers and one is broken! I sent a messaged the company on the same day to ask how they would resolve this, I have had no reply! Do not use this company!!

Super Easy Ordering, Super Product
From order to delivery a smooth process. Even allowing for a UK bank Holiday the bed arrived 7 days from ordering.
Ordering was easy and delivery was completed professionally. The driver called to let us know they were on their way and delivered to the room it is being used in.
