Minerva Vineyard Tour and Tasting. Join me in the vineyard, just a ten-minute drive from the bustling city centre. Here, we've revitalised what the Romans established in the surrounding fields in the Middle Ages, breathing new life into them. There's a palpable sense of history in the air and something truly extraordinary about this terroir. Our tour and tasting experience takes place in the vineyard, home to ten thousand vines planted in 2016. It all starts in the vineyard, where our acclaimed "Minerva" was created. An English Sparkling Wine was honoured with the prestigious Decanter Award in 2023. You'll embark on a journey alongside the wine itself, tasting its evolution from its humble beginnings and youthful vigour to its ultimate destination as a rich, terroir-driven sparkling wine brimming with character and allure. During the tour, guests will hear about the journey so far and try what the Romans would have tasted in their wine in the Middle Ages. Food Tasting menu: Guests will enjoy a light food pairing with each of the three wines tasted. Drinks Wine: All guests will be offered a complimentary tasting of three wines: base, award-winning sparkling, and still white/Rose. Booking your Experience You can book your Vineyard Tour and Tasting in days from the beginning of May to the end of September. Your Host: After nearly a decade of dedicated effort, I'm thrilled to extend this long-awaited invitation to join me on a journey that's been years in the making. In the surrounding fields, the Romans once cultivated vineyards, and now, we're endeavouring to revive and honour their legacy, a homage to Bath and us, its proud inhabitants. The inception of Minerva Wine marked not just the creation of exceptional wine but the realisation of a broader vision. Our aim has always been to provide enduring sustainability to our community.

Another thing to do in Bath
It was a different vineyard experience I had. The owner/farmer let us try to do ‘vine thinning’ which is fun. You can see and hear Eddie’s passion on the vineyard, and every detail has a great story and been think through. He is also open to suggestion as they are new into tour and tasting business.
Wine tasting has nice food pairing. Their Minerva wine is really good that you wanted bring it home.

Beautiful views with amazing wine
I cannot recommend visiting Minerva Wine enough - the setting is beautiful, and we all learnt so much from Eddie through the tour and tasting. It was great to taste all of the different wines, and then enjoy lunch under the awning - it truly felt like we had escaped the UK for the afternoon. Eddie was the perfect host and I cannot wait to visit again.

Picturesque views with even better wine
The owner of the vineyard was a wonderful host a tour guide, telling us all about the history of the area and how he tends to the vines. The wine is exceptional as was the experience of tasting it in their picturesque tasting tent.

Unbelievable Experience...
I had an absolutely amazing time at our Vineyard Tour and Tasting. The weather was perfect, the vineyard and tasting set up was amazing, and the wines were delicious. If you're ever visiting near Bath, I highly recommend reaching out to book a tour/tasting.
Eddie was a phenomenal host. So friendly and his genuine passion for the wine and the history of the land is unreal. We were able to learn about the different grapes they have in their vineyard, their dreams for the future, how the vines need to be pruned and taken care of. Then we had the delicious tasting in a "safari-like" tent overlooking the grape vines. He has a beautiful set-up and it definitely complimented the delicious sparkling, chardonnay, and rose wines we tasted. The pairing with delicious cured meats, cheeses, and other foods just brought a full balance to the overall experience.
Do yourself a favor and reach out to Eddie to book a tour ASAP!

Perfect wine tour and tasting
Booked the tour as part of a weekend away in Bath with my girlfriend. Eddie hosted the wine vineyard tour and wine tasting and was the perfect host. The tour and tasting was the perfect blend of interesting insights on how a wine vineyard works, whilst having a fun authentic experience at the same time. The tour in particular was also very interactive which made things fun. The wine tasting session specifically was the best wine tasting experience I’d ever been on, and felt more like an intimate dinner than a tasting! Every part of the wine tasting was well thought out and the setup was fantastic. The wine tasting was made better by the delicious cheeses, breads and snacks provided. Best of all was the view of the vineyard whilst you conduct the wine tasting!
