Bought an otter feeding experience for my fiancé for her birthday and she had an amazing time. Our guide was super informative and friendly. We both had a great time (despite the downpour) and really enjoyed the rest of the park and café. A great day out all round

We had a really great time doing the Really Wild Encounter at Millets Wildside near Oxford. The experience lasted about 45 minutes and we got 3 encounters - the 2 lemurs, the 2 burrowing owls and the 3 capybaras. We learned so much from our keeper and it was amazing to get up close with these wonderful animals and feed them. The capybaras really took a shine to us (the food helped!) and we enjoyed the owls more than we expected to. Our keeper made us feel safe at all times and her passion for the animals shone through. We then had the rest of the afternoon to explore the rest of the centre and it was nice to catch the end of the falconry display too. Thanks for having us!

Bought my son the meerkats experience and he absolutely loved it, the lady was very knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to get Tommy sat on his lap who was a smart cookie to know it was easier to wait for food to come to him! Price included entry to the rest and falcon display. Mason is autistic and found it great so without a doubt we will be back regularly. Lemur experience next!

Bought the Birds of Prey experience for my grandson, but I also participated with him. The experience was really good and the birds of pray handler, Harry was very informative and had a wealth of knowledge about all 5 birds we handled in the outside arena and viewed within the complex. If anything was a minus, I would say that it would be an idea to rope the outside arena off as while we were doing the experience, people were wondering in and just sitting there watching, which was a bit off putting

A fabulous little Zoo/Animal park where the keepers commitment to enrichment of their charges lives is second to none. Our guide, Elise, (I hope I have remembered that correctly!), was knowledgeable and clearly cared very deeply for the animals in her care. The animal experience day was a gift for my husband who loves Raccoons and he got so much more as the experience also included Wallabies, Meerkats, Ferrets and Skunks. Sadly due to Defra rules his Raccoon experience was not hands on, but Elise more than made up for this by sharing her passion for these little creatures and her clear concern for their future due to the rules imposed by Defra. I couldn't recommend this experience more, do not let the size of the park put you off, these people care very deeply for their animals and have a passion and knowledge they are more than happy to share with you. This was the best Christmas present ever, seeing my husbands face light up at being close to all the animals and feeding some of them was priceless!

I asked to cancel an experience we booked, I am well within the 14 day period before my booking of which they state "monies will be forfeit". Therefore explicitly implying that if I do beforehand then a refund is available. They refuse to refund as "someone else could have booked the same slot and it costs them money". Do not book with this company, their customer service is horrific, no complains, and no possibility of a resolution, had to go to an ombudsman resultantly.
