Milometry is a mileage and fuel tracker for iPhone, iPad and Android. It is for anyone who drives for work and has to account for it: employees claiming mileage, the self-employed, landlords, carers, tradespeople and company directors. Once it is set up, Milometry can record your drives automatically. You then sort each one into business or personal with a swipe, and the app prices the business journeys at the rate your tax authority publishes, including the banded rates used in the UK. The rules for twelve countries are built in, and you can set your own rate if yours is different. When it is time to claim, the paperwork is already there. Every month and every tax year is itemised, ready to share as a PDF or a CSV with an employer or an accountant. Milometry also tracks fuel, works out your real economy from your own fill-ups, and can split the cost of a journey between the people in the car. We built it around two decisions. There is no subscription: you pay once through the App Store or Google Play. And there is no account: your log is stored on your phone, not on a server of ours. Place names and maps come from Apple or Google, as they do in any map app. The figures Milometry shows are estimates and general information, not tax advice.
