if i had a 0 star i would pick that... i con not describe the unimaginable greediness to lock a persons server after only 3 DAYS!!!! the only way to unlock it is to pay ATLEAST $6 dollars a MONTH to get your sever back and i built la lot of stuff on my server and you have to pay INDIVISUALY per server

The server itself is fine, nothing impressive, little laggy but playable. My problems are with 1. The dashboard it sometimes glitches and throws errors for no reason and I have to switch device or browsers in order to start my server 2. The required activity, three days is such a short time for us to maintain the server from getting deleted I hope you can increase it at least for a 7 day period and fix the dashboard glitches.

I signed up yesterday (April 6, 2026) as a new user and requested a refund within the 5-day money-back guarantee plus my statutory 14-day EU withdrawal right. Support responded with generic upgrade links, asked for a “reason” (not required by law), and told me to stop opening tickets. No service was used. Extremely unprofessional and delaying tactics. Many similar complaints on Trustpilot. Will proceed with chargeback if no immediate full refund. Do not recommend.

Even with free plan, servers are easy to acces and to configure, there are a lot of mods.

Not playing for longer than 3 days then all of a sudden locking the server behind a paywall is infuriating. I had to pay $6 for a month of the cheapest plan so I could download my server files and leave Minefort.

All I want is a free Minecraft server and what do I get a locked server it stays off for three days and it locks immediately what is this this is so stupid. I'm a long term mine for person but they changed everything around they made it so on free servers you can only have 10 people join when it used to be 20 stupid. Overall if you're going to buy a server then good for you just pay the money but since I want a free server this is the worst server hoster ever ATERNOS Minecraft servers are better than this. For free Minecraft servers ATERNOS is better.

So lag that I cant even play

I usually always use Aternos when playing with my brother, but it didn't work at all with a larger group, Minefort was perfect though!! No lag at all and it was extremely easy to set up, this was with 6 people for a survival server.
The only thing is I don't find it so customisable, in terms of mods and datapacks, but for what we were doing it was perfect because I just needed a server without lag that was free!!

My Minecraft bedrock verison is 1.21.131 and I am trying to join your minefort server and when your server start and I fill ip and prot is 19132 not using Java port and from dashboard the both connections are on but still your server not try to join me and then I click after 2 mints i gone to my Minecraft home screen fix this

Realy Nice and user friendly

I’ll share both what I like and my problems with Minefort. First of all, their server hosting, both free and paid, are pretty decent, though I will say the storage you get for free servers is a little lacking, and all the good servers are of course paid. No fabric support though. The lobby is also nice, letting you find other servers or gain a playerbase, if you’re a server owner looking for that sort of thing. Not a fan of the new thing where your servers get locked after a while- though you are able to unlock them again for free through their discord. Speaking of discord, and communication in general… yeah no. I help manage a server that’s been down for almost a month now (which is on them btw, not us), and what has Minefort done about it? Nothing at all. They’ve barely even responded except through their automatic chatbots. Yeah yeah, I’m sure the admins have lives and all that, but at least give a quick response that you’re looking into it or something. I’ve seen this bad management with other servers as well. Their discord ticket system is also broken, so you either have to email or DM, neither of which they respond to. So- good free server hosting option, but if something happens to your server, which it probably will, don’t expect to get much help for it besides the “I’ve forwarded this to management”.

Minefort is a really good hosting server, but one thing always pisses me off. The fact that i have to pay to renew my server if i didn’t play in it for two days is crazy. Other than that, good app.

I made a server for just me and my friend because I found out this was free, but we didn't play for five days because we where extremely busy, but now it's saying it's locked, this is an incredibly scummy business tactic because I am we are BUSY and have lives, and Minefort is forcing us to pay just for no playing the game for less then 5 days after telling us we could play for free. I feel scammed and ripped off, if I have to make a new server every time I don't play for sometime less then five days, what am I gonna do? just have my progress reset constantly, no, I'm positive that I will switch.

so i tried to host a server but there were 2 wery big porblems
1) no clear guide on how to start a server (there were no explanations on being forced to do unclear captcha)
2) my friends couldnt join the server

The server wouldn’t work, it wouldn’t load at all. I went back to Aternos and I’ll just deal with the ads and lag I guess.

I didnt really like the fact that when you have a free plan it’s really laggy even with 3 players and barely any plugins and when you haven’t started your server in a long time it becomes locked and then you have to pay They can improve that
