Milestones Gift Card Policy - Criminal

Took my family to the Langley, BC location of Milestones for Father's Day brunch today. While the food and service was okay I was absolutely appalled when I was told that the $200 in gift cards was no longer accepted! I was told this was the new management's policy that was implemented March 31, 2023.

It is currently illegal in Canada to have gift cards with expiry dates so how on earth is a company allowed to get away with invalidating gift cards previously purchased!?

I am beyond furious. This new policy is criminal!!!
