Very bad experience

Very bad experience – Consumer rights ignored

I ordered an external hard drive from Milahome.se on 4 August 2025. Within the 15-day withdrawal period granted to consumers under EU law, I contacted the company to exercise my right of withdrawal. They refused, saying the order had already been shipped and that I needed to wait until I received the product.

After the delivery, they continued refusing the return, claiming they only accept returns if the product is defective. However, EU consumer law allows customers to withdraw from a distance purchase within the legal cooling-off period.

When I finally received the external hard drive, it was broken. I immediately contacted them and sent several emails with photos and videos clearly showing the damage. At first they replied and said the issue was being processed.

After that, they simply stopped responding. No replacement was provided and no refund was issued. Later, they claimed that the 30-day return deadline had passed and that they could no longer help me.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. My withdrawal request was refused, I received a defective product, and the company eventually stopped communicating without resolving the problem.

RUBBISH

RUBBISH. my order never got delivered, no help from customer service and no refund, that´s why there is no phone number.
Sadly there is no option to give them 0 stars.

Absolutely horrible service

Absolutely horrible service! The product I received looked nothing like the pictures and when I asked for refund, I had to go through a lengthy process. I still have not received my money back so still pending. Highly advise people to stay away from this website. Huge scammers!

0 stars! - terrible customer experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible experience. Received the product in a damaged box and when opened it was broken. I sent images right away to customer support and they told me they could not refund me but only resend another product.

I would never order again and I recommend nobody else ever order either. I should have done more research on this company before ordering as I see there are no good reviews. Let’s see how long they stay in business.

Complete SCAM!

Complete SCAM!
I ordered a lamp which was discounted from 799 to 499 SEK! It arrived 6 weeks after a long transit and came from China even thought the website is in Swedish and it has an address in the Netherlands!!
The product arrived broken and completely different compared to the picture!! Very cheap material!!
Then I looked at AliExpress and found products that are 10% of what Mila hole is selling them for! Is this even allowed!?!?!?
I contacted them and they said that they will offer me 15% discount instead of shipping the item back to China which would « increase CO2 emissions »! I requested a full refund but no answer! I’ll report them to Klarna and konsument verket… time for their scam to end!!

Actually OK

As many others here first I thought it was a swedish store and once I figured out that the order was shipped from China I got worried and found all these reviewes. Based on them I was expecting to get the Flos Snoopy lamp replica in cheap materials etc and return it for the half of purchase price. However, when the lamp arrived (a little delayed, though customer service was providing good support) I was surprised that it was a good quality replica in fact with the same materials and proportions as the original. The only difference I noticed as compared to the original lamp was the swich on button: chrome in Mila's version and black in the original. Additionally, the plug of the lamp was of US standard, so I had to buy an adaptor at Kjell&Co separately (sek 100). But overall impression is good, the lamp looks beautiful and is not going back.

I would not give the company even one…

I would not give the company even one star!
I have ordered two lamps but have not got them. MilaHome writes (no one to speak to so why they want my phonenumber I don’t understand) that they have sent the items and it is up to me to contact the transport company to find the lamps. So don’t think that you will get any help from their so called costumer support. Buy your stuff somewhere else!!

THIS IS A SHAMEFUL COMPANY. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I bought a dressing gown from Mila Sweden and the experience has been disastrous from start to finish. When the dressing gown arrived it was too small and not at all as expected. I followed the instructions on their website and contacted the company to return the item. I was aware that I would be responsible for the return shipping myself, but was completely shocked when they sent a return address in China - even though the bathrobe was delivered from an address in Malmö.

This is misleading and dishonest! That the company is called "Mila Sweden" gives the impression that it is a Swedish company and that returns are handled within Sweden, but this is obviously not the case. The return would cost me SEK 320, almost half of what the dressing gown cost (SEK 749). I tried to find a solution and offered that they could send a larger size instead, or give a Swedish return address, but got no answer. I have sent several emails since then but they completely ignore me.

I feel totally cheated and advise everyone to avoid Mila Sweden. Their customer service is non-existent, their business practices are dishonest and the whole experience has been terrible. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Absolute shit.

Been waiting for our lamps for over 6 weeks. It has been ”in transit” the whole time and suddenly it’s shipping from China?! Will never ever order from Milahome again and will warn everyone about this! Bad customer service too. Don’t yourself a favour and order from elsewhere.

Return cost to China, €100 :-(

Because the arrival time was to long I cancel it. When I ask how to return it took another week to get answer.
The whole website is in Swedish but I have to send it back to China. They say 30 days free r
And no return label.
It will cost me about €100 for a lamp of €50.
Is this even according to law?

Missing gift and lack of communication

I ordered a steamer with the promise of receiving a gift worth 20 euros. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.

Firstly, the package arrived a whole month after I placed the order. Secondly, the promised gift was missing. I have tried to contact them multiple times, but they haven’t responded on any platform.

I’m very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the failure to deliver on their promises. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
