Very bad experience – Consumer rights ignored
I ordered an external hard drive from Milahome.se on 4 August 2025. Within the 15-day withdrawal period granted to consumers under EU law, I contacted the company to exercise my right of withdrawal. They refused, saying the order had already been shipped and that I needed to wait until I received the product.
After the delivery, they continued refusing the return, claiming they only accept returns if the product is defective. However, EU consumer law allows customers to withdraw from a distance purchase within the legal cooling-off period.
When I finally received the external hard drive, it was broken. I immediately contacted them and sent several emails with photos and videos clearly showing the damage. At first they replied and said the issue was being processed.
After that, they simply stopped responding. No replacement was provided and no refund was issued. Later, they claimed that the 30-day return deadline had passed and that they could no longer help me.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. My withdrawal request was refused, I received a defective product, and the company eventually stopped communicating without resolving the problem.
