I have just done the Les mis and phantom of the opera trip to London. As to Middleton's as usual I could find no fault but the Sheraton hotel Heathrow really let them. Completely disorganised not able to check in even after the show as beds unmade people asleep in rooms we were given keys to and trying to enter . Complete chaos and the staff didn't seem to care. When most of us still had no rooms at 1 in the morning Roger called the Marriott and transferred half of us there . This was no fault in Middleton's part who were trying to sort it out but the staff there were not interested . I can honestly say I have done many many trips with Middleton's tours never had any issues and this was not down to the Middleton's staff in no shape or form they were having to try and sort out the mess by the hotel staff. I would think twice on going on another trip to that particular hotel if it's used in the future but as to Middleton's service and professionalism they are definately the best.

I’ve just returned from my fourth Middletons trip but never thought to review before. Not sure why - because they definitely deserve acclaim!

From the ultra local pick up through fabulous destinations and brilliant on board service - it must make holidays with Middletons extremely hard to beat.
On this latest trip our driver Craig was skilled, swift and ultra safe. Our hostess Chloe was new, a little unsure but efficient, professional and friendly.
Comfortable seats, not squashed. I’ve never been on a coach trip before Middletons where you are served drinks on the road, and it was fabulous! The variety and number of destinations they offer are brilliant. Hotels have all been well chosen, very comfortable and excellently placed for all local attractions - and that’s great for when the “extra” day trips have finished and local explorations begin!
Even on a holiday resort trip, we were treated to extra trips to 3 nearby towns on consecutive days. Absolutely first class all round. Well done Middletons - and long may you remain a local family firm! Cannot recommend more highly.

Myself and my husband and two friends have just returned from Switzerland , glazier express and can only say that it was amazing , and Dave the driver and Debbie the tour manager were absolutely fantastic , Dave’s driving was impeccable, and Debbie could not do enough for you , she was very attentive and imformative, they both had a good working relationship and good banter , the hotel and food was great, and the views from our balcony window was beautiful , cold not fault a thing , 10/10, thank you for a memorable trip ……

We have just been on an overnight stay in London to see Mama Mia the Party.
Pros:
Accommodation was good, it was in the centre of London.
Middleton Tours staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Mama Mia the Party was really enjoyable. Unfortunately, the evening was in our opinion cut short.

Cons:
We paid for tickets to Mama Mia the Party and only saw Mama Mia the show at the O2 Arena. We had to leave the show at 10:00pm for a thirty minute walk back to the coach. Our coach party were the only ones to exit the arena at that time as the party element of the show had just begun. We were absolutely gutted to have to leave so early and to have no time to enjoy the party. We will seriously consider whether to book with Middleton again after this huge disappointment.

Our coach was not the smoothest of rides and we question why they have tv screens at the back of the seats if you can’t use them? Another coach company we have booked with for a similar length journey have these screens and you can watch TV or films. Further there were no charging points for phones.

Summary:
I rarely give feedback but we were so disappointed at having to leave Mama Mia the party well before the end of the main show. The show started at 7:30 until 9:50 and a Cabernet started then until around 10:30 after which time there was a disco. We saw about 5 minutes of the Cabaret. In our opinion we should have been picked up by the coach no earlier that 11:00 pm.

Just returned from 3 night stay tribute weekend in Torquay staying at Rivera hotel.had lovely time food excellent and entertainment.big thank you to coach courier Debbie and Craig driver for doing excellent job in looking after us.

We have just arrived back from Scotland, where we have had a fantastic time and a lovely stay at a golf spa hotel. The food was limited but of very good quality and cooked to perfection. We would like to thank our two fantastic drivers, Graig and Neil, who were brilliant hosts and most knowledgeable about the areas we visited.

I went on the Donegal and the Giants trip with Middletons coaches.
The trip itself was fantastic, Roger and Tom were really friendly and helpful and the itinerary was excellent. Great care was taken to make sure that every day was interesting and trips were varied. The sightseeing tours had very good tour guides (Londonderry and Belfast). We were given plenty of time to look around the Giant's Causeway and other stops, and we didn't once feel rushed or that we were an inconvenience.
Unfortunately the trip was spoilt for me by inadequate food provision. I had previously informed Middletons that I am pescatarian with a nut intolerance and at no point did they state that they were unable to meet my requirements. During my 6 night trip, I had one decent meal. The others were wholly inadequate. I had to eat haddock 3 nights in a row because there were no other options. The meal itself was substandard. One night I was presented with 2 vol-au-vents with a tablespoon of vegetables. Not what I'd call a meal. Another night I had macaroni with tomato sauce - nothing else - the macaroni wasn't cooked properly so I removed it from the dish so all I was left with was the tomato sauce and a few borrowed vegetables. There were no hot vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast. I emailed Middletons upon my return to complain and their response was that I should have mentioned the food issues to Roger at the time. I did! He was also aware that other people were having issues with the food. They also said that next time I should specify that I require a vegetarian menu. If they couldn't cater for me, why didn't they say this when I booked? I am still recovering physically from the lack of decent food, it was that bad.
Sadly I will not be using Middletons for future trips.

Absolutely fantastic trip to the Isle of Wight. Always choose Middletons and do many excursions with them as they are just so welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Special mention to Tom the driver and Chelsea who both made the experience so pleasant and enjoyable. Keep up the good work! Geraldine Robinson and Chris Holden

First time travelling with Middletons, totally exceeded our expectations. We were so well looked after by both old and young John throughout the trip. Great company, lots of laughs and the amazing scenery was knockout. Thankyou Middletons

Thank you Middletons for an excellent stay at Golden Bahia in Tosha de Mar, the hotel gave us 110% on everything making it one of the best Christmas & New Years break in a long time. However we would have enjoyed more commentary from staff on board on the journey after having experienced John & Josh on the Tuscany holiday in October. Dave our driver was good company at the hotel and Lynn prompt with the drinks service. Thank you Middletons for arranging with Chris to drop us at home on our return. Diane & Alan Davis.

I’ve had many trips with Middleton tours over the years but never again I am well and truly done. I have been with the company for a few years as I really don’t like flying and they really do have some wonderful drivers like Rodger, Richard, Simon, Tom the lovely Matt and Danny to be fair they are great guys and they cannot do enough for you. Very very very pleasant and when you pay good money you want good service and a great atmosphere and with these guys you are granted a friendly service. Unlike some miserable sods who also work for the company whom are no approachable although they claim to be. I’ve experienced this.
Because I won’t be holidaying with this company anymore I am going to give my overall experience. First of all I’ve had some amazing holidays with them. Italy, Switzerland, Paris were ones I will never forget just fantastic memories. A negative experience I had was going to Bruges for one night in 2018 on arrival and the hotel knew what time we were arriving and to our surprise we couldn’t have our keys to our rooms because the hotel was still cleaning the rooms and the hotel was in a mess as they we’re having a refurbishment and updating the rooms but this was very annoying to me and stressful to my other half as he was not feeling well we were all told by Debbie to have a wonder around the town but my other half was unwell he wanted to lay down two and a half hours we sat in the hotel lobby waiting for our key to our hotel room and I explained to Debbie that my other half really needed to lay down but she did nothing never once did she go up to the reception complaining. I’ve never forgotten that.
But carried on holidaying with the same company.
Then we chose to go to Croatia with Middleton tours whom had never gone to Croatia before we were the guinea pigs the worst thing was the travelling three long days there and three long days back and every evening we were arriving at the hotels so late due to Germans being on the roads taking their holidays and one the second night we had to take a diversion due to a accident on the road. When we finally got there it was a huge relief and the hotel staff were so friendly the hotel was very beautiful and fabulous but really you only have five days there Middletons had put some trips on unfortunately the first trip that we did just totally put me off doing anymore trips it was horrendous we went to the worst safari Park that I have ever been to in my life. It was a disgrace and I wanted Mike and John too know in fact I ask many people whom we were holiday with if they were enjoying the trip and everyone I asked had the same opinion as me so I thought this is ridiculous I need to say something I mean Middleton tours always say please come to us with your problems anyway I explained in a very nice way that this trip was not good and I got my head bit off by John who I always thought was a lovely guy but it put me off him. When I’m paying good money I don’t expect a bad attitude for expressing how the majority of the people were feeling. So that was a day lost. It totally put me off doing the rest of the trips. So basically I paid way over the odds for four days in Croatia although sitting by the pool was lovely. Consequently I have been led to believe that Middleton tours do not include the safari trip anymore.
A couple of weeks after arriving back from Croatia I had already another trip that I had paid for at the beginning of the year I believe. This was going to be my trip of a life time as I had always wanted to go to do the Hebridian lights and the isle of sky.
Again this was a new trip to Middleton tours they had not done it before so yet again we were all guinea pigs. A couple of the hotels that we stayed in were disgusting and dirty infact the last hotel we stayed in was the worst a lady of our coach refused to stay in her room and there was no more rooms available so our lovely Matt who was our hostess on the coach had to swap rooms with her to keep her happy the very next day on the coach while serving us all drinks our Lovely Matt became unwell with an upset stomach my friend gave him three Imodium that afternoon it was such a shame for him as he carried on with service. Obviously he had caught something maybe from the room of the hotel I don’t know but I do know this that a big group of uss were so disappointed with the hotels that we stayed in we started googling the reviews on them and to all of our horror the reviews we all read were disappointing we read so many bad reviews so why did Middleton tours think it was ok to charge us almost a grand each to stay in minging hotels that served up appalling food. Why didn’t Middleton tours research or even do a dummy run why did we have to be the guinea pigs me and my other half paid 1899.00 and never got one penny back after complaining to Debbie. When I got back from that trip I spent over a week in bed I couldn’t stop being sick I also lost a stone in weight.

Our September 23rd -27th to the Isle of Whight, was our second Holiday with Middletons. we chose Middletons again because of, Ease of booking, polite helpful staff, and they do what they promise. Our coach driver Dave had so many setbacks, dreadful weather, hold ups and problems with the ferry operators. Throughout he was so patient ,helpful and rescourceful, we were lucky to have him, nothing was too much trouble.We will have no hesitation in booking further trips and hloidays with this company. In fact have a day trip booked already.

We have just been on a trip to York/Whitby for the first time with Middletons which we really enjoyed.
I would like to say thank you to Nick and Mark for making it a wonderful experience.

It was our first holiday with Middletons. We had a wonderful time in Looe at the Hannifore Point Hotel. Everything was first class from beginning to end. A big thank you to Debbie and Nick, we have already booked another holiday with them for next year.

Thanks to the hard work by Danny and Simon we had a great holiday in Scotland.Everything went like clockwork train/boat rides excellent.Slight upset on return due to unforeseen circumstances but handled very professionally.Thanks D B A Cooper.

Just returned from babbacombe. Had a lovely time. Lynn and Mark looked after us very well. Advice. Kept updated with all that's going on drinks all the way when it was safe. Lovely helpful and polite.

Richard and Mark gave us excellent service on our trip to Windsor Castle and Hampton court this weekend, nothing was too much trouble for them they went out of their way to please and was very informative. The hotel was fantastic and food the best travelling on luxurious coach too. We shall definitely travel with this company again.

Claire and Mick (or Mike?) were our guide and driver for our trip to ladies day at Aintree. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

They did their best to get the most convenient drop off and pick up areas. They both worked hard at serving the customers drinks (very reasonable priced) and cleaning the coach. Claire had to manage a bit of discord between passengers on the way back and did it very well and diplomatically.

The coach was clearly well maintained, comfortable and clean. The toilet on board was also very handy even if a bit bijou!

The hotel we stayed in was lovely and the dining arrangements were well organised. Again, all the activities were well planned and clear so it was stress free!

Ladies Day was fine, not necessarily for me! I would definitely recommend Middletons to others and be keen to use them again for a different trip.
