Total scam

Total scam.

Charge 50p then a month later take £29.99 stating you have agreed to a monthly subscription.

I hope all their employees step in dog poo on the way home and then walk it through their houses. Perhaps when they visit a restaurant, the food will come out cold with a pubic hair on the side.
Maybe they will book a holiday and the flights will be delayed for several hours.

Myiq is a scam

I have been charged $49.99 for a subscription I did not want. The whole process of accessing the iq report entails being deceptively sold a subscription and having a monthly subscription taken from my account. According to my research it seems that the only way to prevent further deductions is to cancel my card. Deceptive and out of integrity. Don’t be duped.

I unauthorized pmt with PayPal and Mi IQ only to receive $0.99 refunds. The $29.99 payment cas charged after I cancelled my subscription. I received a blacked out cancellation email from My IQ for $29.99 immediately prior to their charging me $29.99. This is very frustrating and an obvious scam.

fraud and con game nothing more.

i have reviewed this fraudulent service, been promised a refund and received nothing. they are liars and cons.

Based on numerous user reports and reviews as of early 2026, MyIQ.com (and related sites like myiq.co.uk) is considered a fraudulent service and a "subscription trap".

While they advertise a low-cost or free IQ test (e.g., $0.99 or £0.50), they use deceptive, confusing user interfaces to trick users into signing up for a high-priced, recurring monthly subscription (often around $30–$45) without clear consent.

Key Red Flags and User Experiences:
Unauthorised Charges: Users consistently report being charged for a subscription they did not knowingly agree to after paying for a one-time test.
Hidden Fees & Terms: The "small fee" for the test is often just a gateway to a weekly or monthly subscription fee that is not prominently disclosed.
Difficult Cancellation: Many users find it impossible to cancel, reporting broken links or no response from customer service.
Deceptive Customer Support: When trying to get refunds, users report being asked for extensive personal information (including full credit card details) in a loop, stalling for time.
Suspicious Reviews: Reports indicate the service may use bots or deceptive practices to maintain a high rating on review platforms, while the one-star reviews reflect the true user experience.
What to do if you have been charged:
Contact your bank immediately to dispute the charges and request a chargeback.
Cancel your card if possible to prevent future, recurring charges.
Cancel via PayPal (or whatever payment method was used) if you used a third-party service, as this is often more effective than trying to cancel through the website directly.
It is highly recommended to avoid this service and not provide any credit card details to them.

BEWARE: Scam

BEWARE: this is a rip off: They charge you 99p for your results, then charge your credit card MONTHLY £29.99 on an ongoing basis.

You can put a stop to future payments but I suspect I am unlikely to be able to reclaim past payments.

Scam

Scam! They aak you for a 50 cent payment, in the meantime you are signing up for a monthly membership without notification. Be aware! The signing up is hidden between all kinds of general information about the test you took. You will only notice once paypal starts taking your money

I randomly clicked on an IQ test (on 24 Sept 25). I then had to pay £0.99 to receive the results. "Fair enough" I thought. Astonished to open my inbox this morning and read from Paypal: "You've authorised £29.99 GBP to my iq dot com*" - for what?!!!

Apparently to dispute a payment with PayPal you have to contact the 'vendor' first.

I'll keep this site posted on progress.

* Trustpilot does not allow links in reviews...

I went back onto the iq website, cancelled there - and apparently will not be charged anything further. I also 'have access to all their services' until then. Shame I don't have time to use them. If I did I would still not want to pay £30 pm for them!

Update: Not sure if it's because I'd bought through Paypal but raised it as a dispute and a couple of hours later received a message saying I'd get the money back. Big relief.

Unacceptable multiple billing without my agreement

I thought I would do this to see to se if my IQ had changed over time.
However, I dod not intend to pr indeed want to sign up for a subscription but note that I have been charged now on four occasions, three times on 30 July and also on 6th August and was told by my credit card company that you have charged me again. I want you to remove me from your register and refund me all of the money that you have billed me.

Feel ripped off

I did a trial used one test and that was it. I cancelled the auto renew but was charged £14.99.
When I got in touch I was told I opted out of the trial. This is not the case at all. I sent another email as I'm not prepared to let this go but I'm still not getting any replies. Feel completely ripped.
