I had thought that I would have an free 24/7 minecraft hosting server but this had ended up with something else only.

Apparently after not accessing the server for 3 days the server is locked down and you have to go through a paywall to gain access to it again,and even when you do your world is wiped out unless you have created a backup.Of course this wasn't mentioned anywhere nor was I informed of this and it just feels scammy and exploitative

Our server was locked when we didn't play for a while, which was an unknown feature us.

There was a paywall to have access to our server again. Since it was a world with our boyfriend, there were a lot of memories on the server, so we decided to pay for a monthly subscription to access it.

All the server files were wiped anyway, a waste of money. It was implied we'd have access to our files since it was "locked". I might as well have just created a new server.

Never would have choose Minefort as a host if I knew this would happen. I feel extra exploited since I pay to have no access to our world anyway

It was the best platform I have ever played I was able to play with friends on the server it is so cool they even give out free trials the best thing that ever happened to me

great server hosting, it got all the basic features that a free server hosting should atleast have
also really easy to set up, it took me 5 mins to setup the server and had so much fun with my friends
except minor lag issues it was a good experience

The server itself was fine while I had it. I was on the free plan and it worked as well as you would expect for a free server. However yesterday I got an email saying that because I hadn’t played in 48 hours it would be getting shut down in 24 hours. I received this email at 3am so I didn’t see it at first. I only saw it at 12pm today and now my server is locked and I can’t even download the files to play the world offline unless I pay up £5 a month. This feels a bit scammy. I didn’t see this catch listed ANYWHERE on the site before I opened the server, and 24 hours is not enough warning. Either be more clear about these terms before you start a free server or give your users more time to open their server again before you lock it. I started this server because my last one on Minehut was limited to 4 hours a day, but this is even worse. I want nothing less than to pay to open my world again but I’m going to have to to download the files. But after that I’m never touching Minefort again and I suggest nobody else does, either.

I like that other poeple can join also many plugins

I have to look at youtube videos to figure out how to do things for the server. I wish there was instructions on the server. Or someone to chat with to ask a question about how to do something.

Minefort is a great platform and better from aternos as aternos gives u a queue everytime, so I absolutely loved the server , some things like veiwing everyones inventory in the server is a little hard but it is okay. Things minefort should improve tht 1. More storage / ram for free players 2. 24/7 servers . Rest the server is smooth n i love it

well I would like to see more improvements like maybe add 4G free for the free plan also to make it so players can have more people then 10 it would be great to see that in the future hope my response is good cause I do enjoy you guys

youve locked unactive servers behind a paywall. i cannot even access the files to move to a different, better hosting! how greedy can you be to do this?

Server runs alright. But hibernates WHILE Im playing. Im not gonna keep reconnecting to the world over and over thats ridiculous. So, server cool, experience bad

This is better than Aternos, Minehut and Scalacube!

for some reason on every time i joined the server i got redirected to a capchapta and then to a hub and i had no way to get to my server however after restarting the server and minecraft a few times it worked

I have helped a lot of people make servers, and even made a few of my own. And it is a pain to see ALL of them (except the paid ones) LOCKED! AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GET YOUR FILES OR ANYTHING BACK! UNLESS YOU PAY! THIS IS NONSENSE!

All me and my friends servers are locked and my friend had to make a ticket in the minefort server to unlock one of them and they only unlocked it hours later, plus the game is very laggy
